Cassandra yelled loudly, and accompanied by her shrill voice, her breastbone crackled with friction, the skull nearly sinking into her entire chest cavity.

Roger didn’t move; he took a half step back, carefully examining Cassandra.

“Quick, do it now!”

“What’s hidden in your mind isn’t some ‘Divine Core,’ but your last trump card, isn’t it?”

“Let me guess, all your spiritual power has been sucked into your belly, the body being nurtured there is the root cause of all this, right?”

“Instead of addressing this root cause to save yourself, you’re making a sacrifice.”

Roger shook his head.

“The Voodoo Association I know is not any kind of benevolent organization, as for friendship and help? If turning one’s comrades into Voodoo Dolls and zombies also counts as care.”

Roger snorted coldly.
