Demon Hunter and His Cabin -
Chapter 390 - Chapter 390 Chapter 390 Youve done enough
Chapter 390: Chapter 390: You’ve done enough! Chapter 390: Chapter 390: You’ve done enough! “Crash bang!”
Noises of a fight echoed from the manor ahead, mingled with Henrik’s screams of agony. By the time Roger reached the front lawn of the manor, he saw a naked figure crash through a window.
Tumbling through the air, the figure drew a beautiful arc before landing in the fountain ahead.
“What happened? What’s going on?”
Roger feigned deep concern and hurried over.
“Good heavens, Henrik, what happened to you?”
“You’re badly hurt; who did this to you?”
Henrik lay in the pool covered in bruises and cuts, his face one big bruise. Seeing Roger, his tense expression relaxed slightly.
“Damn it, damn it all!” Henrik grumbled as he stood up, holding his waist.
“Was it Claudia? She’s gone too far, even if you’re a bit lacking, she can’t do this to you. No, I must go talk to her!”
Roger pretended to turn and head upstairs.
“Ah, hold on, it wasn’t Claudia; it was her brother, Dilio.”
“I really didn’t expect Dilio to be that kind of person.”
Henrik’s face paled, and his eyes showed a glimmer of fear, “Can you imagine, Roger, waking up in the morning to find a burly, chest-haired man in your arms?!”
“Henrik held his head in his hands, agitatedly tousling his hair.”
Unable to tell if he was nauseated from a blow to his stomach or the memory, Henrik turned and retched suddenly, then began to vomit.
Roger’s cheeks twitched.
“You didn’t see the person in your arms when you woke up, did you?”
He tentatively asked, “Didn’t you… do something?”
“Ugh…”
Henrik didn’t answer, only threw up with increased ferocity.
The incident that morning in bed might just become a secret.
Honestly, Roger wasn’t the slightest bit curious.
It was just a pity he hadn’t seen it with his own eyes.
After vomiting, Henrik wiped his mouth in the pool.
Er… Roger said nothing, perhaps Henrik had kissed something that morning more intolerable than vomit.
“What’s the deal with Dilio?”
Henrik looked outraged, “When did he come back? Sneaking into my bed without my knowledge.”
“Okay, even if you walked into the wrong room…”
Henrik’s face turned red as his eyebrows knitted together, “But what did you mean by stripping?”
“Let’s not talk about it!”
The subject made him retch again, “I’m going to take a shower!”
Then he dashed away hastily.
“Hey, Henrik, remember that I warned you once…”
Henrik waved his hand dismissively, “A brother is a brother, a sister is a sister, I know the difference!”
“Forget it, for Claudia’s sake, I’ll forgive him this time.”
Roger crossed his arms, unable to suppress a smirk, “Can you really tell the difference between sister and brother?”
He sauntered upstairs. Dilio was getting dressed in his room and stayed silent upon seeing Roger.
“You didn’t do this on purpose, did you?” Roger asked, slightly amused.
Dilio ran his hands through his shoulder-length hair, “Honestly, I don’t even know why it happened.”
“I changed my original training course, and I’ve been making quick progress lately. This kind of identity ‘transformation’ was supposed to be fully under control.”
“Maybe there really is something wrong with my body.”
“Did you absorb and transform your own desires?” Roger asked.
“It’s complex, totally different from what I anticipated.”
“What if you and Henrik took a break for a while?” Roger ventured, “This could be considered a freak incident, but if something happens while you’re deepening your interactions…”
Imagining the scenario sent shivers down Roger’s spine.
If such a thing were to happen, Henrik would likely give up morning exercises for good.
Come to think of it, maybe it wasn’t such a bad thing.
“No need, it was just a minor accident. It’s probably just a problem with my recent training, a slight adjustment should see me through smoothly.”
“Cough, cough.”
Roger hesitated but felt obliged to remind him, “Surely you won’t do something to Henrik again now, would you?”
“After all, between men and men…”
Roger closed his mouth.
“I’m perfectly normal!” Claudia’s eyebrows shot up.
Seeing some feminine gestures from Claudia, Roger felt a chill run down his spine, “What on earth has happened to this guy?”
“Whatever, as long as you’re happy.”
Seeing that persuading was futile, Roger shrugged and turned to leave.
It wasn’t long before Roger saw Henrik and Claudia dressed up and leaving the estate hand in hand.
Just when he thought this was all just a passing episode.
Early morning.
Henrik’s heart-wrenching screams came again.
“Damn it!”
“Really, damn it!!”
“Damn it, why are you here again?”
“Wait, wait, what are you going to do to me?”
“Umm…umm umm…”
“Don’t come any closer, stay away from me!”
“Crackling and popping!”
By the time Roger arrived, what he saw was Henrik flying out of the window once more.
“Life can’t go on like this!”
Henrik looked at Roger, “Didn’t you say you wanted to go on a mission with me?”
“What mission? Let’s get going immediately!”
Roger, with hands crossed over his chest, answered leisurely, “No need, the mission is easy, I can handle it by myself.”
“The estate needs you…”
“Dilio needs you.”
Seeing Dilio again, or should I say Claudia?
His mood seemed very unstable, the fluctuations in his aura were quite intense.
“There’s a serious problem with my body.”
He glanced at Roger, “I think you were right, I do need to take some time away from Henrik.”
Roger frowned and took a careful look
“Do you need my help?”
“No, it’s a problem with my own cultivation.”
“Personality and desires are in conflict, I can only make a choice.”
Nodding, Roger left the room, intending to comfort Henrik when he received an unexpected call.
“Veronia?”
Ever since they parted ways last time, Veronia had left Eld, and it had been a while since the two had seen each other.
“Roger, I’ve come across some trouble and need your help.”
“In what way?”
“Well… it’s probably related to mystical forces.”
“Where are you? I’ll come to you.”
“Engelman.” Veronia provided a detailed address as she spoke.
No sooner had he hung up the phone than Henrik popped up from somewhere.
“I didn’t mean to eavesdrop.” Henrik pointed to his ear.
“I think you might need the help of an old hunter.” He tried to puff out his chest, but collapsed again due to back pain.
“Whatever the mission is, I’m in!”
A voice came from the door, and Roger turned his head to see Goway’s figure there.
“It’s just a small favor between friends, just a small…”
“I’m going!”
Henrik and Goway said in unison.
Roger shrugged helplessly.
I’m a Demon Hunter, not a Trauma Therapist.
