“Not much,” Wang Hao answered while driving, as his parents got into the car, “Just a Jade Ruyi to be placed in my great-grandfather’s room for stability, to ward off evil, and to bring good luck.”

“Yeah, it makes sense to get one!” Dad exclaimed, “Our Haoer is really thoughtful. I didn’t even think to buy such a thing.”

As they hit the highway, Wang Hao drove Ren Xing’s Feng Tian Elfa straight for DQ county. On the way, Dad said, “Don’t rush off once we get to the county. I’m thinking of renting an archway. For the great-grandfather’s hundredth birthday, we should really do it up right. Our ancestor hasn’t left the mountain in his entire life; he deserves to have some fun. We’ll even hire a couple of people to sing some opera for him, to make it festive!”
