Grandma stroked her granddaughter’s hair gently before continuing her sentence... "Now I can feel relieved. If I met your mother in heaven, I could tell her the happy news about you..." She said while wiping her tears.

Seeing her Grandma’s teary eyes made Mel feel touched, "Grandma, why you cry. And can you stop talking about Death? You will live till 100 years old, alright. You will see my children get married later..." She helped her Grandma wipe her tears using her hand.

Grandma chuckled at her words.

Mel suddenly remembered something...

"Grandma, the Grandma Recipe restaurant in the MT Group building, is already open. Is it necessary to make a launching event?"

Grandma shook her head...

"No Need. The restaurant I opened only for you, on your behalf. No need to promote. Even though the restaurant is losing money, it doesn’t matter."

"How can it be like that? This is Grandma’s business..." Mel was stunned by her Grandma’s words.

Grandma paused, trying to think about how to operate the restaurant without publication. "Well, Grandma has an idea; You can ask your staff to eat there and give them special prices. Like employee prices. So you can cover the restaurant’s operational costs..."

Mel agrees with the idea.

She also had a plan like that... she even provided a special cafeteria for employees in her building, and all the food provided was FREE. However, she believes her staff will get bored if they eat the same food all the time. So, giving them a special discount at Grandma Recipe’s might be the right strategy, a symbiotic mutualism.

"What are you guys talking about? Looks like a lot of fun?" Suddenly Grandpa Tanner shifted seats across from them.

Mel smiled at him before saying... "Grandpa... nothing, we just chat about business... Grandpa, are you okay? You just had brain surgery but already went to the party...." She still couldn’t believe her grandfather was forcing himself to come to this event.

"Grandpa is still in good health. I can do a little exercise... don’t worry too much, okay?" He laughed. "You will come to the mansion tomorrow for lunch, right?"

"Alright, but you have to be careful, grandpa..." Grandpa nods to reassure his granddaughter. She told her grandfather that tomorrow afternoon, she would come to the Tanner Mansion with Andrew. After that, they will go to W Mansion for dinner and stay there for a night.

"Great, Great... My Lovely Mel, I have prepared a barbecue in the garden behind the house... we are going to have a garden party tomorrow." His eyes sparkled with pleasure, waiting for her granddaughter to return to the mansion for the first time without Vivian and Andy. He was looking forward to their lunch party by the lake behind the house and welcomed Andrew’s presence as part of their family.

"Really?" She was so happy to hear that. They always had a barbecue party in the garden behind the mansion almost every weekend when she was little. That is one of her most favorite activities. Because all of her family is gathering together. In her mind, her father, who was so busy at work, will take the time to join them for the barbeque party.

"Yes! You like grilled meat, don’t you?" Mel nodded. "Don’t worry, grandpa has already asked the butler and chef at home to prepare all your favorite foods. You just have to come tomorrow, don’t forget it..."

Mel nodded happily.

She couldn’t wait to barbecue with her family, especially now that Andrew was there. This was Andrew’s first time visiting her childhood house. She was so excited.

"Girl, when are you going to grandma’s house?" Her grandmother, who had been silent for a while, suddenly joined in their chat.

Mel saw Grandma beside her. She smiled before replying, "Grandma, didn’t I promise you already? Will we visit you on Sunday afternoon? Andrew and I are going to have lunch at Grandma’s..." Grandma smiles. Mel adds, "Grandma has to provide me with my favorite food, huh..." She giggles while hugging her Grandma’s arms.

After talking with his grandparents, Mel also approached the elders. They were talking excitedly on the sofa set next to them. She listened and occasionally laughed with them as they recounted their experiences in the military a few years ago.

It wasn’t long before Axel appeared in the VIP area. Mel immediately stood up and walked over to him. They sat at another table for a chat together...

"Sister... you look so stunning tonight." He raised her glass to cheer her. But Mel doesn’t have wine, so she immediately calls the waiter to deliver juice for her. After cheers with Axel, they talked about the B2 property project.

Mel thanked Axel for allowing them to continue the project even though B2 Property was still experiencing some internal problems.

"Sister, don’t worry... you are now a shareholder of the Hills Group, so there’s no need to feel pressured...and B2 company is a good company to work with." He smiled at her.

Mel was stunned when she heard about the share. She just remembered the matter... "Axel, seriously, your brother gave me the shares?" She thought Alex was just joking with her...

"Hmm, he took out his private shares. He gives you 2% shares."

"He does that? Gosh!! Why did she give me 2%? That’s too much..."

Axel couldn’t help but laugh. At first, he also was shocked when he found out that his brother had issued his shares to give to Mel. He said it was his wedding present for Mel. At that time, he was confused about why his brother did that. What’s more, Mel is not his girlfriend. They are just friends. But his brother said Mel has helped a lot in his career in the military.

"Sister Mel, you don’t need to be surprised... Alex gives you that share as a thank you because all this time, you have supported him in the military." Mel was speechless.

Back then, she helped Alex because she was paid so high. How could he possibly say for gratitude’s sake?
