"Thank you, uncle. Please take care of them too. Feed them and let them have some rest while I’m here...." Mel said, then she looked at Irina and Hans. "You guys, please follow Uncle Tang. After Mr. Tang, Irina and Hans leave, Mel walks into the mansion and goes straight to the back garden. She can see her grandfather chatting with uncle Robert in the pavilion near the lake from afar.

And near the pavilion, Mel could see the chefs cooking up their lunch. The looks and smell of the foods they are preparing are mouth-watering.

"Grandpa, Uncle Robert..." Mel greeted them. They immediately turned to look at her and stood up to greet her. "No need to stand up, grandpa, uncle... just sit." She said while walking fast, and she also joined them to sit.

"Where’s my father?" Mel asks Grandpa.

"He’s still in the study room. Maybe he will join us in a bit...." Grandpa said. Mel could only nod in silence when she heard that.

"Uncle Robert, how is my Grandpa’s condition?" So far, she has not received any updates about her grandfather’s condition because Uncle Robert and Hospital directly report to her father. And it seems they purposely didn’t tell her about Grandpa’s condition either, so she wouldn’t be stressed.

"Old Tanner is getting healthier. I’m positive, Old Tanner will be cancer-free soon." Uncle Robert said in an optimistic tone. Makes Mel happy to hear that.

"That’s great news, Uncle. Thank you for giving your best to healing grandpa..." Mel said with her sincere tone.

"Don’t say that. I do this not only because of you but also because of my research. Over the years, I have studied this disease. Old Tanner’s case was unfortunate, but in a way, it was beneficial to expedite my research. Because of him, my research took a huge leap. I found the best way, a new way, to heal this cancer with the least cost. And it will help many people with the same condition as your grandpa." Uncle Robert told the truth.

"Yes, Dr. Robert... My Lovely Mel is right. You really did a great job. I am very grateful to you..." Grandpa said.

It wasn’t long before Alan Tanner joined them. When Mel saw her father, she suddenly thought of her mother and made her heart tighten, and her eyes felt damp. She was about to cry and imagine her family would unite again.
