Chapter 275: Reunion

Andrew was silent while thinking about rescheduling his meeting. After a while, he said, "My Wife, if you want to go tomorrow, I can’t accompany you. But, if you’re going two days later, I can go with you...."

"Husband... I can go with Irina and Lara. After all, Irina is from Russia, so she must know about Moscow, right? I also don’t intend to stay long there. If my business is finished that day, I will return immediately to Royal city. But if it’s not finished, I’ll try to just stay there for one night. How?"

"Alright, you can go with them. I will ask Raymond to provide a jet. If there’s a schedule change, tell Irina she can arrange everything for you. And, you can stay at the W Hotel over there..."

Mel nodded. Following her husband’s arrangement.

"Wife, Let’s go. Grandfather must have finished talking to Uncle Robert. We better hurry to meet them...." They immediately go back to the 10th floor.

"Husband, we should clean the mess here before leaving...." Mel is worried that Andrew’s exploding cell phone could harm other people.

"No need, someone will take care of it," Andrew said and led his wife back to the hospital building.

When Mel and Andrew arrived at Doctor Robert’s room, Grandpa had finished the consultation. And it was decided that chemotherapy would be done the day after tomorrow.

She is a little disappointed. Tomorrow, when her grandfather started the Chemotherapy process, she would not be by his side. Because she will have to fly to Moscow to find out the truth behind the accident that happened to her. Also, to find out about the beautiful woman helping her, holding her head right after the accident. She believed that the goddess-like woman might have something to do with her being able to heal herself and the ability she got after waking up from her coma. At least she might know something about it.

After saying goodbye to Uncle Robert, Mel and the others left the room. Grandpa and his assistant immediately returned to the castle. Mel and Andrew continued their respective activities.

This noon Mel Will be visiting MT Investment’s head office.

Meanwhile, Andrew has an appointment with the W group director in Royal City. But before that, he took her to the MT Investment building, which is not too far from the W group building. After which, he went straight to W Group with Raymond and Hans.

"Wife, I won’t be too long. I will pick you up as soon as my meeting finishes." He said when the car stopped at the main entrance. Mel just nodded and said goodbye to him.

She immediately got out of the car and was surprised when Amy waited for her at the main door.

"Hello, Boss..." She smiled while approached Mel and walked beside her to enter the building.

The MT Investment building is the tallest and most luxurious building he currently owns. With a height of 40 floors, it was built in a modern and elegant style. Not all floors are used by MT Investment and MT Group, only floors 30 to 40. While other floors are rented out to other companies.

They go straight to the 40th floor using a special elevator that only stops on that floor, where Amy’s office, as CEO of MT Investment. While Mel does not have an office in this building, she does not intend to have an office in the royal city.

"How’s our building, boss?" Amy asks Mel the moment her secretary serves juice and cake for her.

"Not bad, Amy. You did an incredible job here...." Mel raises her thumb to Amy. Last year when she came to this building, not many companies had rented space in this building. Now, all the floors have been filled.

"Would you like to see the offices downstairs?"

"No need. I don’t want others to see me..." She chuckled.

"Yeah... how long will you stay behind the scenes, boss?" Amy laughs at her words. She had worked for Mel for years, but she never wanted to appear as the owner. Sometimes she was confused by the way she thought.

"As I said before... the timing is not right yet. I will appear once everything is settled." At first, she wanted to immediately appear as the owner of the MT Group, but now she changed her mind.

Because there is still a big issue about Ghost that still disturbs her mind. After her identity was known to the public, she feared that Ghost’s people looking for her would now find her quickly.

What’s more, after knowing that Vivian’s motive to climb up to Tanner Group had something to do with the Biological Weapon 7. That Ghost was looking for. She wouldn’t rush to appear in public as Melanie Tanner. She will keep a low profile for the time until all BW7 and Ghost issues are resolved.

Mel and Amy were then discussing company plans and other issues about MT Group. Before they say goodbye, Mel doesn’t forget to tell Amy that she will fly out to Moscow tomorrow.

"How many days will you stay in Moscow, boss?"

"Not long, maybe just one night..."

"So you will be here again the next day, right?" Amy seems worried Mel will not be in town the day after tomorrow. Because that day, she has made an appointment with their friends, Maggie and Cassandra. They are planning to have lunch together.

"Don’t worry, I’ll come back here again and come to our little reunion..." she laughed, seeing Amy’s panicked face. "So, when are we going to meet them?"

"It was supposed to be tomorrow, but since you are leaving tomorrow, I will reschedule until you come back from Moscow. Well, Princess Maggie and Cassandra are really excited to meet you, so I think they would accept it if we rescheduled the day after tomorrow...."

Mel chuckled, remembering Princess Maggie, one of her clients, when she was still in high school in the royal city. She helped her erase the digital footprint of her sex scandal, which shocked the whole country. Since then, they have become friends, and to this day, they remain good friends. Even though Mel has never returned to M in almost a year, they often exchange news via telephone or video calls weekly.
