Chapter 151: The Morning After.
He then stood up, but Olive’s heart clenched at his words. Tears welled up in her eyes as she watched him walk away, her vision blurring with the alcohol. Moments later, she lost her balance and tumbled into the pool.

The moon eerie glow over the pool, its tranquil surface was broken by Olive’s frantic struggles. She thrashed about, her alcohol-impaired senses unable to coordinate an escape.
Lucas, still reeling from their earlier confrontation, froze when he heard the distinct splash of something falling into the water. Spinning around, his eyes locked onto Olive’s flailing form. Time seemed to slow as the reality of the situation hit him.
Without hesitation, Lucas dropped the whiskey bottle he was holding. It shattered on the ground as he sprinted toward the pool, his heart hammering with fear.
"Olive!" he shouted, diving into the water without a second thought.
The cold shock of the pool hit him, but Lucas didn’t flinch. He swam toward Olive with powerful strokes, his arms cutting through the water with urgency.
When he reached her, their eyes met hers wide with panic and desperation. He grabbed her wrist, pulling her close.
"Hold on!" he urged, his voice firm but soothing.
Olive’s grip on his arm tightened, her nails digging into his skin as Lucas kicked hard, propelling them both toward the surface.
"I’ve got you," he reassured her, though his own voice trembled with the weight of his emotions.
With determined strokes, he guided Olive to the edge of the pool. Once they reached it, he lifted her out with a grunt of effort before climbing out himself. Olive collapsed onto the cold tiles, drenched and shaking.
"Do you have a death wish?" Lucas yelled, his voice laced with both anger and affection. "You can’t swim, and you’re drinking! You could’ve drowned if I wasn’t here!"
Olive, instead of responding, gave him a lopsided smile, her hand reaching out to trace the bridge of his nose down to his wet lips.
"What’s funny?" Lucas asked, frowning in confusion as she started to laugh softly. "Yo..."
Before he could finish, Olive silenced him by pressing her lips to his, kissing him deeply and unexpectedly.
She continued, taking his entire lower lip into her mouth while gripping the back of his neck, pulling him closer.
Lucas broke the kiss, swallowing hard. "You’re drunk," he murmured, but Olive ignored him and kissed him again, more insistently this time. Her hands wandered lower, brushing against the waistband of his shorts and grazing his already hardened length.
"Olive," Lucas pulled away again, his face flushed and voice shaky, "You’re really drunk. You don’t know what you’re doing."
"I know exactly what I’m doing," Olive responded, her voice suddenly more focused. "I love you, and I want you."
"I love you too, but you’ve never wanted to date me," Lucas said, his brow furrowed in confusion. "How can you say you love me but not want to be with me?"
"You’re really handsome sweetie and I want to be with you too. Let’s talk a about that later though," she whispered, her hands still on him. "We could talk about anything later but not now as right now, I want you."
Before he could protest, she kissed him again, deeper this time, pushing him backward until he was lying on the cool, tiled floor. Olive straddled him, her hands tugging at the hem of her short black floral dress. In one fluid motion, she pulled it over her head, revealing a white lace bra and matching panties. Lucas’s breath hitched, and his body reacted instantly as her hips pressed down against him.
"Olive," he muttered, but the words caught in his throat as she rubbed herself against him, her wet panties sliding over the hardness straining against his trousers.

Sunlight filtered through the curtains, casting a golden glow on Olive’s face. The soft singing of birds drifted through the open window, and she stirred, her head pounding from the aftermath of last night.
"Oh, God... my head," Olive groaned, pressing her palms to her temples. She blinked a few times, her gaze snapping into focus when she realized she wasn’t in her dorm room.
The unfamiliar room was painted white and decorated with golden accents. The bed she was sitting on was queen-sized, the soft covers draped around her waist. Then, with a start, she noticed that she was only wearing her white lace bra and panties.
What the hell happened?" she whispered, her mind racing. Her last memory was of the party. But everything after that was a blur. The door to the room suddenly swung open, and her heart nearly stopped.
Lucas walked in, shirtless and wearing only a pair of blue boxers. His broad chest and tattooed arms were on full display, but what caught Olive’s eye was the tray he was carrying, with yogurt and fresh toast neatly arranged.
Olive instinctively grabbed the duvet and wrapped it tightly around herself. "What are you doing here? You don’t just barge into someone’s room without knocking!" she snapped, her voice sharp and defensive.
Lucas sighed and set the tray down on the small table by the bed. "You should eat something. The yogurt will help with your hangover." He stepped closer, grabbing her hands gently, forcing her to meet his gaze. "We need to head back to school soon."
"We’re still at Mark’s hall?" Olive asked, her voice less hostile but still on edge. "I thought I was kidnapped. Where are Mark and Lara?"
"They went back to school last night. I told them to go without us because you were too drunk to move," Lucas explained, his warm smile doing nothing to ease Olive’s discomfort. He reached out and began smoothing down her tangled hair, but she jerked away from his touch.
"We could’ve gone back too. There were cars, and I don’t exactly weigh a ton," Olive grumbled, her frustration mounting. As she spoke, the duvet began to slip down her chest. She grabbed it quickly, her face flushing as Lucas let out a soft chuckle.
"I’ve already seen it all. There’s no point in hiding," Lucas teased, his eyes gleaming with mischief.
"What? Seen what?" Olive asked, her voice rising in alarm. "When?"
"Because we slept in the same room, obviously," Lucas replied with a grin. "I mean, it’s not like we haven’t shared a dorm back at school."
Olive’s face paled. "Wait... Did you take off my dress? I don’t remember anything from last night. What happened?"
"Nothing special," Lucas said, his voice nonchalant. "You nearly drowned in the pool, got drunk, and I took care of you. Your dress was soaked, so I had to pull it off. But don’t worry, I left your bra and panties on." He smirked as he spoke, clearly enjoying himself.
Olive’s face burned with a mixture of embarrassment and anger. "Why are you smiling like an idiot? Why the breakfast in bed? Shouldn’t you be pissed at me for turning you down yesterday? Instead, you act all... affectionate. Why?"
Lucas’ expression turned serious. "What do you think happened between us last night, Olive?" His question hung in the air, heavy with implication.
"I don’t know!" she shouted, her frustration boiling over. "That’s why I’m asking! Did something happen?"
Lucas stepped back, his face hardening. "Like you said, you turned me down. So why would anything happen?"
Olive studied him for a moment, uncertainty gnawing at her. His words said one thing, but the look in his eyes told a different story.
Olive’s fists clenched. "What’s with the sudden shift then? Acting all lovey-dovey, bringing me breakfast? What are you not telling me?"
Lucas shrugged. "I had to take care of you. I didn’t have much of a choice. Bringing you yogurt for the hangover and some fresh toast for breakfast isn’t exactly ’lovey-dovey,’ is it?" He smiled, though it only seemed to fuel Olive’s irritation. "It just seemed like the decent thing to do."
Olive’s hands clenched into fists.
"You should eat, have a bath, and meet me downstairs when you’re done," Lucas added, heading for the door. "I’ll get dressed in another room, since you don’t want me here." A smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth as he walked out.
Bang.
"Since I don’t want him here?!" Olive muttered under her breath, glaring at the door. "Is he crazy? He slept in the same room with me!" Her frustration boiled over as she shook her head. "He’s definitely hiding something hence I better hurry and find Lara."
She grabbed the yogurt off the tray, taking a sip as she marched toward the bathroom. Once inside, she hastily undressed, her bra and panties hitting the floor. Just as she reached for the shower, she realized she hadn’t grabbed a towel.
"Damn it," she muttered, quickly covering herself with her arms as she rushed back out into the room.
Just then, the door creaked open again, revealing Lucas standing in the doorway.
