She immediately feels worried; Mother Nakayama would be like Lilly and her husband controlling her diet. Damn! Two people alone sometimes gave her a headache, and now, plus one more? She couldn’t imagine it.

"Why do you look so gloomy?" Hiro was confused by the look on her face.

She tries to divert her mind to restricting food from Mother Nakayama and the so-called healthy food she will consume. She looked at Hiro again and continued, "So tonight, your mother will stay at your apartment?" Mel asks.

"Yes. I don’t want mother to stay in a hotel alone...." Hiro said calmly, but Mel could see from his eyes something was bothering him.

"Brother Hiro, let your mother stay at my penthouse. We have plenty of room upstairs. The penthouse was empty. I haven’t lived there in a long time." Mel said.

It was a waste to leave the penthouse empty. In addition, most of the rooms can be used, and there is an open garden and a large kitchen. So, Mother Nakayama will not be bored living in this city. And there is staff to attend to her needs too.

"Are you seriously offering that?" Hiro was surprised to hear that.

"Why are you so surprised? I consider your mother is also my mother, alright! Of course, I want my mother to live in a spacious place. Your apartment is too small, besides that, it’s on the same floor as your office. So our mother won’t be able to move freely."

"Alright, Alright, sister... I will ask someone to clean the guest room upstairs. Actually, I’ve already thought about it. I feel bad for our mother to stay at my place. "My Lovely Mel, can you stop running around? You are now a pregnant woman. Stop running like a child..." Grandpa scolded his granddaughter, who still acted like a child.

"Hahaha, I’m not running. I’m just walking fast..." She laughed then led Grandpa to the sofa. While Hiro immediately said goodbye because he had to go to his office.

"Grandpa, what would you like to drink?" Mel pointed to the kitchen area where a line of coolers store her drinks and frozen food.

Grandpa Tanner looked at the kitchen area. He was stunned when he saw many unhealthy drinks and snacks on that fridge and snack cabinet. He saw his granddaughter with a frown before saying, "I can’t believe your husband is still letting you consume all of that unhealthy food and drink..."

Mel froze.

When she realized that everything in the cooler and snack cupboard was taboo for her. Now she regrets inviting her family to her office, especially Lilly. She must have been shocked to see all this.
