Chapter 344: Creates An Opportunity

After lunch, Hiro and Anna said goodbye because they were busy working on a B2 Property new mega project. This noon they had to meet a client outside the office. Meanwhile, Sam and Windy also go back to the office first.

Now there are only three of them in the room.

Mel felt her head hurt when she saw the manners of Harry and Amy beside her. They don’t seem to know each other. They were mute, only answering when asked.

"You’re going back to the office?" Mel asks them. She finally can’t hold herself. She wants to vanish from that place. Amy and Harry both nodded. Instantly a brilliant idea popped into Mel’s head. She sent a short message to Irina, who was outside.

Harry, who came late, felt terrible for having to leave earlier than Mel. He tried to chat with her about the game. But Amy, who felt awkward with Harry’s presence, immediately said goodbye.

"Amy, are you busy?" Mel pleasantly asked her.

"Yes, Boss... I have to go back now. I have a lot to do at the office. You know, I just came back from abroad, pending tasks piled up on my desk." She rolled her eyes as if to reassure Mel that she really had to leave the room.

Mel just nodded. After seeing Amy disappear at the end of the stairs, she looked at Harry.

"Harry, you must fulfill the task that I gave you..." Mel said calmly.

Harry frowned, "Boss...you see with your own eyes, right? She didn’t like me." Harry chuckled. "I mean... she is not willing to stay near me... I guess." Harry’s shoulders drooped as he finished his sentence.

"That’s just your guess. You haven’t asked Amy directly, have you?... I believed for sure this was just a misunderstanding." A playful smile appeared on Mel’s face, making Harry confused. Then Mel continued her words, "Harry, If you have the opportunity, do you want to clear up the misunderstanding with her?"

Harry frowns and doesn’t know what to say, but later, he nods and follows by saying, "Of Course I will...."

Mel laughed slightly and stood from her seat "Good Harry! While she’s around, why don’t you ask her?" She gave him a signal to follow her out of the restaurant.

"Huh! Hasn’t she gone to the office already?" Harry is confused, but he follows Mel behind.

Mel ignored his question. Instead, she said, "I want to go to my husband’s office. I suddenly miss him." Her eyes sparkled at the thought of Andrew.

Harry could only laugh at her. When they arrived at the entrance, Harry was surprised to see Amy still standing at the side of her car with an irritated look on her face. His heart tightened seeing her in that state. This is the first time Harry has seen her irritated like that.

"What happened to Amy?" Mel approaches her. Harry follows behind Mel.

Amy, upset because her car tire suddenly went flat, was surprised to hear Mel’s voice. She immediately saw Mel and said, "My car tire suddenly hit the nail. It’s like someone deliberately deflated it..."

"Maybe it’s been that way ever since. It’s just that you only realize it now," Mel said calmly. "So, what to do?"

Amy shook her head in confusion. She doesn’t know much about the city of J. All the necessities for a car and house are provided by Hiro’s assistant, Amanda. Just now, she tried to call Amanda and Hiro, but they didn’t pick up the call.

"I don’t know...I called Hiro for help, but he did not answer my call." Her face was gloomy, and she looked so confused.

Mel quietly chuckled in her heart and turned her gaze to Harry standing beside her with an expressionless face.

"Harry..." Mel called him. Harry turns to see Mel, and instantly he knows exactly what his Boss is trying to do. Sh*t!

Mel adds, "Can you help Amy? She needs to go to the office, and her car can’t be used. Can you give her a ride?" Harry’s eyes widened as if he had rejected Mel’s query.

What the freak? Why should he give Amy a ride?

Mel glared at him. This is a stupid man. She tried to create an opportunity for him, but he was too slow to react. Mel started to feel annoyed and wanted to smack his face.

"Boss... can I just ride in your car?" Amy’s voice made Mel snap out from wanting to smack Harry’s face using her eyes.

Mel turned to look at Amy. "No, you can’t." Amy was confused. Mel continued her words, "I want to meet Andrew, and the route is different from the route to the office...." She lied. Whereas earlier, she wanted to return to the MT Group to meet her uncle at B2 Property. But her plans had to be changed. She was going to the W group to meet her husband. She really misses him now.

Amy looks disappointed. She didn’t want to get in the car with Harry. This man doesn’t seem to like her. He was also silent. There was no sign of him offering her a ride. Amy decided to take a taxi instead of hitching a ride in Harry’s car and feeling awkward all the way to the office.

Before she wanted to tell Mel about her plan to call a taxi, she heard Harry speak to her. She was astonished... Harry actually says to her!?

She turned her head to see him and saw his eyes. She felt a weird feeling arise deep in her heart. After making sure her mind and body were calm, she said... "Are you really willing to give me a ride?" She asks him to make sure this is not her fantasy.

"If you want to..." Harry said in his low deep voice.

Mel speechless. How could he talk to a girl like that? And what’s with his face? He looked like he was offended by Amy’s presence.

Mel’s head suddenly hurt. She had to get out of there. Otherwise, she couldn’t help but want to slap Harry to wake him up and seize the opportunity.
