Death… And Me -
Chapter 3546: No Tracker
Chapter 3546: No Tracker
The capability to use laws at the Transition Realm, even if the Transition Realm at that point was something forced, was actually pretty mind-blowing. That meant the Celestial Supreme Palace could somehow strengthen the link between the world’s laws with the participants. That said, those who had used laws before would still be able to use them.
It also made it a lot easier to believe that Triaglia really used that place to reach the Celestial Realm and become the Universe Owner. After all, the Celestial Realm needs one to get in contact with the Celestial Laws, which the twins’ group had already perceived some present in the portrait.
"Stop with that smile, it is creeping me out," Rean complained to Roan.
"Good. Remember me to do this more often," which Roan completely refused to do.
Ignoring Rean after that, he turned back to Elsie Ranka. "Forget the bullshit about a Divinity Realm companion. They are useless. We are more than enough."
Elsie had her doubts. "Didn’t you hear your friend... err... what’s his name? Actually, what are all your names? I’ve never bothered to ask. I only know Rean."
Rean put his hands on his waist, ready to come up with a bunch of cartoon names for each one of them again. Too bad Zangeshu cut him out. "I’m Zangeshu. Then we have Kentucky, Rean, Roan, and Celis," Zangeshu said while pointing out each one of them.
Rean wanted to cry. What was wrong with the names he chose? Those were famous names, you know?
"Ahem..." Rifindio felt kind of left out. "Did you forget me?"
Zangeshu glanced at him, using his Divine Sense. ’Different from the rest of us, your name might actually be a little too sensitive due to the Supreme Palace, no? Just come up with some random name, and Rean and I will input it into your new Werdlem ID.’
’Oh!’ Rifindio nodded, turning back to Elsie and speaking some other name. "I’m Zirconio, nice to meet you."
"Your name is definitely fake, isn’t it?" Elsie couldn’t help but mention. Anyone would have noticed that. "Oh well, whatever. I’m not here to judge, and everyone has their own secrets. Now, going back to what I was saying, you said we don’t need any Divinity Realm. However, we definitely do."
She continued. "After all, the only one in the Space-Time Realm here is me. So, only I can use laws, you can’t. Besides, my laws aren’t as good as Divinity Realm ones, obviously. I will have to make up for it with my Sickle Intent. You don’t really expect me to protect you all every time a Divinity Realm expert appears, right?"
Roan shook his head. "Don’t worry, once we get there, there will be no need to protect us." In fact, they most likely would be the ones to give Elsie some help. They had been to the peak of the Divinity Realm before and even had contact with Celestial Laws. Not even her Sixth Stage of Weapon Intent would be able to make up for it.
Elsie narrowed her eyes. She came back to get some backup, but her backup didn’t seem that reliable. But then again, it was too late to give up now, and they did show they had many cards up their sleeves. "If things get out of control, don’t expect me to stake my life to save yours."
"That’s obvious," Roan couldn’t agree more. "Now, time to decide what to do with the remaining four slots."
Elsie, Rean, Roan, Kentucky, Celis, and Rifindio. These six have already decided to enter the Celestial Supreme Palace. But since the portrait gave you ten slots, they had four free.
"Zangeshu, don’t you want to come?" Rean asked him.
Zangeshu, as expected, wouldn’t spend a single second on these kinds of things if he could help it. "Not interested. I’ll stay in the Dimensional Realm. Just don’t die, because if you do, your Dimensional Realm will collapse, and I will die together."
Rean’s mouth twitched. "You aren’t worried about our lives at all, are you?"
"Master is correct, I’m not." Zangeshu gave an answer as cold as Roan’s, and Roan slightly nodded on the side.
"Tch..." Rean clicked his tongue, but didn’t say anything else. It wasn’t as if he didn’t know Zangeshu after all these years. Perhaps he would increase his training menu later on to get back at him.
Well, there was one other thing to check. Sometimes in the past, the peculiarities of the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm allowed the twins to send things in and out in locations where it wasn’t supposed to be possible. In others, they were truly completed locked. From what they understood, it all depended on the level of the spatial locks put in place.
"Nonetheless," Roan continued. "We can still sell the last four slots."
"Not gonna happen," Elsie stopped them. "Since you say you can guarantee your safety, we have no need for Divinity Realm experts. I won’t risk getting myself pursued all over the place again... even though the rewards would probably be very high..."
Roan narrowed his eyes. That was quite a big fortune in play that they might be throwing away. Too bad the owner of the portrait was indeed Elsie, not them. "Whatever."
"That reminds me," Elsie thought about the tracker issue. "This accessory you gave me only stops me from being tracked, but it doesn’t eliminate the tracker itself, is that correct?"
Rean nodded. "I thought you would ask about that at some point. That is correct, it can only stop others from finding you, it doesn’t eliminate the main reason for you to be tracked down."
Elsie pondered a bit. "Why not eliminate the tracker altogether?"
"Because there isn’t any tracker to start with," Zangeshu spoke from there. He, too, helped Rean build that accessory. "Believe us, we looked for it several times, especially when you lost consciousness. You are clean."
"Wait, no tracker? How is that po-" Elsie was just about to complete her words, but then it dawned on her. "The Werdlem Divine Stone!"
"Exactly!" Rean confirmed her words.
