Chapter 133: Divine Dragon

*Buzz!*

That whole planet heard an intense humming. Then, the Mannaz looked to the sky and saw a white sun rising, its light covering everything.

Up in the sky, Darian felt it and got excited. ’Her Bloodline makes my white power way easier to use... let’s call this White Mastery.’

Darian could’ve done the same on his own, but since his power was only 30% of his true body, it would’ve been weaker. With his real body, he might’ve come close. But with Niara using it, it was definitely more effective.

She waved, hyped up. This transformation was very different from the other two. It was weaker for combat compared to those, but... the White Dragon Armor turned her into the Risen’s nemesis.

Every enemy below felt their powers freeze inside them.

Right then, the center of the Dragoness started to glow in multiple colors.

Darian turned his elemental control to max.

’You’re almost dying—let me help a bit...’ he murmured.

It was almost as if Gaia had heard his words.

Immediately, all the elements—the planet’s lifeblood—flowed to him. Darian was her last hope for survival. Gaia’s consciousness sensed that and didn’t hesitate.

The world around the white sun became covered in multicolored sparkles.

All the Mannaz looked up, astonished. The sight was magical and divine. Those with Dragon Bloodlines could instinctively feel it... at the center of it all was... was...

"Divine Dragon!"

A young Dragoness shouted, tears in her eyes. Niara’s Bloodline, in that moment, was connected to the heavenly laws, identical to the true Primordial Dragon’s. Combined with the white power, it created a divine and awe-inspiring scene for everyone.

Unfazed, Darian spat, ’Disappear.’

With the Risen weakened, an elemental cataclysm was unleashed on the land. It was like a destructive avalanche.

It only took a few seconds.

Only the Risen were hit—all of them shattered and vanished forever.

The Mannaz watched in shock.

The light faded.

Silence fell over the land.

*Flap, Flap*

The only sound was the soft flutter of wings.

Everyone turned to see the Dragoness—bathed in divine white—landing gently on the ground.

She took a deep breath...

Before all those staring eyes, her scales gradually lost the white... returning to their usual green.

From a tear in her clothes, the little slug scurried up to her shoulder.

Niara turned to the people. "Gather ’round. I’m here to help."

All the Mannaz from the three tribes heard her, but it took them a few seconds to react.

Once her normal appearance returned, they recognized Niara. At the same time, they saw the slug and were surprised to realize she was still a Summoner.

Those with Dragon Bloodlines... they all trembled strangely.

After just a few seconds, they ran toward her—and when they were still several meters away, they dropped to their knees.

Niara and Darian’s eyes went wide.

’What the hell...’

...

"Obey the Divine Dragon!"

An older, scale-covered Mannaz roared. His whole body shook with excitement.

’Shit... I guess we can’t stay low-key anymore...’ Darian murmured, stunned.

Everyone on the planet was quickly summoned. They moved as fast as they could, stopping several meters away from Niara, staring at her with curiosity and respect.

Darian saw a young Dragoness with pinkish wings staring at Niara with tears streaming down her face.

The slug focused on her and asked, "What’s this talk about a Divine Dragon?"

The young woman nearly jumped and bowed, "The Divine Lady... those were... the words of our ancestor, the Divine Dragon."

Darian turned to Niara. She looked just as confused as he felt.

Niara had been locked up to "train" from a very young age. She’d spent almost no time among the Mannaz of her Bloodline. She basically knew nothing about the legends or anything related to the Divine Dragon beyond what was common knowledge.

Both that Primordial Dragon and Enfield had created the Mannaz ages ago, and had left some final words before dying. How they died—or if they even truly died—was a mystery. But the tribes preserved those legends and sayings.

"What did the ancestor say?" Darian asked directly.

The young Dragoness looked up and quickly nodded, "One day... Heaven’s Will will send a messenger. Then, the Divine Dragon will be reborn and guide the worthy. No Risen can touch the Divine Dragon; its power will wipe out evil from the universe!"

Everyone with Dragon Blood was in ecstasy. Darian let out a heavy sigh.

Heaven’s Will... The Primordial Beasts definitely sensed that entity and knew it. Meru had told him that her father couldn’t act directly, so he’d waited for an opportunity—an opportunity that turned out to be Darian.

A messenger of Heaven’s Will was exactly what that entity once was. Now, Darian inherited that purpose... along with all the responsibilities.

’No use staying quiet anymore,’ Darian thought to Niara, who was still trying to process all this.

She nodded and stopped thinking. Darian would handle it. She straightened her chest and looked at all the kneeling Dragon-blooded Mannaz.

They trembled under her gaze. They were absolutely certain she was the second coming of the Divine Dragon.

The slug snorted.

No one could see it, but infinite black threads were moving toward him. He absorbed every last bit of karma from the Risen.

Then, as before, he drew in their weapons.

’You’ve got sharp senses. Pick a thousand that look solid and have potential.’ Darian said, and Niara nodded, excited.

She flapped her wings and flew up a bit to see the nearly ten million people around her. Then, she examined each one carefully.

Meanwhile... everyone below was frozen, watching the thousands of corrupted weapons float up into the sky around that entity.

Then, a white light purified everything, causing even the Mannaz from Enfield’s three tribes to drop to their knees.

Niara chose a thousand of them. Only a hundred were Dragon-blooded—those were far fewer in number, after all.

That young Dragoness was named their leader. Her name was Amara, and she’d failed the Summoner’s test two years ago.

Darian gave them a thousand core-embedded weapons. Then he pulled out a hundred mid-level healing potions and handed them to Amara.

She’d lead the thousand. Those potions were for her to distribute and save anyone without a weapon. That thousand would have to fight and protect as many people as possible.

Unfortunately, there weren’t enough weapons for everyone. But a thousand was a strong force to hold the front line and protect those behind.

"Take care of everything. Goodbye." Niara said, waving to Amara, who stared without blinking.

Then, Niara used her emblem to move through the inscription.

They quickly arrived at another planet under attack.

’Maybe this is a mistake,’ Darian murmured. ’But there’s no turning back now. At least we’ll save as many people as possible. I’ll deal with the fallout later.’

Niara nodded and glanced at the slug, smiling softly. He met that smile and felt a warmth spread through his body—but he quickly snorted and shoved the feeling aside. ’Let’s speed this up. We only have two days.’

Then, the second coming of the Divine Dragon appeared on other planets. Darian did the same—and thankfully, every Gaia from those planets helped them.

Now he understood better. The Gaias were also connected to the heavenly laws. They definitely knew who Darian was and that he was there to save them.

They stayed only a few hours on each planet before moving on.

Three days passed, and they assembled an armed, prepared army of almost 100,000. Of course, not all planets were as small as that first one—some had way more Mannaz, and they ended up selecting over ten thousand on just one planet.

Niara was beaming. You couldn’t even begin to count how many lives they’d saved. And also... how many fanatic worshippers they now had...
