Chapter 68: Wisdom

Mel looked at her watch. She realizes that Andrew is right. Time flew so fast when she was around him. It’s almost 12 pm.

"Then why haven’t they kicked us out yet? Is this your restaurant, and you are their boss?" Mel stopped then she laughed at her stupidity. She pats her forehead lightly because she forgets he is Andrew William, the prince of W Group, the owner of this building, and Wolfgang Steak House.

Suddenly she felt her shoulders feel so heavy.

What will happen if the public knows her identity as Andrews’s lover?

Media will be all over her, and some people might dislike or hate her and mocking her, right? People she’s trying to get back might recognize her.

Mel felt unease just thinking about it. No... no, this relationship should be kept a secret.

When they came out of the VIP room, the restaurant hall was already empty and dark. A middle-aged man with sleek black hair in a black suit approached them and escorted them to the elevator. Mel just smiled at him. She felt terrible for making the old manager working so late into midnight.

Andrew felt her worry. He tightened her grip while smiling as if he told her not to worry. "Yes, Mel, this is my restaurant."

Mel could only smile at him and answer him with her eyes.... "I know, I already guess it in my mind... you are the boss, huh!"

Andrew’s car has parked in front of the building lobby. A Chauffeur opens the car door for Mel. But then, Andrews tells his chauffeur to go home. He’s driving Mel home himself.

The driving to Mel’s apartment is fast and quiet. The traffic is nearly empty. The city has fallen to sleep. At Empire Apartment’s main lobby, Andrew’s car stopped.

They sit looking at each other and smiling. Andrew’s hand is holding hers as if he can not wanting to let her go.

Mel also felt the same feeling engulfing her. Her sense is screaming at her, asking her to take him to her apartment. But her mind tells something else, wisdom. Her mind tells her good things are coming to those who patient. And for now, her mind and wisdom are triumphs over her sense.

With all her might, Mel says, "I’ll see you tomorrow. Pick me up at 6?"

Andrew suddenly silent with his lips closed tightly. "I’d love to, but...." Andrew said.

The answer is shocking Mel so much she’s stunned and backs away a little.

"No, no, I don’t mean I don’t want to meet you. Oh my God, No. All I want to do now is be with you. It’s just that I have an appointment tomorrow in out of the country, and it’s going to be for three days, so..." Andrew is rushingly told it as he could sense her reaction.

A relieved Mel then smiles and says, "Ok, I’ll call you tomorrow before your flight then. When is your flight?"

"10 am," said Andrew, and he kisses her softly on her lips for a few seconds. He could felt both of their faces are warmer as if both are trying to control themselves. "I would love to hear your voice in the morning," says Andrew with a smile.

Then, he suddenly opens his car’s door, jumps out, runs a little to the passenger side, and within seconds opens the door for Mel.

Seeing Andrew’s gentlemen gesture, a mesmerize and blushes Mel steps out from the car, and they are smiling at each other. Andrew’s handsome and kind smile with his hazel eyes is bombarding her senses again.

She felts her face redden.

Andrew holds her hand and walks with her toward the huge lobby door. After gently kiss Mel’s forehead, he walks back to his car.

As Andrew drives away, Mel’s praying she would be as patient to wait for him.

Three days had passed since she officially dated the prince of W group, Andrew William, her first crush when she was a little girl.

They spent all those days talking over the phones in the morning and night.

And tomorrow, Mel will see and touch Andrew in person.

He will come home tomorrow.

Until now, Mel still feels like she was in a dream dating Andrew William.

She still couldn’t believe it. When they were a little, she only had followed Andrew from a distance, and as he never talked to her directly, she thought he hates her.

But, Andrew told her, from the first time they met at Will Mansion, he already felt comfortable near her, and he didn’t mind when she followed him around the mansion. Back then, he hadn’t expressed his feelings. Maybe because he didn’t even realize that the comfort he felt was his deep feeling towards her.

And when Mel suddenly left the city of J, he realized that was not only a comfortable feeling he had felt. All this time, he does like her. And he felt regretful for not being able to express his feelings when he had the chance.

He was utterly lost, then.

After that, he never felt that kind of feeling with anyone else until he saw her again at the new year’s eve party. Although he did not yet know her real identity, the feeling he had forgotten resurfaced again.

Mel felt sadness mixed with happiness when she found out all of that.

She felt sad because if only Andrew knows his feelings from the start, maybe they wouldn’t have to separate for long. She felt happy that they finally met again.

Now, everything is back on track. Mel is glad she and Andrew are officially dating.

But... For now, Mel doesn’t want other people to know they are dating. Only their closest people who know Raymond and Hiro know their relationship.

Several times Andrew convinced her to let others outside their circle know about their relationship. Still, she refused because she didn’t want to be the enemy of the young misses from many prestigious families in J town. They were after Andrew’s affection and, likely, wealth as the prince of W Group.

No... no... it would be troublesome.

All Mel wants is a quiet and peaceful time together just with Andrew, and to do that, she needs the relationship to be low-profile.
