Chapter 275: Chapter 275

At first, she pleaded earnestly, but as her patience wore thin, a hint of resentment began to show in her eyes.

"I’ve treated you like family. That’s why I’ve been backing down and compromising! I’m asking you one last time: will you help me?"

Grace was also riled up. "Are you threatening me? Let me tell you," she began.

Before Grace could finish, Olga suddenly grabbed the old lady’s hair, her face distorted with rage. "You old bat, I’ve been polite to you all along. Do you think you’re all that? Let me tell you, you have to help me today whether you like it or not! Or else you’ll regret it!!"

"Let go of me!" Perhaps not expecting Olga to be so audacious, Grace was thoroughly enraged but couldn’t break free from Olga’s grip. She was like a tiny chicken being held up, completely powerless.

With one hand clutching Grace’s hair, Olga slapped her face with the other! The slap echoed loudly in the quiet hospital room.

All the guests were shocked. They couldn’t believe that the same Olga who was crying her eyes out a moment ago had turned into a completely different person the next! How could she treat a sick old lady so brutally?

Even Attlee and Yolanda couldn’t believe it. Just the night before, the three of them were thrown out of the hospital room by the old lady. As they reached the hallway, Olga suddenly claimed she had a great idea to get the old lady to help. So they let her go back to the room to try while they waited in the car for her.

But to their surprise, she went back to the room to use violence!

"You old hag, if it weren’t for Attlee, I would have offed you a long time ago! Instead of being grateful, you’re being ungrateful! You act all high and mighty in front of me, and people might think you’re really something! Ungrateful!"

With that, Olga forcefully pushed the old lady away. Grace hit the bedhead with her back, her whole body writhing in pain. "Help," she gasped.

"You old witch, still want to call for help? Go ahead, let’s see if you can!" Olga covered Grace’s mouth and nose tightly. Grace was struggling to breathe.

"How does it feel to suffocate? I’m asking you one last time: will you help or not?"

The surveillance camera only caught Grace’s painful struggle on the bed and Olga’s distorted face. Grace was too weak to break free from her daughter-in-law’s grip. The suffocating feeling was giving her heart a great shock. For a moment, she thought she was going to die!

Almost instinctively, she reached for the service bell, but Olga noticed and slapped her hand away. "You old hag, it seems like you haven’t had enough!" Olga moved the service bell out of reach and slapped Grace again.

Dealing with Grace was like dealing with a defenseless child, and she didn’t even need to break a sweat.

Grace, seeing stars from the slap and gasping for breath, instinctively reached for the phone under her pillow. Olga instantly noticed her move. "Are you trying to call Rosemary? You’re a sneaky one! You’re full of tricks!"

Olga tried to grab the phone, but Grace wouldn’t let her. In their struggle, Grace, frantic and angry, was pushed again, her head hitting the bed railing hard. Olga finally snatched the phone and held it up, grinning triumphantly. "You want this?"

Grace was so sapped of strength she couldn’t even stand. Staying in her fallen pose, she panted heavily for a while before struggling to her feet. She wobbled and reached out, trying to get her phone back.

But Olga? No way she was giving it back. She stepped back, laughing even more brazenly. "You want it? Tough luck!"

Grace was pissed. She had barely managed to stand on one foot when Olga figured out her plan. "You can barely move, and think you will get help? Do you think you can even get out the door? If it weren’t for your money, I would have put you in the grave ages ago!"

Grace was still trying, her other foot barely touching the ground, when she heard Olga’s threatening warning. "Listen up, I’m running out of patience. Tomorrow, you’re getting the folks at Solterra’s Will Depository to change your will in front of me, transferring all your assets to my name. Got it?"

Grace ignored her, finally standing on both feet, about to take a step forward. Olga reached out, easily pushing her back onto the bed. "You heard me, right? Are you deaf, old lady?"

Olga even grabbed Grace’s ear. Grace was in pain. "Let go," she pleaded.

But Olga didn’t. She got a kick out of seeing Grace in pain. With her ear being tugged, the pain from hitting her head on the bed railing returned. She started to gasp for air.

Seeing Grace clutch her chest, Olga sneered, "That trick won’t work on me!" This old lady could only play dead in front of Attlee. Not with her, no way!

"Did you hear me?" Olga still held her ear, threatening her.

Grace was in so much pain, she curled up like a shivering rabbit being held by its ear, completely defenseless.

Seeing Grace panting heavily with a flushed face, eyes fixed ahead, Olga realized something was wrong. She let go, and Grace immediately collapsed onto the bed, curling up even more.

"You can’t scare me. I won’t fall for that."

Grace’s throat felt like it was being strangled by the hand of a demon. She wanted to breathe fresh air, but the oxygen in the room seemed to thin out no matter how hard she tried.

"Don’t you dare try to pin this on me! Even if you plan to kick the bucket, you better put my name on your properties first!"

Seeing Grace struggling on the bed, Olga sensed something was off. Just as she was about to leave, she saw two nurses coming this way. Scared, Olga quickly closed the door. Grace, on the bed, heard the noise outside and tried to call for help, but she couldn’t make a sound.

She didn’t even have the energy to breathe, let alone call for help!

Finally, as the nurses’ footsteps grew fainter, she fell into utter despair. At this time, the nurses would be checking the rooms one by one. It would take a while before they got to her!

After the nurses left, Olga quickly made her exit, afraid of being held accountable.

Left behind in the room was the old lady’s helplessness and loneliness. She tried several times to reach the call bell but failed. She saw the phone Olga had dropped but fell off the bed trying to reach it.

Finally, when the nurses arrived, they found the old lady unconscious on the floor and quickly called a doctor. But it was too late!

The video ended there, leaving the audience of over 600 in the hall in stunned silence. No one expected Grace to have been treated this way.

Attlee stared dumbfounded at Olga. "How dare you!"

"Attlee, let me explain," Olga pleaded.
