Chapter 544: Chapter 505: Master, you’re so evil (Two in one) Chapter 544: Chapter 505: Master, you’re so evil (Two in one) To be honest, at this moment, Roger was really afraid of Grace spitting out some explosive news, but fortunately, Grace just smiled.
“I understand Goway; she always puts up a stubborn front, tougher-mouthed than anyone else.”
Roger nodded in agreement.
“The decline of the Secret Blood Family is inevitable. Now that you two have confirmed your relationship, take her away from that invisible cage. You deserve a better life.”
“Many things, if you don’t touch them, can be as if they never happened. This isn’t escaping; it’s a form of self-protection.”
Roger knew Grace was hinting at something, but he didn’t want to delve into the secrets of the Secret Blood Family. In a sense, leaving there was only beneficial for Goway.
However, there was one person…
A face emerged in Roger’s mind.
Tamara.
The situation was utterly chaotic at the time, and he hadn’t seen Tamara when he left, but from what Roger knew about that woman…
If she were alive, she would definitely return to where the Secret Blood Family was located. His eyes shimmering, Roger decided not to discuss this matter with Goway.
He nodded at Grace.
“Don’t worry, I’ll handle all of this.”
At the same time, he made a certain decision in his heart.
After ending the conversation with Grace, the two returned to the forest, where Roger saw Goway with tear-streaked cheeks. He didn’t know what Anna had said to her to cause such a big fluctuation in her emotions.
“Spend more time with Anna,” Goway instructed Roger, “Her experiences are really…”
Because of Grace’s situation, Goway decided not to leave for the time being, and since Anna couldn’t conveniently appear in the real world, she also decided to stay on the island.
Roger checked Anna’s physical condition and learned from her what had happened.
“Gaharad and the Sword of Destiny.”
Roger thought of Uma and decided that he should discuss with her when he had a chance to see if he could get some help.
After all, the battle between him and Green was only a matter of time.
And this time, Roger wanted to take the initiative into his own hands.
After leaving there, Roger entered another Fairytale Manuscript. Amanda was still in slumber, and feeling the energy fluctuations enveloping his body, Roger guessed that her awakening was not far off.
Through Penetration, he entered the Cursed Cabin, where the entire space was vibrating, the earth was breathing as if alive, and the changes here could be felt every moment.
When Roger found Uma, she, draped in sparse pieces of cloth, surprisingly flung herself into Roger’s arms for the first time.
“Thank heaven, you finally showed up!”
Uma had become nearly transparent, her energy almost drained, weak to the extreme.
“What’s going on?”
“That’s what I should be asking you!” Uma spoke weakly. “Get me out of here quick. I don’t know what’s wrong with this space; it’s crazily devouring everything around it.”
“If you were any later, the entire space would have completely assimilated me.”
With a thought, Roger activated certain permissions and then took Uma into a room inside the Shadow Cottage.
Once there, the absorption of Uma ceased immediately, and she collapsed, not caring about her appearance, onto the floor.
To tell the truth, Uma’s current state, coupled with her disheveled eyes and hair, did have a kind of unique charm.
But rather than Uma, Roger was more concerned about her infiltration with Gaharad.
“No wonder I always felt like there was something missing in that woman; she was merely part of some ritual.”
“As for what you mentioned, I can only try to see.”
Uma regained a bit of strength and got up from the ground.
“The expansion of the entire space has cut off my control over that woman. In a sense, she is not dead, and maybe my control over her will have a qualitative improvement.”
She shook her head.
“But not now, I need to recover my energy.”
“That’s simple.”
Roger nodded.
He looked at Uma, “I think it’s necessary to find you a new body in the real world.”
“Are you interested in archery?” Roger asked.
“Wow…”
Uma gave a strange smile, “That woman.”
She immediately guessed the new body Roger was preparing for her.
Biting her lower lip, her eyes sparkled with seductive allure, “Dear master, I’m beginning to like you more and more.”
“To be honest, you’re really quite adorably evil.”
“After killing their son, you’re even going after the mother now.”
She stepped forward, her fingers resting on Roger’s shoulder.
“Tell me, what do you plan to… do once I’ve taken over her body?”
Roger expressionlessly brushed off Uma’s fingers from his shoulder.
“You seem to be in good spirits.”
Roger hadn’t expected Uma’s imagination to be so vivid, but…
He quickly banished a ridiculous image from his mind and asserted that all these choices were but letting nature take its course.
Hmm… this was certainly not a result he had meticulously designed.
While waiting for the Shadow Cottage to be altered, Roger headed to the gathering place of the Secret Blood Family.
But just then, someone arrived there before him.
Creak.
In the meeting hall of the enclave, the heavy wooden door was pushed open from the outside, and the sounds inside the hall abruptly ceased.
It must be noted that the door being pushed open was no ordinary wooden door.
