Chapter 333: Chapter 333 Are You Fit to Be Parents?
Han Jingting was filled with shame and anger; she had never imagined herself in such a predicament.
"What, do we brothers need to personally feed you the drink?" Hao Ju said mockingly.
The lackeys behind him all burst into laughter.
"Or do you want your brother to feed you mouth-to-mouth? Hahaha..." Someone said lewdly.
Upon hearing this, everyone burst into another round of laughter.
Listening to their filthy language, Han Jingting was furious.
But she was also very aware that she had no other choice. If she didn’t do as Hao Ju said, there was no telling what kind of excessive actions he might take.
"So if I drink these thirty cups, you will let me go?" Han Jingting asked.
Hao Ju nodded, "Of course! When have I ever broken my word?"
Upon hearing Hao Ju’s assurance, Han Jingting finally made up her mind and picked up a cup of alcohol to drink it down in one gulp.
Then she drank a second cup, and the third...
Watching Han Jingting continuously drinking, a smug, cold smile appeared on Hao Ju’s lips.
Leave? Wishful thinking!
Even if she was going to leave, she’d have to please me first!
Shortly, after downing five cups, Han Jingting started feeling slightly intoxicated.
Seeing the flushed, charmingly attractive Han Jingting in front of him, Hao Ju became even more excited.
"President Han, why stop after just starting? Hurry up, keep drinking!" Hao Ju urged.
Han Jingting was seething with rage inside, but she had no choice but to continue drinking.
Watching the alcohol flow down Han Jingting’s beautiful red lips, Hao Ju felt a growing heat in his body.
Keep drinking, continue; once you’re drunk, you’ll be at my mercy!
Meanwhile, outside the private room.
"Something isn’t right with Jingting... Could something happen? We should call the police right away!" Han Bowwen said worriedly.
"We can’t call the police! If Brother Ju finds out we called, he definitely won’t let us off the hook!" Ding Liang said timidly.
Han Bowwen was infuriated, "What are you concerned about at a time like this? If something really happens to Jingting in there, can you bear the responsibility?"
Ding Lijuan stammered, "It... it shouldn’t be that bad, right? Brother Ju is at least Xiao Liang’s friend, he shouldn’t really do anything to Jingting."
"I think he’s probably just joking around with Jingting..."
"That’s right, Brother Ju definitely won’t do anything to my sister; he will give me some face," Ding Liang quickly added.
Ding Liang’s words only made Han Bowwen explode.
"Do you even believe what you’re saying?!"
Han Bowwen turned to Ding Lijuan, "He locked Jingting in a room by herself and you call that a joke? Was the slap he gave you earlier also a joke?"
Then he looked at Ding Liang, "And you have the nerve to talk about face. If you had even a shred of dignity in his eyes, would he openly demand five million from us?!"
"If it wasn’t for you agreeing to that five million right off the bat, Jingting wouldn’t have ended up in this situation! This is all your fault!"
Ding Lijuan immediately took offense, "Han Bowwen, do you even have a conscience when you say that?!"
"Was Xiao Liang doing it for himself? He agreed to help Jingting."
"It’s all because Jingting spoke out of turn and angered Brother Ju, what does that have to do with Xiao Liang?!"
"You..." Han Bowwen trembled with anger.
That woman, always defending outsiders!
"Forget it, I’m calling the police right now, I can’t let Jingting get into trouble!"
Han Bowwen took out his phone to call the police, only to have it snatched away by Ding Liang.
"Uncle, you can’t call the police. If Brother Ju finds out, he’ll kill me!"
Ding Lijuan also grabbed the phone, chiming in, "Exactly, there’s no trouble yet. Why call the police? If you get Xiao Liang into trouble, then there’ll really be a big problem!"
Han Bowwen, nearly driven mad with urgency, said, "There’s no trouble now, but if something happens, it’ll be too late!"
"Jingting is our own flesh and blood. If anything happens to her, could you live with yourself?"
"I..." Upon hearing Han Bowwen’s words, Ding Lijuan hesitated, but her hand still refused to let go of the phone.
Just then, several figures had already made their way down the hallway toward them.
"Chen Xuan, what are you doing here?!"
Seeing it was Chen Xuan who had arrived, Ding Lijuan immediately wore a displeased expression.
At this moment, however, Chen Xuan looked even more upset.
Cui Ruyun had instructed someone to watch the private room’s door early on, and just now, her subordinate had informed her about Han Jingting being left alone in the private room.
Cui Ruyun had wanted to rush over immediately, and just as Chen Xuan had arrived, they came together.
Thinking of how Ding Lijuan and the others had done nothing while watching Han Jingting be left alone in the private room by Hao Ju, Chen Xuan felt fire rising in his heart.
Without even acknowledging Ding Lijuan, he said directly to Cui Ruyun, "Open the door!"
Ding Lijuan became somewhat panicked, "Chen Xuan, what are you doing? I’m warning you, Brother Ju is not just anybody. Don’t cause trouble for us!"
Chen Xuan looked at her with disdain, "Afraid of trouble so you just watch your daughter being kept in a room by a gang of thugs, do you even deserve to be parents?!"
"What did you say? Who do you say doesn’t deserve to be parents? You bastard, say that again if you dare!"
Ding Lijuan made to move against Chen Xuan but was caught by the wrist by Cui Ruyun.
"On my turf, it’s not your turn to cause a scene!"
Ding Lijuan was overpowered by Cui Ruyun’s presence.
The other was Cui Fengjiu’s niece, the imposing Elder Sister Yun, not someone she could afford to provoke lightly!
While Ding Lijuan was being held back, Chen Xuan had already stepped into the private room.
Just entering the room, he saw Han Jingting desperately drinking alcohol, with more than a dozen empty glasses in front of her.
"Chen Xuan?" Han Jingting’s eyes were bleary, obviously she was heavily intoxicated.
Seeing this, Chen Xuan was consumed with anger.
These damned bastards, forcing his wife to drink alcohol, clearly had no good intentions, absolutely despicable!
"Come on, Chen Xuan, drink with me..."
Han Jingting, drunk with a bright smile, picked up a glass to drink with Chen Xuan.
Chen Xuan felt a surge of heartache, seized Han Jingting’s drink, and held her tightly in his arms.
"Jingting, you’re drunk, stop drinking."
Once in Chen Xuan’s arms, Han Jingting seemed to feel safe, the suppressed intoxication hitting her all at once as her body went limp and she passed out.
Chen Xuan hastily held her tight to prevent her from collapsing to the ground.
Behind them, Cui Ruyun watched the scene with a flood of emotions.
The care this man showed made her incredibly envious; how she wished she could be the one in his arms!
Hao Ju and his buddies had been pressuring Han Jingting to drink, in high spirits, but they were suddenly interrupted by Chen Xuan and immediately became infuriated.
"Damn it, who the hell are you? Didn’t you see we’re drinking here? Get the hell out!"
