Next morning.

After taking her breakfast, she sits on the sofa in the living room and turns on her TV.

She saw in the news about a gala dinner at one luxury hotel in Los Angeles, and a familiar figure appeared on the screen.

She saw a tall man with low-cut black hair, a broad chest, and slim legs. She gulped to see that god-like man standing dignity in the corner. He is her man, Andrew William.

’Gosh! Why does he appear on TV now? Make me miss him more.’

She could only stare at him on the TV to let go of the longing, but her mood instantly changed because she could see someone approaching her man!!

Huh? Who is that dark blonde, curvy and beautiful woman? Why is she holding Andrew’s arm?

Mel eyes wide open, she gasps.

Do they know each other? Why did Andrew talk to her?

"Oh no, no no... damn it!!" She cursed when the news moved to another topic.

And instantly, her mood was falling down and dropped to zero. She now feels jealous to know Andrew seems close to an international movie star.

With her bad mood, she prepares herself to go out. She has an appointment with Hiro. They will visit the MT Group building.

At 10 am, Hiro arrived at the lobby of her apartment. Today they will inspect Mel’s condominium progress on the 25th floor and her office on the 24th floor.

"Boss, what happened to you? Why do you look so gloomy today? Isn’t Mr. Andrew William coming back today? " Hiro asks. He was a little surprised to see her face turn dark like she had not slept all night.

"Mmm... nothing, I just feel a little bit tired." She was still sulking with the morning news she saw.

For the remainder of the way, Hiro didn’t bother her.

As soon as they arrived on the 25th floor, Mel’s condominium, her mood immediately lit up when she looked at the progress. Hiro was right. She could move here in a month.

Even though it’s still very messy, she already sees the interior design as she wants, a Mid-century modern style combined with Scandinavian style.

After they quickly look at her future house, they go down to see her office through an exclusive stair directly from her place. The entire 24th floor is allocated as her office.

She will have a spacious computer room, a playroom to create her advanced gadget, and a meeting room to meet PICs in the company. There is also a sizeable lounge-like lounge at a 5-star hotel to receive her close friends. The lounge will have a mini kitchen, library, large bathroom, and other stuff she needs to live in her office. So he doesn’t have to leave the building anymore.

In this large building, she will be living with Hiro. She decides to give Hiro the entire 23rd floor for his office and house. She needs him to stay near her because Hiro will take care of everything she needs.

"Hiro, you said yesterday that the 19th to 22nd floor is also completed?" She asked when they were heading to the car park after inspecting her house.

"Yes. The CFO, COO, and MTechnology office are already done," he said while opening the car door for Mel.

Hiro Adds... "Boss, Amy will arrive next week. So she will use her new office in a new building, her office is already finished." Hiro forgot to remind her about Amy Tan, their new CFO.

Amy is their closest friend when they still live in M Country. She is one of Mel’s people who is in charge of MT Investment in a foreign land. But because MT Group recently multiplied, they called her to come to X to fill the position as CFO and as a director for Digital SoftBank.

Because now Hiro couldn’t handle so many companies at the same time.

"So fast? I thought she would come in May?"

"Boss... I’m super busy right now. I don’t think handling more companies would be wise. So I ask her to come as soon as possible." He pauses... "Or do you want to be appointed as a CEO? This will help me a lot," Hiro asks her excitedly!

Mel coughs!

"Damn you, Hiro... you tricked me, huh?" She glared at him "No... not now!" She said firmly.

Hiro chuckled. He knew it!

"When?" he asked.

"After my Birthday!"

"Really? Don’t lie...!!"

"Did I ever lie to you?" she glared at him.

"Hahaha... I’m just kidding, Boss. Oke understand."

"Hiro, make sure the progress of my place does not delay. I wish to move in next month or before my birthday."

"Yes, Boss. By the way, do you want me to drive you to your apartment or...?"

Before Mel answers him, her phone rang. There is an incoming call from Anton, her teammate at XTeam Group One.

She immediately picked up, "Anton... What’s up?"

"Mel, don’t forget, starting next Monday you will start your intensive boot training. Commander already passed me the training routine for you." He pauses because not hearing Mel say anything. "Mel, Do you hear me?"

"Hmm... I hear you. What else?"

"Do you want me to pick you up on Monday, or do you want to drive alone?"

"What time should I arrive there?"

"5 am"

"WHAAAT!!! So early?" Damn commander! That’s why he asks her to stay for a month at basecamp because she must wake up early dawn in the morning to do training. Mel heard Anton chuckling over there. She got pissed off. "Anton picked me up, why don’t you?! I can’t drive too early in the morning. You know it will take one hour to drive to the basecamp from my place, so I should wake up at least 3 or 4 in the morning? Gosh! You know I’m an owl, right? I sleep at 2 am. I can’t drive and sleep at the same time, Anton! It’s not like the team needs me because of my brawl, right? I’m here because of my brain." But Mario and Anton still don’t budge.

After like a minute of silence, Anton breaks it. "Can you ask your driver? I hear from Leader Mario now you have a driver...." He sounded unwilling to come to pick her up.

But of course, Mel can’t let him go quickly. Anton betrayed her... he told Alex she never does exercise, that’s why Alex did this special training just for her.

She really pisses off, so she will punish him now... "Sorry Anton, my driver is already old. He is 50 now. I can’t tell him to drive me early in the morning, right?" She said with a low voice that sounded miserable.
