Dungeon Overlord: Monster Girl Harem!
Chapter 191 - 191: Unquenched Desires

Asmodeus appeared in a wisp of blue particles of magic and mana, walking forward without stopping, a twisted smile on his face. He ignored the cute Nyx and other succubi along the hallway, giving them a brief smile, before her climbed onto his throne and threw his head back with a long, drawn-out sigh. "Haa..."

So... this is my current strength?

The dungeon screen and holographic panel spread out, showing his current status.

He let his gaze run across the holographic status screen, drinking in the numbers—each one proof of the carnage and chaos that had followed him since birth.

So much strength, yet… the numbers felt flat tonight.

Experience still shy of the next level, no matter how many bodies he'd burned. DP and EP stacked up like a miser's gold, but the world outside kept asking for more.

He flexed his hand, fingers curling around the smooth armrest. It was easy to forget how fast everything had changed. The memory of blood still clung to his skin, under the fine layer of new scales.

[You look troubled, Leon.]

Ifrit's voice buzzed from the air above his throne—her fire sprite form hovering in and out of view, sparks trailing behind her.

A cold shadow slipped along his shoulder, then coiled up to his ear.

(My dear little Leo~ did you forget how to smile? Or just how to rest?)

"I don't hate time to rest..."

He closed his eyes with a long sigh.

"Not when there's still work to do."

Not only did he need to maintain communications with the humans in the city, watch the church and the southern kingdom. Leonhardt still contacted Victoria on a daily basis, after she stated working on a larger operation of their Pappilion wine.

'Aella also wanted to meet me...'

"Damn it, there's far too many things to do and only a few days left before I leave."

The task of being at the top wasn't always glamorous, and the rush of killing the orcs faded the moment he sat down and noticed the number of communication requests.

He leaned forward, dragging his hand through the glowing projections. Cities burned, armies bled, and kingdoms changed hands, but the next crisis was always waiting.

The screen flickered, showing resources, troop positions, and construction queues. Embervale was growing—alive in ways he'd barely dared to hope.

But it was still not enough.

He thought of Nyxara, the dark elves, the bloody orc camp, his power, and how it left him empty.

(That's why you have us, Leonhardt.)

Dravanna's presence grew heavier, scales shimmering midnight-blue along his collarbone.

(You're never alone—unless you wish to be.)

Ifrit snorted. [If he wishes to be alone, he shouldn't have picked up so many lost little pets.]

Leonhardt rolled his eyes, smiling despite himself.

And somewhere outside the throne room, he could hear the soft laughter of Zafira, the distant song of goblins, and the endless, quiet, burning ache of ambition.

"Forget it..."

***

Leonhardt's footsteps echoed through the marble corridor as he left the throne behind. His skin still prickled with mana and lingering violence, but he wanted a different kind of release, something physical, something simple.

He turned into the citadel's private baths and paused, finding steam curling above the surface and the air thick with the scent of herbs.

"Hm?"

Lina was already there. She lounged on the ledge beside the pool, with her glossy caramel skin in the light. Her naked form was quite alluring when she didn't speak.

Silky brown, sun-touched and flawless, with golden-brown hair scattered across her bare back, stumpy ears and flashing the curly brown hair between her crotch and her plump ass.

He raised a brow. "You picked a good spot."

"Leonhardt," she breathed, voice thick with need, more reverent than mocking. She pushed herself upright, the muscles in her arms and thighs flexing. She wore nothing but a grin and the confidence of someone who'd earned her place at the top.

He closed the door behind him. "You always find me, Lina."

"If I waited in every room, you'd have to come to one eventually. I'd wait all night for you." She scooted to the edge, legs dangling in the water, knees drawn up. Her small chest rose with every breath, her narrow waist tapering to hips made for trouble.

He stepped into the heat, ignoring the flush creeping up his skin. Lina stared at him, unblinking, hungry. "Sit," she said, patting the stone beside her. "Let me look at you."

'This damn perverted woman...'

He did, settling onto the warm stone. Lina didn't leap onto him. Instead, she shifted, drawing her knees up, then spreading her legs with zero shame, angling her body so he had a perfect view.

Lina rolled onto her back and let her body do the talking.

Her small breasts were modest, but cute, and she knew exactly how to gain his attention, turning around and lifting her hips into the air, letting him see her nature as she spread both cheeks, the soft brown skin shimmering with wetness.

Wide hips, far too generous for her short height... and that plump buttock that seemed fuller than even Zafira's pressed against the stone, tight and round... squishing with each movement she made.

Lina gave him a playful look, eyes flickering down his body and then up again, bright and challenging. "What, you going shy on me now?" She let her knees drift wider, her fingers toying with the edge of her hip. "C'mon, Leonhardt. You know I want you. You could take me here—no one would stop you."

He watched her, his gaze drawn unavoidably to the subtle details—the way her tanned skin gleamed under the bath's gold light, the flex of muscle in her thighs.

As she shifted, he glimpsed a tiny, dark mole hidden right where her buttocks parted, a secret detail only someone as attentive and as close as he would notice.

Lina grinned wider, catching the flicker in his eyes. "You like what you see?" she huffed in a low, but rough voice.

'Damn it... I almost got erect for this psycho gremlin.'

Leonhardt held her gaze, the heat between them tightening, but didn't move an inch.

"You're bold, Lina. Tempting. But I'm not here just for a show."

Lina pouted, but she shrugged and instead enjoyed the sight of Leonhardt bathing, her eyes unblinking like the perverted stalker she was.

He didn't pursue her or make an issue; instead, he enjoyed the heat of the water before finally standing up and taking one last look at the little goblin.

He paused at the door, casting her one last look.

"Don't get too comfortable, Speaker. Some hunger's better left unsatisfied."

He left Lina spread out in the heat, breath coming quick, the taste of denial fresh on her tongue.

'Is she going to drink my bath water?'

Though it didn't relax him fully, the frustrating thoughts from earlier vanished, and now he decided on how to proceed and how to spend his growing Dungeon Points.

Leonhardt made his way back through the silent halls, the steam and Lina's scent still clinging to his skin. Every step away from the bath sharpened his focus. His mind drifted to the mountain of Dungeon Points piling up, a fortune waiting to be spent or wasted.

He reached his private chamber, locking the heavy door behind him. The glow of the dungeon interface pulsed across the air, data streams swirling with possibilities. Cores—Fae, Djinn, Arachne—each one a gamble.

The taste of risk flickered on his tongue, and he found himself grinning, hunger curling low in his gut.

He'd denied Lina, but he wouldn't deny himself this. If the world wanted a monster, it would have one. All he needed was a little pain, and the nerve to swallow it whole.

His hand hovered over the purchase button. "Let's see what I become," he muttered, voice rough with anticipation.

The screen flashed, sealing his choice.
