Do Not Speak Ill of My Mother! -
Chapter 359 - 345? So it’s actually an older brother?
Chapter 359: 345? So it’s actually an older brother?
As soon as she saw this ID, she knew what had happened and was aware that her son held animosity towards his own dad.
Yet, she always felt that the one sending gifts now shouldn’t be Jun Lii himself, right?
So, she tentatively asked, "Yan Bao, how about mom joins you downstairs to check if it’s dad sending the gifts, okay?"
Jun Yan replied irritably, "If it’s not him, then who else could it be? It couldn’t possibly be my brother, right? My brother, ah! I know my brother too well! He simply despises doing such things!"
Still, he accepted his mother’s gesture to come down with him.
Humph, today I’m going to take mom downstairs to expose dad’s true face!
Saying that, he grabbed his mother’s hand and ran downstairs with heavy footsteps.
Actually, it really didn’t matter who was sending the gifts.
Yan Yueqing could sense her son’s grievances towards his dad were growing, even reaching a point of hostility.
If Yan Bao was just feeling a little jealous occasionally, that would be no big deal.
His recent reactions, however, seemed to treat Jun Lii as an enemy, whether it was staying in the Yan Family or the trip to T country, such targeted behavior was too obvious!
After all, they were father and son. When she had lost her memory and hadn’t returned, Jun Lii had taken very good care of Yan Bao.
There really was no need for things to become as awkward as they had now that she had appeared.
Yan Yueqing felt that if she didn’t mediate the relationship between father and son soon, Yan Bao’s dissatisfaction might grow, and by the time she intervened, it would be too late.
With that in mind, she walked toward the guest room on the second floor near the garden.
"Knock knock knock."
Jun Lii stopped what he was doing and glanced at Xiao Wang, "That must be Xiao Yan coming back. Continue watching, I’ll go open the door."
"Okay."
Yan Wang had noticed that Curved Moon had gone silent for a while and probably gone incognito, so he was slowly scrolling through other live streams.
As he opened the door, Jun Lii was about to look down at his son when a familiar and heart-stirring figure entered his view first.
"Yueqing?"
Yan Yueqing held a phone in one hand and led Yan Bao with the other, "Sorry to disturb your rest."
"No trouble, come in quickly," Jun Lii hurriedly stepped back, "It’s windy in the corridor."
Jun Yan rolled his eyes silently, seemingly disdainful of his father’s words.
Yan Yueqing ruffled the little guy’s hair and led Jun Yan inside.
As soon as Yan Wang saw that it was mom, his eyes lit up with happiness. He set down the tablet and called out sweetly, "Mom."
"Sweetheart~" Yan Yueqing greeted with a smile, noticing the laptop on the table. "Is Mr. Jun working?"
Jun Lii explained, "I was busy with some stuff, but I’m done now."
"Really?" Jun Yan said sarcastically, "Dad sure has plenty of free time, busy with work but still able to send gifts in the live stream?"
"Gifts?" Yan Wang paused, "Brother, it was me sending them."
Jun Yan paused for a second and then ran over to him, "Since when did you like sending gifts? I thought it was dad sending them?"
His tone sounded extremely sycophantic, nothing like the disdain he had shown for his father just moments before.
Yan Yueqing smiled and shook her head, "Just now, Xiao Yan saw this new user ID upstairs and guessed that Mr. Jun might have come to the live stream, so he was curious to come down and have a look."
Yan Wang explained, "It’s not what you think, dad—Uncle Jun was teaching me about investing."
Although he corrected himself to call dad, that was only when they were alone.
In front of mom...
Has mom acknowledged dad’s identity yet?
He didn’t know...
What if mom hasn’t acknowledged him yet, and him calling out that way would make mom feel awkward?
But the next second, Yan Yueqing stepped closer.
