Instantly she felt sorry seeing her bodyguard in this condition. She knocks on the glass door before entering. Lara immediately stood up from her chair when she saw her "Young Lady...". She greeted her politely.

"Lara, sorry I overslept inside." She gestured to Lara to continue her morning coffee. She continued, "I’ll go upstairs. After Irina wakes up, you can rest at your place. We’ll be leaving at 9 AM." Mel said, and she left the room then went up to her penthouse on the 25th floor. She decided to take a shower first before calling her husband.

After a quick shower, she walks to her wardrobe. But before she could choose her outfit, she heard her husband’s voice on TV in her bedroom. She walked fast to the TV area.

"Husband...?" Mel’s eyes glimmered when she saw her husband’s face. "I’m sorry I forgot to call you last night. Because I fell asleep in the Playroom...." She felt guilty.

"It’s okay, wife. When I saw you sleeping in the restroom, I couldn’t bear to wake you up...so I asked Max to let you sleep. And I also told Irina to guard you..." Andrew’s eyes are glued at her appearance.

She looks so sexy, only in her bathrobe. Her black hair looked a little wet. Looked like she had just finished taking a shower. Instantly Andrew’s mind was running wild when he imagined they showered together. He felt his body heat rise. He wanted to hurry home to meet and hug her.

"So, you asked Max to show you the CCTV?" Mel laughs at her husband because lately, he’s been using Max more often than Wolf, his personal assistant. She thought about upgrading Wolf to have an advantage for hacking like Max. She will talk to Andrew when he comes back from his business trip.

"Hmm..." Andrew chuckled. "Why did you return to the Playroom? I thought you had finished your invisible shield project?"

"I did..." Mel said while sitting on the sofa. Her eyes still focused on her husband, "But last night, I did final testing." She took her backpack and took out a small gadget. The exact size as a cell phone, then she showed it to Andrew. "It’s done. I will carry this everywhere...So, husband, you don’t have to worry about me anymore if I go outside because this thing will keep me safe." Now she was ready to face Ghost or whoever wanted to mess with her.

Andrew nods while saying, "But you still have to be careful, my dear... don’t go everywhere by yourself. Irina and Lara should accompany you..." He pauses and waits for her reaction. When he sees her nod, he continues his words, "And, why do you shower so early in the morning?"

"I just feel my body itchy after working in the playroom...."

"Wife, why did you not sleep again? You still have plenty of time."

"Should I?" Mel glanced at her soft bed. Instantly her eyes felt so heavy again.

"Yes. Your meeting is at 10.00 AM, right? You can sleep for 2 hours. I will ask someone to prepare breakfast for you, so you can go after having breakfast."

"Alright then, I will sleep for one or two hours...." She walked to her bed and snuggled inside her blanket. But before Andrew turns off the connection, Mel remembers something.

"Husband... Wait!" She called him.

"Yes, what is it, dear?"

"Last night, mom almost called the doctor to check on me..."

"Why?" Andrew’s tone sounded worried. "Wife, were you sick last night?" His heart was concerned, afraid that his wife would get sick while he was in another country.

Looking at his tense face made her smile. She shook her head before saying, "No, I’m not sick. Don’t worry." Andrew felt relieved.

Mel adds, "But, mom thinks I’m pregnant..." She thought her husband would freak out with this news, but his face looked calm. Is he not happy? But later, she saw her husband laugh.

"Hahaha, Wife, how could you forget? Every time mom meets you she always says that..." Andrew said.

"You’re right." She was tired of being told that. However, this time it seemed Lilly’s prediction was correct.

"Did the doctor examine you?" Andrew asks and his face changes slightly.

"No. I refuse. I want to check whether I’m pregnant or not with you... so I will wait until you come back."

"Thank you for considering that, dear. You know how much it means to me to be beside you in your eventful moment." He smiled... "I can’t believe my mother would want to do that without me. I would have been fuming if she did that!" Andrew said, making Mel chuckle. She knew it. Her husband must be angry if he left-out "And, how can my mother be so sure of her prediction? Has there been any change in you?" He asked again.

"You didn’t notice? I haven’t had my period since we married...." Andrew’s eyes wide open when he hears that. Now he understands why his mother suddenly wanted to call the doctor to examine his wife.

Andrew’s face turned bright and his heart pounding with happiness. With a trembling voice, he said, "W-Wife... I will fly back now to you, too, J city." He was so nervous now.

"WHAT?" She was shocked. According to the schedule, he will return to city J, tomorrow morning. Because tonight he still has a gala dinner. "How was your event there?"

"The main event is over. Tonight, only a gala dinner. I don’t have to come. I will ask one of my people here to represent me." Mel could only nod in agreement with his changing schedule. She was so happy to hear her husband will come back sooner.

"Alright, dear, you go to sleep now. I will arrange your breakfast and fly back to you. I will probably arrive at 7 PM J local time." Andrew said.

After her husband turned off the video call. Mel closed her eyes in no time she was in her deep sleep.
