"Right, all of the supernaturals who were also sent to investigate all went missing, till three days ago when three skeletons were found by a supernatural before he went missing. According to the report, it appears to be those of the first set of gangster who were sent there. Two sixteen years old and a fourteen years old"

"So, what are we waiting for?!" Kakashi slammed his hands on the table as he stood.

"I already told you, demons only comes out at night" Leo replied still maintaining his calm voice.

"But we can’t just..." Kakashi sat down feeling defeated.

"There’s nothing we can do. The light sage already have the order"

"The light sage? You mean that little kid!?" Kakashi asked, trying to make sure that charlotte was telling the truth.

"Yes, Miss Charlotte also asked me to take you along" Leo confirmed.

"So, she was actually telling the truth?. Isn’t she too young?, I mean to be placed in a position like that!?"

Leo expression changed. "What do you mean?"

"The wind sage died and the flame sage almost did!" Kakashi clenched his fist. "Don’t you think it’s wrong to use innocent children like that?"

"Look, I know you’re new here so you might not how how things work, you clearly don’t know what it means to be in this academy. In the supernatural world, you’re rank by your technique, the stronger your technique, the higher your rank"

"But what about experience, huh?!. You can’t expect twelve years old to fight demons!!!" Kakashi yelled, visibly angry by Leo’s statement.

"I get what you’re trying to say, but when you come against a demon, experience can only go so far, your strength and technique is what determines what happens next. Besides, it not like anyone is forcing them to take the position. They can reject it if they want but they accepted anyways." Leo sighed, his gaze fixed downward. " We are all here for a reason... It’s either we need the money or doing it for someone else or just homeless, I’m sure you’re here for a reason too"

Leo raised his head and stared at Kakashi, obviously waiting for a response. Kakashi recall what Ayaka said about needing money for her father medical bills and Kurumi being at the academy because she was an orphan, he is also at the academy because it was the only to make sure that Megumin gets proper treatment and find Tokah, he’s more than sure that she is out there somewhere.

"I..." Kakashi tried to speak but Leo interrupted.

"Look at the time, let’s get going" Leo stood up and Kakashi quickly followed him.

"We’re here" Kakashi and Leo stopped in front of the overhead garage door. "This might get dangerous, so you should stay behind me"

Kakashi ran to the door.

"Wait!. We don’t know what’s behind that door!"

"Sorry, I already opened it" Kakashi replied as he pulled up the door.

Leo walked in cautiously while Kakashi stayed closely behind him. The light bulbs began flickering.

"This place is giving me a horror vibe" Kakashi whispered.

They both walked far inside the warehouse before Leo pointed behind a shelf.

"Are those... Human’s skeletons?"

Kakashi walked backwards before vomiting on the floor while Leo began to take pictures.

"Why are you taking pictures?"

"It’s evidence, we were told to investigate." Leo replied. "Can’t you see this is the work of a demon?"

"I can see it alright"

"There are more skeletons than what the report says, I bet this are the second sets of gangsters who were also sent here" Leo said as he squats in front of a dried up corpse.

"Leo, I think you should see this" Kakashi called on to Leo.

"That could wait, I need more evidences"

"Just take a second and look upward, please!" Kakashi yelled.

"Okay" Leo sighed. "Maybe I shouldn’t have brought you with me, this is probably too much for you"

Leo complained as he stood up and shifted his gaze to the ceiling, the more he raised his head up the more scared he was starting to get. He finally saw what Kakashi was trying to show him and both of them stood still, too scared to move.

Leo finally opened his mouth.

"This is inhuman"

Elizabeth and her sister, Charlotte were in their dorms.

"What do you think about him?" Elizabeth, the elder sister of Charlotte said as she sat down on the couch and took a sip out of her cup of coffee.

"Wh... What do you mean?" Charlotte stuttered.

"I didn’t get to meet him when he arrived that was why I told you to welcome him. I wasn’t able to apologize for what I did when we first met" Elizabeth kept the cup and added four cubes of sugar in it and carefully stirred it. "I was being too selfish, I just wanted to find those bastards that uses children for experiments, i didn’t realize that he was also part of the experiment and I still forced him for answers. As bad as I want to solve this case, I also need to consider the fact that he had some awful memories from it and wouldn’t want to talk about it"

"It’s okay, you shouldn’t bother yourself about it" Charlotte said. "Besides, he didn’t look bother about it. I think now might be a good opportunity to ask him, we have all the time we need now’s that he’s here with us"

"Yes, you’re right. He could even help us with the investigation" Elizabeth took another sip of her coffee, dropped the cup on the table and added four cubes of sugar again before stirring it.

"Don’t you know that too much sweets isn’t good for your health?"

"It not my fault, it just too bitter"

"Why don’t we go out, we could buy ice cream instead"

"Isn’t it late already?"

"It’s not that late" Charlotte said. "It’s just eight o’clock, I’m sure some ice cream stores are still opened"
