When Mel got out of the car, she saw the main gate of the luxury apartment where she lived as a child with her mother. They only lived here a few months. No memory was left in her mind about this apartment. She immediately went inside, and a middle-aged aunty greeted her when she entered. Mel was surprised because she was the maid who used to clean their house.

After greeting her, Mel received a card key to go upstairs, after the aunty excused herself. She didn’t accompany Mel upstairs because Mel really wanted to be alone to see the apartment.

She went up to the top floor with Irina, who was waiting for her outside the apartment. Mel went in alone, and she felt strange being there. All living room furniture is covered with a white cloth.

She went straight to her mother’s room, she saw the same thing, all the furniture was covered with a white cloth.

Not long after, she headed to her mother’s study and looked for what she was looking for; a laptop and all her mother’s gadgets that she could bring. She also opened her mother’s safe deposit box. When she saw the contents of the safe, she was stunned because she found a lot of money, jewelry, securities, and other documents. She took all the things for her to examine later.

She was in her mother’s apartment for less than an hour, she came out with a medium suitcase. Mel and Irina immediately left the apartment and headed for the hotel.

They decided to have lunch at the hotel, after which they flew straight to Royal City. And precisely at 5 PM when their jet landed at Royal City private airport.

Mel was surprised to see her husband was waiting for her at the bottom of the stairs. She immediately ran downstairs and threw herself at him. She misses him so much. After they officially married, this was the first time they separated. Even for only one night, it doesn’t feel good.

"Do you miss me?" Andrew whispered in her ear.

"Hmm... I miss you so much." She tightens her hug. Later she feels her husband carry her to the car. "Husband," Mel panics. Her husband shows his PDA towards his people. "Don’t do that. I’m embarrassed...." Mel buries her face onto Andrew’s neck. She feels shy.

Andrew chuckled, "Wife, they used to see us like this. No need to be shy..."

"Husband, we’re going to the hospital, right?" Mel, who was already sitting in her seat, glanced at Andrew.

"Hmm, we will visit Grandpa, after that we will have dinner at home. A friend of mine is going to have dinner with us..."

"Who? Do I know him?" Mel knows her husband doesn’t have many friends. Hearing he had good friends in Royal City made her surprised and curious.

Andrew just shook his head, not wanting to talk about his friend. Instead, he asked about her trip to Moscow.

"Wife, did you find what you were looking for?" He was curious to hear the story.

Mel took a deep sign before telling him everything she saw on CCTV. About the man’s shadow accompanying a beautiful woman. The woman had touched her head, and Mel thought it had caused something magical. Mel took out her cell phone and played the CCTV in slow-motion for Andrew.

"Can you see it?" She asked.

"If you don’t make a special mark in the video and make this video slow, maybe I won’t even notice there’s a shadow..." He was so confused by what he saw. So, his wife’s dream came true. Another person arrived at the crime scene before she was found by someone else.

Andrew looked at his wife, who was sitting in her seat worriedly. He was afraid she would be stressed thinking about this incident. He didn’t want her emotions to be disturbed.

"Wife, so what are you going to do now...?" He asks while carefully observing her expression.

"I don’t know!" She was confused.

"Can you forget about it?" Andrew stares her in the eyes, "I mean, now that you are safe and sound, nothing more important than that. That should be more than enough to stop your search. As long as those two don’t harm you, then let’s just leave it alone, shall we?"

Mel was stunned by Andrew’s words.

Andrew was right. As long as the person didn’t harm her, she would try to forget about it. Suppose it was confirmed that the beautiful lady had healed her and given her the current super-power. In that case, Mel could only thank her without ever knowing about her name. And hope, one day, she will have the opportunity to meet that beautiful woman.

"My Husband, I agree with you. I’m not going to look for that woman again... now I want to focus on what’s in me. I’m so grateful to be given a second chance to live and meet you. I was also given a bonus; I have abilities that no one else has." She smiles while trying to hold Andrew’s hand.

Andrew smiles back at her and takes her hand, "That’s good, my dear...."

"And," She paused while smiling through her eyes... "I want to focus on us. I want to have a baby with you...." Her face instantly felt warm when she said those words.

"Wife..." Andrew was surprised to hear Mel’s words. Only this time, she said she wanted to have children with him. Instantly he pulled his wife sitting on his lap and hugged her passionately. "I love you, Melanie Tanner..."

They hugged until the car stopped right at the main door of M INT’L Hospitals. Soon they arrived at her grandfather’s treatment room. But before they entered the room, they met Uncle Jim, who had just come out of the room.

"Young Miss... You’re back?" He greeted her politely.

"Yes, uncle Jim, I want to see grandfather’s condition. Is he okay?"

"No worries, Young Miss. The old man is stronger than you think. Even when he has to undergo chemotherapy. But unfortunately, now you can’t see him, he just fell asleep. And it looks like he won’t wake up soon. Can you come back tomorrow morning?" Uncle Jim said.

After Mel peeked at her grandfather from a distance, she and Andrew finally decided to return to the mansion. They will return tomorrow morning to visit her grandfather.
