Chapter 146: Drug Business Continues.
Inside the 3RM, they found Lucas, busy working on his system. When he looked up and saw Aiden, his expression slightly turned somber, but was soon replaced with a look of frustration before storming out of the room without a word.
Olive, Mark and Lara were not even bothered as they continued to cater for Aiden. After making sure he was comfortable, Lara and Olive left for their respective dorms, leaving Mark to care for Aiden through the night.
As Olive entered her dorm, she was greeted by the sight of Lucas devouring a bowl of instant noodles. His eyes briefly flicked to the door when she walked in, but he soon returned his focus to both his noodles and the movie playing on his laptop.
Olive, not in the mood for any conversation as she was terribly exhausted, headed straight for her bed, intending to prepare for the night.
"I really thought you’d be sleeping at the 3RM," Lucas finally said, a slight smirk forming on his lips as he glanced up from his bowl of noodles, his gaze now lingering on Olive.
"And why should I?" Olive replied bluntly, rolling her eyes in frustration as she continued to set up her study area. "It’s not like I don’t have my own dorm."
"To stay with Aiden, of course. You stayed at his house the other day despite having a dorm."Lucas replied with a smirk but Okive jist decided to ignore him.
"I thought you cared more about your studies," Lucas said, raising an eyebrow. "Winning a scholarship to study at any college of your choice is impressive, but if you start slipping up, you could lose it. You need to prove you’re worth their investment."
Olive stopped what she was doing and sighed, turning to him. "I missed one class, Lucas. Don’t act like I’m skipping every lecture. Besides, why do you think I’m doing a night study session? To catch up on what I missed today."
Lucas, now standing and moving closer to Olive’s desk, didn’t seem convinced. "You might catch up on some content, but it’s not the same as being there. You missed the teacher’s explanation, and that can make a big difference, especially with how complex the topic was today."
"I’ll watch some YouTube videos and figure it out," Olive responded, her voice serious. She sat down, crossing her arms over her chest with a triumphant smirk. "Now, if you don’t mind, I need to study."
Lucas leaned on her desk, his eyes never leaving hers. "You really think watching a few videos will do the trick? The topic was tricky even for those of us who were there. I’ll explain it to you."
Olive’s eyes widened, startled by how close he was. She could feel his breath on her cheek as he leaned toward her. Her pulse quickened, and she swallowed hard, struggling to maintain her composure. "Can you just... back off a bit? You don’t need to be this close to teach me."
Lucas chuckled, his tone teasing. "Get your mind out of the gutter, Olive. Focus on the lesson." He gently poked her forehead, making her frown and rub the spot, annoyed. But before she could retort, Lucas had already started explaining the topic, not giving her a chance to vent.
Olive tried her best to focus on his explanation, but the closeness of his face to hers made it nearly impossible. Her gaze kept drifting to his lips, her heart racing faster with every second that passed. Why is my heart beating so fast? she thought to herself as she forced herself to look away from him. It’s just Lucas! Focus Olive!
"So... do you understand or you want me to go again?" Lucas asked, his voice low, as he turned his face toward hers, their lips mere inches apart. "I agree I’m very bad at teaching but I might explain again if you want" he added, his voice low and seductive, his warm breath brushing over her face.
Olive quickly turned her head away, her face heating up. "You’re doing this on purpose, aren’t you?" she accused, trying to regain her composure.
"Doing what?" Lucas asked, raising an eyebrow, feigning confusion. "I’m asking if you get the explanation. Or do you need me to go over it again?"
"You..." Olive began, turning back toward him but soon turned to face him again, but before she could finish her sentence, their lips brushed together accidentally. Olive’s eyes widened in shock, her body freezing as Lucas, too, stood still for a moment. Then, to her surprise, he deepened the kiss, pulling her closer as his hand cupped the back of her neck.
What the hell is happening? Olive screamed inwardly, but she found herself unable to pull away. Instead, she responded, her body betraying her mind as she returned the kiss, her heart thundering in her chest. The kiss was electrifying, igniting something deep within her that she couldn’t ignore.
Lucas’s fingers traced gentle patterns on her skin, sending shivers down her spine. Olive’s mind raced, but her body wouldn’t allow her to stop.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Olive managed to break the kiss, pulling away from Lucas, her face flushed a deep shade of pink. She avoided his gaze, her heart still racing. "That’s... enough for tonight, I guess," she stammered, hastily getting up and hopping onto her bed, pulling her blanket over her, hoping that would shield her from him and from her own feelings.
But just as she thought she’d escaped, she felt the blanket being pulled off her. Before she could protest, Lucas was lying next to her in bed.
"What are you doing Lucas?!" Olive exclaimed, her eyes wide with shock. She tried to push him off, but Lucas pinned her hands above her head, his body hovering over hers.
"Something I can’t help but do," Lucas whispered, his gaze intense as it locked with hers. He didn’t wait for a response and claimed her lips again, kissing her passionately. Olive’s body tensed, but she couldn’t resist. He was stronger, and despite her initial reluctance, she soon found herself kissing him back with the same intensity.

The golden rays of the morning sun filtered through the windows of Belmont High School, illuminating the bustling campus as students went about their daily routines.
"What’s up with you this morning? You’ve been smiling non-stop," Lara remarked, her voice breaking through Olive’s whirlwind of thoughts.
"Yeah, something exciting must’ve happened," Mark chimed in, casting a curious glance at Olive."Just spill the tea now."
Caught off guard, Olive shifted her gaze to the right, where Lucas sat, supposedly studying. But judging by the smile playing on his lips, he wasn’t concentrating on his books. Lara and Mark followed her gaze, their eyes widening in suspicion.
"What the heck happened last night?" Lara demanded, her tone dripping with curiosity. "You’ve both been smiling since this morning like you won a lottery."
"It’s nothing!" Olive protested, clearing her throat and trying to hide her embarrassment.
Mark raised an eyebrow. "It’s obviously something. You two have been acting weird all morning."
Olive’s cheeks flushed as she shook her head. "Really, it’s nothing," she insisted, her voice sounding unconvincing.
Lucas, still smiling, didn’t bother to look up from his book.
Lara leaned in closer, her voice low and teasing. "Did you two...?"
Olive’s eyes darted to Lucas, who was now watching her with amusement dancing in his eyes.
"Nothing happened, Lara," Olive repeated, but her face betrayed her, flushing a deeper shade of red.

Meanwhile, Jessica, Peace, Anabella, and Henry made their way to their secret meeting spot, where their customers were waiting. As they neared the location, they pulled black masks over their faces.
Aiden, had followed them out of the school building, keeping a safe distance, he observed the group from far. He watched as they entered the abandoned toilet, their faces hidden behind masks. Just as they entered, Aiden quickly moved closer and hid by the window where he began peeping from.
Inside, the dingy bathroom revealed itself as a makeshift hub, its walls covered in graffiti, the stalls broken, and a cracked mirror hanging loosely on the wall. The air was thick with the smell of decay and something else Aiden couldn’t quite place.
Rachael, Jessica, Peace, Anabella, and Henry quickly removed their masks once inside, revealing a well-organized space. A hidden compartment in the wall slid open, exposing stacks of cash, mysterious bags of substances, and sleek devices scattered across a makeshift table in the center of the room.
"Where are they? I hate it when people waste my time," Jessica complained, her face twisted in irritation.
"Calm down," Rachael replied smoothly. "They’re just being careful. They don’t want to draw attention, so we have to wait till they arrive."
"Let get into position. They shouldn’t see our faces when they arrive and If they don’t show soon, we’ll find others to deliver to." Henry added, with seriousness etched in his tone while the others nodded their heads in agreement.
Aiden narrowed his eyes. ’What the hell are these bastards up to?’
