The group looked at each other and nodded in agreement, “That makes sense. Let’s go with the second uncle then. Brother Jing, shall we call now?”

Everyone nodded and sat upright.

Wang Mingjing dialed the number, which went through quickly. He said loudly into the phone, “Hello, is this uncle? This is Wang Mingjing.”

On the other end, Wang Hao’s dad laughed, “Ha ha, Mingjing, I’ve heard about what you guys are up to! When are you coming?”

Wang Mingjing and the others exchanged looks, then he replied, “We’re planning to come over in the next couple of days. We’ll prepare tomorrow and can make it there by high-speed train! That thing is super fast!”

Wang Hao’s dad, “Hmm, the high-speed train is good. The network nowadays is extensive. From where you are to the central sea, it’s only a little over an hour.”

Wang Mingjing asked, “So uncle, for this task we’re taking on, can you find someone? Our ancestors are really concerned about it, and, honestly, the road on our side is tough to navigate. It’s only about twenty kilometers, but it takes nearly two hours by car, all mountain roads, and it’s so bumpy, we could lose our backsides!”

“If we can manage that, it’d be great,” Wang Hao’s dad laughed. “Alright, when you guys get here, I’ll have my Little Hao accompany you.”

“Little Hao,” Wang Mingjing pondered for a moment before asking, “Is that okay? We’re going to a lot of places this time. Does he have a car?”

Wang Hao’s dad laughed, “Yes, everything is ready. Just come over. My Haoer is doing quite well these days, even bought a villa himself. He knows more people than I do now. If he helps you out with this, there’s a good chance it will work out!”

After hanging up, Wang Mingjing turned to the other four and grinned, “Wow, I didn’t see that coming. Little Hao bought a villa! Look at you lot, huh? No longer young and still idling around!”

Among the four, the youngest complained, “Brother Ming Jing, I’m only nineteen this year…”

This youngest one was Wang Mingjie, the youngest of the group, who was mostly on this trip to see the world.

“Being nineteen means what?” Wang Mingjing scoffed. “In our village, nineteen-year-olds have children already. Still think you’re young? Enough of that, let’s prepare these next two days. We leave first thing the day after tomorrow!”

All four nodded in agreement, then another suddenly asked, “Oh right, Brother Ming Jing, where will we stay at night when we get there?
