Demon Hunter and His Cabin
Chapter 274 - Chapter 274 Chapter 274 Viper Steel Sword—Fang of Evil

Chapter 274: Chapter 274: Viper Steel Sword–Fang of Evil Chapter 274: Chapter 274: Viper Steel Sword–Fang of Evil Mist Hut.

Roger stood in the center of the Forging Room, and a virtual silver balance appeared before his eyes.

This was the Forging Balance used to craft weapons and armor. According to the recipe for the Viper Silver Sword, Roger placed the corresponding materials one by one on the left side of the balance, while the right side was filled with many trophies he had obtained.

The balance slowly leveled out, and besides some basic materials, Roger also added a bit of Wood Steel.

He had added some when making the Witch’s Sword to avoid detection by modern scanning equipment.

Terry was very meticulous; the materials he collected for Roger this time even included a little bit of Anti-Magic Metal.

Even a small amount of this stuff was extremely precious, and it often produced remarkable effects when facing Spellcasters.

“Start forging!”

He had no understanding of the principles and knowledge of forging at all, and although he was very interested in forging a weapon himself, starting from scratch would undoubtedly consume a lot of his time and energy.

However, the appearance of the Forging Balance solved this problem for him. As long as he had the corresponding blueprints, the Forging Balance could help Roger create weapons and tools that were perfectly suited to him.

This time, in addition to the blueprint for the Viper Sword, another blueprint appeared on the wall.

Rossos’s rib.

Roger had merely studied Henrik’s weapon a little, and the Hunter’s Cabin obtained the detailed information and provided the method of production.

If Roger could obtain the most critical raw materials, the Forging Room could also help him craft a bow blade.

The sound of metal clashing came to his ears.

The silver Forging Balance disappeared from view, and all the materials merged into a stream of light. In the stream of light, Roger seemed to see someone wielding a hammer, forging all the materials together.

This process was quite peculiar; although Roger hadn’t done anything, the proportions of the various materials and the detailed steps of production gradually flashed through his mind.

It was as if his spirit had been split in two, one part still standing in the room, while the other part participated in the entire weapon-making process under the control of an invisible force.

A sense of clarity rose in his heart; after this forging, even without the Forging Balance, Roger believed he could eventually craft the Viper Steel Sword himself after several more attempts.

Time in his mind flew by quickly, and when Roger came to his senses, the clashing sounds had ceased. He lifted his hand and found his forehead soaked with sweat, as if he had truly handcrafted a weapon.

“What a marvelous ability!”

He couldn’t speak for other weapons, but at least in the forging of the Viper Steel Sword, Roger was confident he was on the level of a master craftsman.

In the middle of the room, on the metal table, there lay a blue steel sword.

The guard extended at both ends, and the edges were incredibly sharp as if the fangs of a massive serpent were embedded in them.

Roger picked up the steel sword.

Along with the sword, a matching Sword Sheath was forged as well.

“Clang!”

The Longsword was drawn from its sheath.

Its watery blade reflected a hint of green luminescence. Having incorporated Meteorite Iron, this steel sword was quite heavy, at least more than twice the weight of those Roger had used before.

At the same time, the notice board provided detailed information about this weapon.

[Viper Steel Sword–Evil Eye]

With the incorporation of Rebirth Egg’s leg, the standard Steel Sword underwent a change, with its toxicity greatly enhanced.

[Shielding]: The Wood Steel mixed into the weapon can shield against modern electronic scanning devices.

[Anti-Magic]: The Anti-Magic Metal fused in the steel sword can interfere with and affect the Spells of Spellcasters, and there is even a certain chance to break the Spell core, rendering the corresponding Spell ineffective.

[Deadly Poison]: The amalgamation of Emerald Dust and Venom Extract makes this weapon inherently poisonous, which upon entering the bloodstream can paralyze the nerves.

[Corrosion]: The legs of the Rebirth Egg are transformed from the rib bones of the demonic bull monster, which contain a large amount of corrosive energy. This energy is wrapped within the Steel Sword.

Upon the wielder’s initiative, it can release the Steel Sword’s crafted toxins, forming an enveloping area of corrosion, or it can condense on the surface of the blade, using the corrosive nature to enhance its destructive power!

[Sharpness]: This weapon is both solid and sharp, cutting through metal like a hot knife through butter.

“What a powerful weapon!”

The weight and length were just right, and as Roger lifted the weapon in his hand, the initially smooth surface of the blade unexpectedly revealed scale-like patterns.

As his gaze shifted, these patterns appeared and disappeared intermittently, making it look as if the Steel Sword had come to life.

Swinging it a few times casually, Roger quickly got used to the Steel Sword’s length and weight.

Having acquired such a powerful weapon, Roger felt more confident about the upcoming mission.

With a thought, he returned to the real world and checked the various potions he carried. Roger steadied his mood and quietly awaited everything that was about to come.

When noon arrived, his phone vibrated with a light buzz.

“Mr. Dickinson.”

“The villa at the end of Reminisce Avenue, on the hilltop,” Dickinson’s voice came through the phone, “I’ll wait for you at the manor.”

“Once you arrive, the ceremony can begin.”

“Okay,” Roger responded and then hung up the phone.

As he descended the stairs, he dialed Henrik’s phone.

“Go to the villa at the end of Reminisce Avenue, on the hilltop. Find a hiding spot and wait until I go in before making a move depending on the situation.”

“I really hope our suspicions are wrong. Dickinson is an old-timer from the Hunters Guild, and many hunters have received his help. If he’s like Abraham, that would be too dangerous.”

“Click!”

Henrik cocked the bolt of his rifle, “I’ll try to find a suitable sniping position.”

“Drive slowly to buy me some time.”

Having descended the stairs, Roger drove towards the location Dickinson had mentioned.

It was a secluded hillock, not too high, covered with cypress trees. From afar, it displayed a lush and vibrant scene.

There was only one road up the mountain. Roger drove slowly; by now, Henrik should have climbed to a spot near the mountaintop from another direction.

He turned on the communication device hidden in his ear, and soon Henrik’s voice came through.

“I’m all set up.”

“Who would have thought there’d be a manor hidden here.”

“You’d better not use the front entrance. From my angle, I can only cover the left side of the manor.”

“Understood,” Roger acknowledged, and as his car reached halfway up the hill, an iron gate appeared in the road, which automatically opened. Roger continued upwards and soon reached the mountaintop.

From here, nearly half of Bordeaux could be seen, and what appeared before Roger was an old-fashioned manor.

Beyond the main building, there were gardens, a golf course, a swimming pool, and more–all the amenities were present.

The manor was vast, capable of hosting more than a hundred guests without feeling crowded.

Dickinson stood at the entrance of the manor with a rare smile on his face.

“Just waiting for you now.”

An impatient excitement flickered in his eyes.
