Demon Hunter and His Cabin
Chapter 284 - Chapter 284 Chapter 284 Migration Penetration

Chapter 284: Chapter 284: Migration, Penetration! Chapter 284: Chapter 284: Migration, Penetration! “Splash!”

Water splashed everywhere, and after jumping into the water, Roger glanced distractedly, the Pale Blood in the Lantern was quietly pulsating.

In fact, the flame was just an external manifestation of the Pale Blood; it did not have the physical characteristics of an ordinary flame.

The burning sensation displayed on Roger’s body was merely the result of its erosion of flesh and blood.

With his diving ability fully utilized, Roger navigated like a fish, effortlessly finding the crevice at the bottom of the water.

Roger was not sure if the recent collapse could have killed Abraham, but based on past experiences, that guy was very cunning and indeed powerful.

He guessed it could at most cause serious injury.

“Puff!”

Roger exhaled and broke the water’s surface with a leap.

He did not enter Old Moon City, which had fallen into a time loop, it looked like Roger’s actions last time had completely damaged the Blackstone within Old Moon City.

He now emerged in a different area of the sea, after a brief swim, a familiar fishing village came into view.

After being chased for a while, the sky had completely darkened; Roger hurried ashore and rapidly ran into the village.

The village was eerily quiet, not the quiet of peace, but the deadly silence of no life.

Some wooden houses were toppled over, and vague stains of blood could be seen on the road; Roger also saw a young man impaled by a harpoon through the jaw, pinned to the ground.

There was no fear on the young man’s face, only the numbness after being tormented; for him, death might have been a release.

“The disaster has still come.”

Roger sighed. He passed through the village and came to the beach where he had first landed. From the beach, by entering the deep sea, he could find the passage that connected to reality.

But as he sank to the seafloor, just like the first time he returned to reality, among the piles of bones, the crevice was still there, but the passage did not open.

“The time hasn’t come.”

Roger’s heart tightened, he surfaced as fast as he could. Just as he rushed back into the village, the dark sea surface exploded, and a figure burst forth from the water!

“This guy is actually not dead!”

With nowhere to dodge around him, gritting his teeth, Roger ducked into a house that was still relatively intact.

The furnishings inside the house were very familiar; a diving suit was stuffed in the corner, this was actually Old Hank’s house.

“Transfer! Penetration!”

Roger completed the full set of actions in an instant, his form flashed and vanished from the room.

His figure appeared in the Mist Hut, but before Roger could regain his composure, the Hunter’s Cabin suddenly started trembling.

“Unknown spoils of battle discovered!”

“Do you wish to hand it over?”

The large letters on the notice board almost filled his entire vision, Roger did not hesitate to choose to refuse.

What a joke!

This was something he had risked his life to obtain, the Mist Hut had already been upgraded to level 5, perhaps upgrading to level 6 might reach the limit.

For many reasons, there was no way Roger would hand over the Pale Blood he held.

At that moment, Roger also noticed a change in the Lantern in his hand.

The original Lantern was formed by condensing souls, but upon entering the Mist Hut, an unknown energy permeated it, eroding the constituent souls and transforming it into an unknown material as dark as iron.

The entire Lantern was made from three twisted faces, within which the Pale Blood burned quietly.

Roger extended his hand, strands of energy seeped out from the Lantern, and his body absorbed them.

This energy was entirely concentrated by Abraham, yet Roger’s body did not resist it.

Energy surged within him – the feeling of growing stronger at such moments was indeed intoxicating.

Snap!

A piece of skin on his arm cracked, oozing traces of blood, the pain snapped Roger back to his senses. He shook his head and placed the Lantern into the Storage Box.

“This thing is too strange, holding it I always can’t help but want to…”

Although he had entered the Mist Hut, Roger was constantly on edge; Abraham was not Julianne, he was stronger and more insane.

His brain became muddled as the side effects of the Snake Eye Potion erupted suddenly; even the energy in Pale Blood couldn’t compensate for this mental deficit.

Roger sat on the bed, quickly trying to recover his strength, hesitating whether to return to reality for a check.

Whirr whirr whirr!

Just then, the Mist Hut began to shake violently, a tremble unlike before, as if the house was being ravaged by a hurricane.

Roger’s heart sank; he knew that what he feared most had happened.

Abraham was destroying the houses outside!

Boom boom boom!

Abraham floated midair, the flesh on the previously crafted wings almost gone, his bones twisted, and the skin membrane riddled with large and small holes.

His entire being was even more wretched; he had finally absorbed Pale Blood to heal the wounds inflicted by Cassandra, but then the massive boulders in the cave buried him underground.

What pained him even more was…

The Pale Blood in his hand… was lost!

“Shameless!”

“Come out, get out here!”

Enraged, Abraham recalled how he had been badly injured in body and soul 30 years ago, hiding his identity while recovering and contending with the conflict between body and soul over the years.

It had taken countless effort for him to condense a drop of Pale Blood and to design the capture of Cassandra, using the womb of a Full Moon Peak witch along with the penetration of Black Witchcraft to cultivate a body that met his demands.

But who could have thought?

In the end, someone else benefitted!

As this thought crossed his mind, he could no longer suppress the anger in his heart and began attacking the village beneath him madly.

Black flames burned.

One after another, houses were destroyed, Abraham pumping the blood in his body, but no matter how hard he tried, the connections in the blood had been severed.

“How is this possible?”

“This is the blood I personally condensed!”

At that moment, Abraham’s gaze sharpened; almost the entire village below had been utterly destroyed, but a single wooden cabin near the seaside remained mostly intact.

There were only slight scorch marks on the surface.

Bang!

Abraham fell from the sky, crashing a fist into the roof.

The entire cabin trembled, yet it withstood his attack.

Abraham’s face lit up with pleasure, a ferocious smile on his immature face, “There really is something tricky here!”

The next moment, his palm pressed down on the roof.

Boom!

The entire wooden cabin trembled and then all the boards turned to dust.

Roger spat out blood as he was launched out amidst the cloud of dust.

“Caught you!”

The fury in Abraham’s eyes could almost set the entire sea aflame; he reached out to grab Roger by the neck.

Suppressing the surging blood in his chest and abdomen, Roger let out a bellow at the critical moment.

“Kill me, and you’ll never be able to find your ‘Lantern’!”

Abraham’s movement paused slightly, but the next second, the murderous intent in his eyes slightly subsided as he controlled the force in his palm and reached out again.

That moment of hesitation gave Roger the chance to fight for his life.

He pushed his palm flat, and the Alder Dharma Seal exploded forth, the turbulent blasts hitting Abraham’s hand.

With no foothold in mid-air, Roger’s figure shot out and instantly plunged into the water.

In the depths, a gleam of light shot into the faraway crevices!
