Chapter 340: Chapter 340

When his sister was wrongfully accused, how could he not rush over? He arrived at the school in less than ten minutes, giving the security guard at the gate quite a scare.

The guard was about to reprimand him, but upon recognizing Chasel, who had been at the school just a few days ago, he quickly put on his friendliest smile and bent over, saying, "Chasel, you’re here. Please, this way. You can park your car anywhere at the gate. No worries, just as long as it’s convenient for you."

Even if Chasel parked right in front of his guard booth, he wouldn’t mind. After all, it’s Chasel!

"Sorry, I’ll just park for a bit and be on my way," Chasel said. He wanted to find a parking spot, but all his thoughts were on his sister now. He wanted to get there as soon as possible to avenge her.

Rosemary, who was in extracurricular activities, occasionally glanced toward Myrna, clearly sensing something amiss.

Even Joyce noticed. She whispered to Rosemary, "Rose, look, Myrna seems to be arguing with someone. Should we go over and help?"

Rosemary responded, "No need."

A person from the Ministry of State Security could easily handle a few students. Besides, Myrna was not someone to be trifled with.

"I’m just worried that Myrna will be bullied. She’s too innocent," Mya said while warming up, glancing in their direction. "Four of them picking on Myrna, aren’t they ashamed?"

"Let’s wait for a bit; we’ll be done in ten minutes," Kelly checked her watch. The day’s extracurricular activity was about to end.

Meanwhile, Delia was still questioning Myrna: "Can you tell us what’s going on? If Rosemary isn’t the adopted daughter of the Collins family, why is she called Rosemary? Why did she move into the Collins family? And why would Serena lie to me?"

Just then, Serena arrived and saw from a distance that Delia was talking to Myrna.

She instantly had a bad feeling. ’Damn! Delia must have blabbed something she shouldn’t have.’

No wonder Myrna sounded so angry on the phone earlier—she wanted to confront her.

She was about to make her escape when Delia spotted her and said, "Serena! Over here!"

Everyone’s gaze turned toward Serena, who almost choked. ’Damn it.’

Myrna also stood up, obviously seeing through Serena’s intentions.

As Serena walked forward, she was trying to think of a way out when she pretended to stagger, rubbing her forehead while quickly holding onto a tree trunk.

"Serena, are you okay? Is it the heat? Did you get heatstroke?" Delia quickly ran over to her, offering her support. "Sit down for a bit? I’ll put my outfit on the grass for you. You like cleanliness, so sit on my clothes."

"Water," Serena feigned dizziness. "I need water."

"Water? We don’t have any here. Wait a minute, I’ll go buy some from the supermarket," Delia’s attention was suddenly diverted, and she was about to go get water.

"I want to drink water now. I’m really thirsty. Can you help me walk over there?"

Delia: "Can you walk?"

"I can hold on for a bit," Serena replied, then looked at Myrna and said, "Sorry, Myrna, I’m not feeling well. I’ll come find you later."

"People with heatstroke have a pale complexion, excessive sweating, and a high body temperature. But I don’t see any of those symptoms in you. So spill it, what’s going on? Did you tell our classmates that Rose was able to go to school because she got financial support from the Collins family and that she scored full marks because of the Collins family’s support? Is that it?"

Before Serena could answer, Myrna added, "So Rose got adopted by the Collins family because she’s sweet-talking, is that it?"

Delia stood aside, her head lowered with a hint of remorse. "I’m sorry, Serena. I didn’t mean to let it slip. It’s just that she was defending Rosemary at the beginning, which really ticked me off, so I blurted it out. But honestly, I think we should stop covering for Rosemary. After all, she’s been bullying you like crazy. It’s high time everyone knew her true colors."

Serena thought to herself, ’Unbelievable! If she wanted to blab, couldn’t she pick someone else besides Myrna to spill her guts to?’

Delia: "I didn’t know she was your family. My bad."

Seeing Delia like this, Serena could only fume inwardly. On the outside, though, she remained calm. "We’ll talk when I get back. I’ve got to go grab some water now."

"You still plan on playing dumb?" Myrna clutched her wrist, preventing her from leaving. "Today, you have to clear things up about Rosemary in front of everyone, or this drama won’t end."

"Myrna, you’re hurting me," Serena grimaced in pain.

"Let go of her. Serena is already feeling unwell; stop holding her," Delia quickly intervened, seeing that Myrna showed no signs of letting go.

"Are you putting on a show? How come I never noticed you were such a drama queen before?" Myrna sneered, releasing her grip.

Unexpectedly, Serena fell into the nearby grass, her expression one of intense pain. "Myrna, how could you do this to me?"

"Serena, are you okay?" Delia quickly squatted down to help her up. "Myrna, you’ve crossed the line! How could you push your boyfriend’s sister? Do you treat Serena like this at home too?"

"Delia, don’t blame Myrna. I’m not feeling well and have lost my balance. It’s not her fault."

"Serena, you’re too kind. I get it now. At your home, Myrna and Rosemary are in cahoots, aren’t they? They team up to bully you, right?"

Delia suspected as much and felt even more unjust toward Serena. That’s why Myrna suddenly jumped to Rosemary’s defense. So, they were birds of a feather!

Serena shook her head, looking innocent. "Could you help me to your dorm room to rest? I’m feeling dizzy. I hit my head when I fell down."

Then a worried voice rang out. "Serena, what happened?"

Serena turned around to see Chasel. Tears immediately welled up in her eyes. "Chasel, you’re here."

This was perfect. She didn’t even have to make an effort to let Chasel witness this scene. There was no way Myrna could talk her way out of this. She was Chasel’s little sister in his heart! Chasel would definitely stand up for her!

"Perfect timing. You’re Serena’s brother, right? Your girlfriend just pushed Serena over. Serena hit her head. She said she’s not feeling well and wants to rest, but your girlfriend won’t stop haranguing her."

Chasel glanced at Myrna. Just as Myrna was about to say something, several people rushed over.

"That’s sheer nonsense. Myrna has clearly let go. Serena was just putting on an act and deliberately fell."

That was Kelly’s voice.

Upon seeing her, Serena’s face immediately turned sour. ’What was she doing here, meddling?’

"I saw it too. The moment Myrna let go, Serena threw herself into the bushes. She even got the direction of her fall wrong."

Joyce also stepped forward to back up Myrna.
