Chapter 202 - 202 202 The Surprise Attack Part Two
202: Chapter 202 The Surprise Attack (Part Two) 202: Chapter 202 The Surprise Attack (Part Two) Two weapons collided, sparks flying everywhere!
Su Mo controlled the Black Steel Envoy with a fierce jolt, flinging it open!
However, the red mecha in front of him leveraged the force to flip backward and land not far away.
Before Su Mo could voice his questions, the red Second Generation Agile Type Mecha charged at him with incredible speed.
Its hands wielding the alloy spurs moved swiftly, each strike aimed at different vital points on Su Mo’s body.
Su Mo’s heart also skipped a beat as he incessantly raised his chain gun to block.
His mecha kept retreating.
The speed of the adversary’s attacks was so fast that Su Mo could barely see them, and the angles were extremely tricky.
Crack!
Su Mo was momentarily inattentive, and his left chest was nicked.
However, fortunately, the Iron Messenger’s armor was very thick.
So it only left a small mark and there was no substantial damage.
At the moment Su Mo was hit, a somewhat neurotic woman’s laughter came from within the red mecha.
“Ha ha!”
Su Mo’s frown deepened as he continued to retreat, trying to create distance for enough buffer time.
Unfortunately, his opponent did not afford him the chance.
The red mecha in front of him clung to Su Mo like a relentless disease, the alloy spurs in its hands striking like a violent storm.
“One strike, two strikes…”
The Black Steel Envoy’s entire body was marked with one scar after another.
Su Mo was not panicked by this as he was well aware that the Black Steel Envoy lacked agility and was at a disadvantage against such dexterous mechas.
Not to mention, the opponent’s skills were exceptional, so it was no surprise to be suppressed.
Of course, Su Mo had no intention of sitting ducks.
Even if the Black Steel Envoy had many flaws, it also had its strengths.
Thus, when Su Mo pretended to swing his black chain gun to block, it was swept aside by his opponent, leaving his chest wide open.
As expected, the red mecha let out an excited laugh, and its alloy spur thrust towards Su Mo’s neck.
“Die!”
“Not necessarily!”
Just then, Su Mo raised his mecha’s left hand, grabbing the wrist of the mecha that was wielding the alloy spur, and then pulled it over harshly.
A fierce kick landed on the mecha’s body and sent it flying away.
In an instant, the red mecha, like a cannonball, crashed into a building.
While Su Mo’s attack did not stop.
As it was kicked away, he fiercely flung his chain gun into the building as well.
Su Mo then rushed forward in his mecha.
However, unfortunately, when Su Mo approached the front of the building, he found it eerily empty.
The other side of the building had been smashed open with a hole; the adversary must have escaped from the side the moment they had the chance.
“Ran away?”
Su Mo remained silent for a while, then drove his mecha back.
He quickly dug a hole, placing Dan Dan and her grandfather’s ashes inside.
Afterward, he opened the cockpit, took out the photo, and gently placed it on top.
“May you live in a peaceful era in the next life.”
He then stood up and buried it.
Su Mo observed a moment of silence on the spot, then looked up at the sky and sighed with emotion.
“I wonder if grandpa is doing well in heaven?”
After a long while, he drove his mecha, with a heavy heart, away from the city.
Just as Su Mo was about to leave the city, he felt something.
He turned his head to look to the right, and on top of a distant building, a vivid red mecha sat, watching him steadfastly like a vulture, yet not daring to come close.
Su Mo didn’t pay her any attention, simply turning to drive the mecha away.
If he had had an agile mecha at his disposal, Su Mo would have fought her to the death, annihilating her within the city.
But what he had now was a heavy mecha, and he simply couldn’t catch her if she decided to run.
Similarly, inside the cockpit of the red mecha, a very beautiful woman with fair skin, long black hair, and a somewhat neurotic expression stared intensely at Su Mo’s departing figure.
She emitted a neurotic laugh.
“Hehe, you can’t run away, I’ll catch you.”
She looked as though she had just spotted an interesting toy!
At that moment, several Green Shield Mechas swiftly approached, led by a captain who asked respectfully.
“Miss, the target has been killed, should we gather forces to encircle and eliminate that person?”
“No need, that’s my prey.
Whoever dares to interfere, I’ll slaughter them!”
The neurotic woman turned her head and cheerfully said to her subordinates.
Hearing this, the subordinates couldn’t help but shiver, knowing their young miss better than anyone; she never joked.

After a long while, Su Mo returned to the valley within the Biochemical Base.
Lan Xi and the others were idly yawning when Su Mo arrived in his Mecha.
“Boss, you’re back!”
Sun Duoxiang and the others immediately perked up and went over to greet him.
“Any updates?”
Su Mo asked.
“Don’t worry, boss, this place is very hidden, you can’t see anyone around for half a day,” Sun Duoxiang assured, thumping his chest.
Su Mo then placed a stone emitting a green fluorescent light in front of the group and asked Lan Xi.
“Do you recognize this thing?”
Lan Xi and the others curiously gathered around, observed it carefully, and shook their heads in turn, “Don’t recognize it, but it must be something valuable.”
“This thing can glow; it’s probably radioactive, so it’s best to put it in a box.”
Lan Xi pulled out a sealed container from her backpack.
“Right, then let’s call this expedition done.
I need to go back to the guild to maintain and repair the Mecha.
Everyone should log off and rest; as for finding a buyer, that task is for Sun Duoxiang.”
Su Mo pondered for a moment before speaking.
“No problem, leave it to me.
But boss, leaving such a huge monster corpse here isn’t ideal.
Maybe you could spare some effort and stuff it back into the base?”
Sun Duoxiang suggested.
“Alright!”
Su Mo thought for a moment; until he had decided how to deal with the corpse, this was indeed a good suggestion.
So he forcefully stuffed the Type III General Level Resentment Snake into the base, also camouflaging the entrance.
When needed, he would drag it back out.
After finishing this task, Su Mo said to Lan Xi and the others.
“I’m leaving first, contact me offline if anything comes up!”
“Wait!
Big brother.”
Sun Duoxiang suddenly called out to Su Mo again.
Su Mo looked at Sun Duoxiang with confusion and asked, “What’s up now?”
“Big brother, I haven’t returned this Single Soldier Mechanical Armor to you yet.”
Sun Duoxiang said, beginning to remove the equipment from his body.
“What for?
Keep it for yourselves, that’s your equipment from now on.”
“Thank you so much, big brother, but in that case, it’s even more the reason to take it off.
If our guild members see us with such good armor, we won’t be able to explain ourselves, and we might even have it confiscated.”
Sun Duoxiang swiftly removed the equipment from his body.
