Chapter 105: Clash Of The Classes.

Lara’s eyes locked onto Anabella’s, her mind racing with a mix of annoyance and curiosity. Why did Anabella want to sit next to her?

"I’m not moving," Lara said firmly, crossing her arms over her chest.

Anabella’s expression turned icy, her eyes narrowing into slits. "You’ll do as I say, or you’ll regret it," she hissed, her voice low but menacing.

Olive, sensing the tension, placed a reassuring hand on Lara’s arm. "Hey, it’s okay, Lara before turning her gaze to Anabella. "Are you trying to sit with me, the scholarship student, today? Why? Are you starting to get addicted to diseases?"

"Just shut it, okay? You can’t tell me where to sit or not. I want to sit here, so she should move," Anabella snapped angrily.

Henry, who had been quietly observing the exchange, chimed in, "Yeah, Anabella, why do you need to sit here? What are you up to exactly?"

Anabella’s gaze shifted to Henry, her expression twisting into a sneer. "Mind your own business, Henry. This doesn’t concern you."

Mr. James, the English teacher, cleared his throat, intervening before the situation escalated further. "Alright, alright, let’s settle down. Anabella, you can sit somewhere else. We don’t need any disruptions in class."

Anabella’s face reddened with anger, but she seemed to be calculating her next move. With a huff, she spun around and stalked off to an empty seat on the other side of the classroom, where two girls; one with short black hair and the other with long red-dyed hair sat. Both were adorned with makeup and expensive jewelries.

The class lasted for forty minutes before Mr James decided to round up.

"Alright, students. Make sure you study more on today’s topic. I’ll forward the assignment in the group chat," Mr. James said before making his way out of the classroom.

Anabella then walked up to Lara. "You actually decided to go against me. Now watch how I’m going to deal with you," she said with a smirk before walking out of the classroom with Lucas and Aiden. The room became noisy the moment the mighty couple stepped out and other students began leaving after.

"Just ignore her, okay?" Mark assured Lara as he approached her. "She knows about your family background. That’s why she’s doing this," he added, gently grazing Lara’s face.

"So it’s true. You’re actually dating this scholarship student. I thought Anabella was lying when she told me about your relationship with this... thing," the girl with short black hair snapped as she stormed towards Mark and Lara.

Instead of replying to her, Mark kept his gaze on Lara. "See you later, baby," he said, walking out of the classroom, leaving the short-haired girl dumbfounded.

The black-haired girl looked at Lara with so much hatred and disdain that Lara could feel it. She then stormed away to meet the red-haired girl who was waiting for her.

"Hi, Peace!" Henry greeted as he moved towards the black-haired girl, who quickly moved away from him. He then turned to the red-haired girl. "And Rachel. Nice to meet you both."

"And it’s quite unfortunate to meet you," Peace barked, rolling her eyes in disgust. "What do you want, poor kid?"

"Come on! You shouldn’t treat me that way. I just want to be friends with you both. That shouldn’t be a problem, should it?" Henry asked, smiling, which only further irritated the girls.

"Friends?!" Peace yelled, her face contorted with anger. "Is this riff-raff perhaps drunk?"

"Maybe. He seems like it," Rachel replied with a light chuckle.

"Hi, baby!" A tall guy with long black hair walked up to Rachel and planted a kiss on her cheek. "I’m sorry I couldn’t pick you up from the airport to school. I had to quickly attend to something important."

"Ohhh... You got a boyfriend," Henry commented, causing the trio to throw him an irritated look.

"What? What does he want?" the long-haired guy asked, his eyebrows raised in curiosity. "Do you want to f**k my girlfriend or what?" he added with a smirk.

"Come on, Michael. He’s not in Rachel’s league. He’s just a scholarship student trying to kiss up to the rich," Peace chimed in with a smirk as she led Michael and Rachel out of the classroom. "Bye, loser! You should always know your league before you approach someone, or you’ll always be disgraced," she added before walking out.

Lara and Olive burst into laughter the moment Peace, Rachel, and Michael left the classroom.

"He’s just a scholarship student trying to kiss up to the rich," Lara mimicked Peace’s words and actions.

"So, now that Peace and Rachel have disgraced you, is your next catch Anna? I’m curious to see who she is and what her personality is like," Olive teased, still laughing. "I want to see how you’re going to be disgraced by her too."

"You guys should stop it. It’s not funny," Henry said, settling down in a chair in front of Olive and Lara. "They’re both like that because they’re Anabella’s friends. And just so you know, I’m not giving up on those two. It’s either Peace or Rachel. One of them will be mine," he added with determination.

"What a pity! You must be addicted to insults. Mind you, Peace seems fiercer than Rachel, and Rachel already has a boyfriend, so stop with your nonsense and focus on your studies," Olive barked with seriousness.

"Fierce or not? Boyfriend or not? Do I look like I care? I’m making one of those girls mine, and that’s final. Just watch me," Henry declared with a determined expression, causing Olive and Lara to shake their heads in disbelief.

"Let’s go get some fresh air, Lara. Henry’s gone crazy, and I don’t want to stay here any longer before he bites me," Olive said as she stood up, and she and Lara made their way out of the classroom, leaving Henry behind.

Henry, on the other hand, decided to look for Peace and Rachel. Fortunately for him, he spotted Rachel standing alone outside the school building.

"Hey!" Henry greeted as he moved closer to her. "Are you the only one standing here?" he asked, nervously glancing around.

"You better get going before my boyfriend and friend come back," Rachel warned. "I’m not interested in being friends with you."

"Oh, come on. We both know your relationship with your boyfriend isn’t as happy as you both pretend it to be," Henry pressed, noticing the shock on Rachel’s face. He knew he had hit a nerve. "Just give me your digit. We can meet outside of school. I mean, why not? The school allows us to go out now, but we have to be back before curfew."

Rachel smirked as she glared at Henry. "I really don’t want you to get beaten by Michael," she said, taking Henry’s phone and typing in her number. "You should probably come to a party at my house then. It’s for the rich kids’ welcome party for the new term. I might spare you an invitation letter," she added seductively, handing his phone back to him.

"Okay, miss! I’ll be there," Henry replied, biting his lip seductively before walking away as he saw Michael and Peace approaching from afar.
