Chapter 221: Chapter 221

David glanced at his watch. Holy smokes, it was late. Didn’t Romeo know the meaning of time?

His little sister was still just a kid, why was she coming home so late?

As the clock struck nine, Romeo’s car suddenly pulled up in front of the villa. David saw it and immediately rushed over with joy..

His little sister was home. She was finally back.

As soon as Rosemary got out of the car, she saw David looking at her with anticipation and warmly calling her Rose.

She was a bit puzzled, what was he expecting? Could it be?

"I didn’t bring you any late–night snacks." Rosemary stated honestly.

"No worries, I’m not hungry. I don’t eat late–night snacks." David asked with a smiling face, "Did you have fun today?" "Very fun."

"Were you bullied by anyone?

"No."

With Romeo’s protection, she was safe and sound.

"That’s good, as long as you’re happy." David patted her head, what a good kid, so cute and adorable..

"You’re her brother." Romeo didn’t like this display of affection.

"Rose is such a good girl, what’s wrong with me patting her and complimenting her?" David couldn’t believe that Romeo had hogged all of Rose’s time today and wouldn’t even let him touch her hair. What

kind of logic was this? Where were the manners?

"Let’s go in." Rosemary said and turned to Romeo, "Drive safe."

"Okay." Romeo also patted her head, surprised that she reminded him to drive safely, such a good and cute girl.

"Romeo, get your hand off her."

"Rose is such a good girl, such a cutie, what’s wrong with me patting her and complimenting her?"

David didn’t expect Romeo to mimic his tone, which made him even more furious.

"I’ll call you when I get home." Romeo looked at Rosemary, his eyes full of affection.

Seeing this mushy scene, David immediately stepped in between them, blocking their line of sight,

"What call! You guys have been chatting all day, isn’t that enough? Rose needs to rest."

Romeo seemed oblivious to David’s presence. He was taller than David, and his gaze fell on Rosemary,

"See you tomorrow."

"See what? Tomorrow it’s my turn." David watched as Romeo got in the car, unable to hold back,

"Tomorrow I’m taking Rose shopping. You don’t need to come."

He finally had a couple of days off. If Rose was taken away by Romeo, how would he get to show off?

"David." Romeo suddenly rolled down the window, revealing a handsome face.

"What?" David asked impatiently.

"A $10 million endorsement deal, are you in or out tomorrow?"

The one from McMllian Corporation?

But considering Rosemary, David didn’t hesitate to firmly refuse, "I’m out."

"$30 million."

"Romeo, don’t talk to me about money,1,"

"$100 million."

David immediately leaned towards the car window to ask, "What time does it start?"

Romeo gave a slight smile, "From nine in the morning till nine at night."

"The whole day?"

This cunning person was willing to spend money to buy his entire day, all just to keep him from accompanying Rosemary. It was really outrageous.

"But if you finish the shoot early, you can leave early."

"Really? You said it yourself." David finished, smiling at Rosemary, "Rose, I’ll earn some extra pocket money for you tomorrow, and take you out the day after, be good, okay?"

Rosemary was at a loss for words.

"You really don’t need to work your butt off, I’m loaded." After saying this, Rosemary added, "I’ve got more than enough.".

"Rose, listen to me, sweetheart. Money you can’t use should be socked away. Life’s a long haul and there will always be expenses. It’s always good to be prepared." David added, patting her head with a grin, "I don’t feel worn out at all. Don’t worry about me."

As they stepped through the grand entrance of Reflections Villa, Rosemary took notice of David’s dapper outfit. "You look really sharp today," she commented.

"Really? You like it, Rose? Then I’ll wear it just for you every day."

Rosemary was speechless. That was not necessary.

In the living room.

When Serena descended the stairs, she casually noticed a plethora of beautifully wrapped snacks on the table and was tempted to rip one open.

As soon as David walked in and spotted her, he rushed over to stop her, "Hold up, Serena. Those snacks are for Rose."

Serena froze, snack in hand.

David snatched the snack from her and laughed, "Didn’t I buy you a bunch last time? You said you couldn’t finish them and wanted to share with your friends. These ones are for Rose."

Serena chuckled awkwardly. "It’s just a snack, you’re too uptight."

"You know how hard it is to get this brand."

This brand catered exclusively to foreign royalty. Even wealthy individuals couldn’t lay hands on it. Only someone like David could personally secure a few flavors. "Rose, have some cookies. They’re custom–made for the royal family. I heard the princess loves these."

Just as David was about to hand Rosemary the opened package, Louisa sauntered down the stairs.

"Cookies have too much sugar. What if Rose breaks out?" As a woman, Louisa knew full well how much girls cared about their appearance. A single pimple would be a major disaster,

"So, Rose, do you want some?" David offered the other snacks to Rosemary as if presenting treasure.

Louisa glanced over, casually remarking, "You see, you don’t know your own sister well enough. Rose doesn’t actually like these flavors."

"Really? Well, how about this? All girls love macarons, right?" David pulled out a box of attractively colored macarons.

Rosemary smiled gently, "You don’t have to go to all this trouble. I’ll like anything you give me."

At this, David was over the moon. He scooped up all the snacks from the table into his arms, "Then I’ll take these to your room. You can eat them at your leisure. Let me know which flavors you like and I’ll

get more for you."

"Thank you, David."

David loved it when she called him by his name, her voice soft and sweet. He couldn’t resist asking,

"Rose, what did you just call me? I didn’t catch it because of the wind."

"David," Rosemary obediently repeated.

"You’re such a good girl. Go to your room and think about anything else you might like and I’ll get it for you."

"Thank you."

"There you go thanking me again. No need to be so formal with family."

Listening to all this made Serena seethe with anger. She found an excuse to leave the room.

As soon as she entered her room, she remembered she had left her phone on the table while grabbing the snacks. As she was heading back downstairs to fetch it, she heard Louisa’s voice.

"Rose, this is your allowance." Louisa stuffed a bank card into Rosemary’s pocket.

Rosemary pulled it out, "Why are you giving me money again?"
