His name was Rondenis Romuteri, a member of the Romuteri Clan, which controlled Universe F954. He was in the Peak Stage of the Divinity Realm, and he was very confident in his power. Yet, he almost died from the lake’s power.

Just like the other top powers from other Universes, the Romuteri Clan also sent a few hundred of their experts to explore the palace this time. Considering that one of their own almost died just now, they all looked in the twins’ group’s direction. The anger in their expressions was obvious for everyone to see.

"What?!" Rean couldn’t care less. "He tried to throw me in the lake, so I retaliated. Would any of you let yourself become a guinea pig just like that?"

Rean recognized the man. Or, to be more specific, Rifindio did. The man was a Camazotz Bat elder, the one called Elder Zick. Back outside of the Golden Palace, it was he who went forward to talk with the experts of the other Universes.

Zick didn’t even glance at Rean. It was as if Rean didn’t exist in his eyes. Yet, he was indeed covering for Rean and his group.

"What’s the meaning of this?" Someone else stepped out of the Romuteri Clan group. In her case, she was one of the leaders of this exploration of the Golden Palace, a woman called Klotha. "Why are you covering for this ant?"

Zick faintly smiled. "If it were someone else, I wouldn’t care. However, these youngsters are members of my Universe F956. As the controlling entity of Universe F956, how could we let you do as you please under our watch? If you want to blame someone, blame the idiot who tried to sneak an attack on this little friend here. No one would have simply complied with that action."

Klotha narrowed her eyes, but she looked around. There were eight top powers in this exploration, one from each Universe. Even if she decided to fight the Camazotz Bats and could win, that would only give an advantage to the other six who were watching. If anything, the other six wanted nothing more than those two to kill each other. In the end, she gave up and ordered everyone to retreat. "I see... So be it."

Rondenis didn’t dare to go against Klotha’s orders. Although both of them are in the Peak Stage of the Divinity Realm, their positions in the clan and even their strengths were completely different. He just glanced at Rean one last time and then left with a snort. If the opportunity arrived, he would get his revenge.
