Chapter 565: Chapter 515: Any Objections? (Two in One)_2 Chapter 565: Chapter 515: Any Objections? (Two in One)_2 Roger spread his hands and smiled at Yulia, “I didn’t do anything.”

“I just wanted to give him a chance to become great.” As he spoke, he pressed harder with his foot, and the man screamed in agony. Soon, the curses turned into pleas for mercy.

“Let me go, I was just talking nonsense.”

Others couldn’t feel it, but the man closest to Roger could clearly sense the all-encompassing oppression, and clouds of death hung over his head–he felt he could die at any moment.

“Forget about it, he’s not worth it!”

Goway suddenly spoke up; she knew that Roger’s job resulted in his hands being stained with blood, but he rarely killed someone over a mere quarrel.

Roger looked up at Goway.

“He’s not worth it.”

“But for you, it’s worth it.”

A layer of moisture gleamed in Goway’s eyes, her pupils rippled like lake waters–an expression rarely seen on the always haughty Goway.

Roger felt that if goodwill could be used to unlock new moves,

then at that moment, he might have unlocked at least ten.

“Get lost!”

Roger, in good spirits, lifted his foot and kicked the man lying on the ground away. The kick seemed neither too light nor too heavy, but Roger believed that the man would pay dearly for his previous malicious words.

He watched Yulia, who was hiding behind the others.

That woman was very cautious; she understood Goway and knew full well that as long as she held back and only used words to provoke Goway, the girl, no matter how furious, would not harm her clan members.

“That’s the truth I wanted to tell everyone, and now I’m leaving this place,” Goway glanced at Emily.

“If anyone wants to join me, please stand up now.”

Each face there was incredibly familiar, although some had become strangers at this moment, but there were others who had been her companions, especially Emily and the others, who would soon face oppression from the family just as she recently had.

“Me!” Emily was the first to stand up.

“And me!”

“Count me in!” Scattered voices rang out.

Roger looked around; he noticed that the vast majority were those who, like Emily, had suffered under Yulia’s persecution.

Not long ago, Tamara attacked the assembly area, but she wasted too much time in the conference room, killing a large number of high-ranking members and leaving quickly after damaging the area, only to be defeated by Roger soon after.

So the gathering place, though now a picture of ruin, didn’t actually have too many casualties.

In comparison, those willing to leave with Goway were few.

After looking around, Roger suddenly realized that these people, despite their trials and lack of strength, could become the first group of Hunter Apprentices after establishing the Demon Hunter Base.

The ability to continue the lineage, the Secret Blood Family still had its merits; these stranger faces would soon become the core force in the building of the Hunter Base.

This was an unexpected surprise.

Everything is difficult at the beginning. While the selection of the Hunter Base is important, the Demonic Hunters are the core of the heritage. Solving the initial personnel issue and then nurturing them to grow and expand their fame is what will bring a steady stream of Transcendents to the Hunter Base.

“Behave yourselves.”

Seeing no response, Goway jumped down from the rock and scanned Yulia with an icy glance.

“That Valley of Heroes…” Roger quietly reminded Goway.

She shook her head, “Forget it, Grace was right; this is no longer the place where I once lived.”

“That valley can’t contain Grace’s soul, I understand now, where she’s buried doesn’t matter.”

“Let’s go, we’re leaving this place.”

Roger looked at Yulia who was hiding behind the crowd, and a thought suddenly crossed his mind; if he let Uma appear now and shoot Yulia’s head off,

that might make for a good scene.

But after pondering, Roger felt that he should teach this woman a lesson first.

“Snap!”

With a willful motion, he instantly appeared beside Yulia. Since this woman was not Goway’s mother, Roger was less constrained in his actions.

He controlled his strength, but his speed was astoundingly fast. The sound of a slap echoed, and the woman’s cheek swelled at a visible rate.

“You should use that mouth for something else.”

Roger snorted coldly, subtly channeling a surge of power into her.

Goway armored herself with a tough exterior, but her heart remained soft. If the same situation had occurred with Amanda, Yulia would likely have been burned to death by now.

Just then, a blinding light burst from a distant tower.

Bilbo looked up with respect at the figure emerging from the light.

It was a strong man dressed in golden armor, wearing a bull horn helmet.

Taurus.

The tall man stepped out of light and shadow, yet slightly sidestepped to make space, an indifferent voice emanating from within.

“How much of a failure was the previous Knights, that even their own forces would rebel, and now, there’s even a division?”

“Ridiculous.”

“Are the people of this lowly world also lowly?”

The light dissipated, revealing Judith’s spiteful face, with Sergei shrugging helplessly by her side.

“To be honest, I thought you would send someone else from the Zodiac over.”

“They are helping me locate that Green fellow. Besides, didn’t you say it? We should find some fun.”

Seeing the several figures that appeared within the column of light, Roger’s pupils narrowed slightly; he could naturally tell that the last two to appear were both 4th-tier Transcendents.

“The depth of the Privy Council…”

“Just lost two, and sent another two?”

Bang!

Three figures dropped from the sky.

“So, the so-called Secret Blood Family’s strength is this weak.”

Judith looked around, “A lowly world is a lowly world after all; over there, any ordinary person is a Transcendent, but here…”

“Tsk tsk.”

“Judith, don’t talk nonsense like that outside,” Sergei shook his head, cutting his companion off.

“Over there… ordinary people… Transcendent?”

Roger felt his heart leap, the brief dialogue revealing much information.

“What’s there to fear?” Judith waved her hand dismissively.

Facing Judith’s loose lips, Sergei didn’t want to say more. Such a trivial matter could be handled easily by dispatching two third-tiers. If it weren’t for Judith’s boredom, he wouldn’t have followed her here.

The most important thing was recently, Judith had suffered a loss at the hands of Kun, and he feared this woman would go crazy and mess things up.

“Can someone tell me what’s going on?”

Judith asked casually.

Upon hearing her words, Taurus stepped forward and roughly reached for Yulia.

Yulia opened her mouth, but found her tongue uncontrollably twirling in her mouth, unable to make any meaningful words. She looked at Taurus anxiously, her eyes filled with pleading.

“It’s that man, they want to take someone from our family!”

Bilbo’s voice came from afar. It was only now that he had rushed from near the high tower to join the group, and everyone’s expressions changed upon hearing his words.

A few of the youths who stood behind Goway bit their teeth and slipped away quietly.

“Emily…”

Someone tugged at the girl’s sleeve, but Emily’s eyes were filled with resolve.

“If you want to leave, go ahead, I’d rather die here!”

“So it was you?”

A hint of savagery flashed across Taurus’s face. On the chest of his golden armor was a bright Heart Guard Mirror. As he moved, gold light radiated from it, and the power in his body surged.

“Kneel!”

Taurus’s voice boomed like thunder, causing the members of the Secret Blood Family who were closer to turn pale, the force reaching the few standing next to Goway as well.

“You could be a bit quieter.”

“Snap!”

Roger stepped forward, grasping Taurus’s hand.

“I’m going to take my friends away from here.”

“Ah!”

Taurus’s large body shook as he thunderously knelt before Roger.

His gaze passed over Taurus, looking at Judith standing behind, but immediately, Roger distinguished the expression in Judith’s eyes.

Contempt and arrogance…

He knew that expression all too well, shook his head, and rid his mind of the last thought of peaceful communication. Roger placed his hand on Taurus’s shoulder and stated each word clearly.

“If you have any objections, please keep them to yourself.”
