Chapter 92: Still in College?

Mel chuckled, seeing his reaction. "We should order first. You must be hungry, right?" Mel handed him the menu.

After they ordered food, they started talking about many things. And of course, Mel was curious as to why Stefan came out of his nest to take the job, she casually asked him. "Stefan, why did you suddenly appear around country X? Was there an important case that got you out of your nest?"

Stefan’s expression slightly changed, but only for a moment, he decided to tell her, somehow he feels trust in her idol. "My Queen, it’s actually a secret...." he paused.

Mel smiled, then she said, "It’s okay, Stefan. You don’t need to explain it to me... I can understand." She could find out what Stefan was doing by hacking his device, but now she didn’t have much time. Currently, her time is quite busy taking care of the MT Group and preparations for marriage.

In less than four months, she will be a married woman. Mel shook her head lightly couldn’t believe it.

Stefan, who saw Mel shaking her head, suddenly felt depressed. He was worried that his idol would be angry with him for not telling the truth. He immediately said, "This job is a bit confidential because it’s a task from the Russian Military, but you’re the QUEEN. After all, you can easily find out if you want." He laughed then continued... "And it seems this case is also under investigation in country X. I thought you should know about this case too, right?" Stefan guessed because Queen is currently in country X, she must be working here too.

Mel is silent and does not answer his question.

Stefan adds, "A few months ago, there was sabotage data in three countries at the same time in Russia, China, and X, and all these cases are related." Mel nodded, and she immediately knew where Stefan was talking.

"Did you join in the search for Ghost’s whereabouts?" She asked quietly.

Stefan froze. ’How could she know?’

Mel chuckled at his reaction, and she knew what he was thinking... "Of course I know Stefan. Did you forget I’m Queen...!"

"Hahaha... you’re right." He nodded and said, "Yeah, I happened to be assigned by the Russian military to find traces of Ghost."

"Stefan... you shouldn’t have told me. Because this must be top secret." Stefan widened his eyes and shut his mouth tightly. He realized his negligence.

Mel smiled and invited him to eat because the steak they ordered had just been delivered by the waiter.

"Queen, you look young. I thought you were old lady...." Stefan said after they finished their lunch.

Mel just laughed..."I’m also confused as to why people in the community think I’m old?" she nodded slowly.

"Looks like we’re the same age?"

"Hmm.. you can say so."

"Hahaha... or maybe you’re younger than me? Are you still in college?" Stefan asked.

She wanted it that way, still young, like a college girl. But unfortunately, soon she will be 22 years old. While the young man in front of her was only 18 years old.

’So unfair. Stefan is so young while I was getting old.’ She could only complain in her heart.

Mel ignores Stefan’s question. She doesn’t trust this innocent man, so she stays alert. "Stefan, let’s pretend this meeting never happened." She said while looking straight into Stefan’s blue eyes... "Don’t ever tell anyone that you met me today." She said in a pressing tone.

Stefan was stunned when he saw Queen’s brown eyes looking at him. He said with a firm tone, "Queen, I will never tell anyone. Do not worry."

Mel nodded in satisfaction.

She drinks her sparkling water, then asks him again, "So, are you going to stay here or go straight back to Russia?"

"I’m going back to Russia. The other team is currently heading to the airport." He said, then glanced at his watch. "My plane leaves in 2 hours."

After they talked about the gossip in the hacker communities worldwide, Stefan finally said goodbye to Mel because he had to go to the airport immediately.

Mel was about to leave the VIP room, her cell phone vibrated, and Anna’s name appeared on the screen.

"Anna, what’s up?"

"Mel, where are you? Can we meet?" Anna asked and sounded sad.

Mel raises her eyebrow. "What happened?" she asked curiously. "I’m at Double Six Restaurant."

Anna groaned... "I thought you were at the apartment," she said sounded disappointed.

"Are you okay? Sound like you’re sad. Did something happen to you?" Mel panicked a little. "Tell me, Anna, maybe I can help you."

Mel can hear her best friend take a deep breath... "Mel, I’m really out of my luck. I have just heard from a very reliable source that the prince of W Group, Andrew William is engaged, and will soon marry his fiancé." Anna looks disappointed, and she sounds desperate.

Hearing what Anna just said makes Mel almost choked.

’Damn it, Anna! I thought you were in trouble.’ She cursed Anna in her heart.

Mel laughed a little at Anna’s groaning on the other end.

She made a note in her mind to gather all her friends to introduce them to Andrew and tell them that she will be married on her birthday. So, they can prepare gifts from now on.

Mel smiles while thinking about that.

"Mel... do you hear me?" shouted Anna.

"Hmm... I heard you, Anna. I thought you had an accident or something. It turned out to be Andrew William’s gossip!!" Mel chuckled, pretending not to care.

She adds... "Anna, are you coming to the Game launching tomorrow, right?" Anna said yes. Mel continued... "Good. Tomorrow after launching, we can go to dinner together with the others. I will announce something important to all of you." She decided to tell them as soon as possible, so Anna wouldn’t be more depressed by Andrew’s news.

"WHAT ANNOUNCEMENT?" Anna shouted again, "Mel, tell me now, why bothered to wait until tomorrow, huh?"

"No!"

Anna sounded annoyed.

But Mel ignored her and hung up.

She had to hurry to go home, to continue packing all her valuable items and other things. She will leave her stuff at Hiro’s house for a while. And this weekend, she will move temporarily to the Green Forest before her penthouse is finished.
