Damn! I Fall in Love With Him -
Chapter 203: Grandpa Furious
Chapter 203: Grandpa Furious
Mel nodded quickly. Now her eyes saw Grandfather’s face as if she was asking for advice on what to do. So her lover can’t be snatched by another woman from her grasp.
Her heart tensed, waiting for Grandpa’s answer.
Grandpa could read what his innocent granddaughter thought. He chuckled before saying, "Register your marriage as soon as possible. Before your Andrew was snatched by another woman. What else I heard from old Will, soon Andrew will appear in public as President W Group."
Mel nods.
"Can you imagine it? If his handsome face shows on TV and print media, you will have more competition."
Mel was like being struck by lightning in the daytime. She seemed to get a wake-up call to do something to keep Andrew by her side. She was even more convinced of her decision to register their marriage tomorrow morning.
She would surrender herself entirely to Andrew. She has to tie her man before he is snatched up by the heynes out there.
Gosh! Having a god-like-men and powerful lover like Andrew William could be very troublesome.
Grandpa smiled, satisfied in silence after seeing the look on his innocent granddaughter’s face, who seemed to swallow what he said.
Now his efforts to get his granddaughter to get married have been successful. He is just waiting for the results. Hopefully, they will both have children soon, so he can quickly carry his great-grandchildren.
After talking about marriage, Mel remembered Vivian’s case. She wondered if Uncle Jim had told Grandpa?
"Grandpa, has Uncle Jim told you about our accident?"
"Yes, he did." Instantly his expression darkened. There was a glint of anger flashing from his eyes. "That evil woman will get the punishment she deserves." He said, full of rage.
"She will never get out of prison. She will spend the rest of her life there." Mel said.
Vivian is now in custody. She is awaiting her final trial before she is found guilty, and the reading of her sentence will be held early next month.
"Indeed!" Grandfather looked at his granddaughter, "Have you made up with your father? You already know, right? All this time, your father was framed and fooled by that evil woman."
Mel lowered her head to hide her stiff face. She didn’t know how to respond to him. Even though her relationship with her father has improved. But she hasn’t fully forgiven him. There was still a trace of resentment in her heart. Maybe she needs a little more time.
"My Lovely Mel..." Grandpa called. Mel raised her head to look at him. He continued, "I know that you hate him. But, give him a chance to apologize to you and correct what he should have done as a father. He has suffered enough to lose you and your mom all this time."
Mel could only bite her lip while nodding slowly, her eyes slightly red, holding her tears.
"You know what? After divorcing your mother and officially marrying that woman, he never touched her. They don’t even sleep together. It’s as if their marriage is only on paper, only because of Andy Tanner’s status."
Mel was a little bit stunned to hear that.
Grandpa chuckled before saying... "When you first left, I hated your father so much. But after I found out he did that, I began to slowly forgive him. Because I know in his heart there is only you and your mother."
"Grandpa, so you’re saying my father never loved that woman?" Mel was shocked to hear this fact. All this time, she hated him because she thought her father loved that slut more than her mother.
Grandpa nods before saying, "You can ask him directly. Grandpa can only give you advice; give him a chance, alright? He was old, and so was Grandpa. Grandpa wants our family not to be separate again..." There’s a sadness flash through his eyes.
Mel could only nod. She promised herself, would give her father a chance.
"Grandpa, what about Andy Tanner? Did you know he wasn’t Tanner all this time?"
Grandfather chuckled before answering her...."Hmm, I knew it for a long time. That’s why I never liked to accept him. I never even wanted to give him a penny of my money. Will he never get an inheritance from Tanner? Never!"
Mel now understands. Before the incident, her Grandfather said he would give the company to her. It turns out that all this time, he knew that Andy was not his grandson.
"Andy’s matter will be settled by your father. I will not interfere."
Not long after, there was a knock on the door. Mel immediately opened it and saw Andrew standing before her.
"My love, are you done talking?"
"Hmm, come in," Mel asked him to join them. But, as Andrew was about to enter the room, she heard someone running in the corridor from outside. It wasn’t long before the VIP room door opened.
Mel saw her father, who was still wearing his formal outfit, entered quickly. Sweat was visible on his forehead. He seemed to be running from outside.
"Father..." Andrew, who was standing closer to Alan Tanner, greeted him politely.
"Son-in-law, my daughters are also here..." he greeted them quickly. Then he went into his father’s bedroom after Mel and Andrew gave him away.
"Father..." He said with his trembling voice, "I’m sorry I only arrived until now. When I received a call from Brother Jim. I was in city S. I’m so glad you finally woke up, dad. I won’t be able to survive if you just leave me like that..."
Mel and Andrew left the two of them to let go of their sadness.
There were only the two of them in the living room. Mel hadn’t seen Uncle Jim since he left Grandpa’s bedroom earlier.
"Wife, would you prefer to have dinner here or at home?"
Mel thought for a while before replying, "Are you okay if we eat here? We’ll accompany Grandpa. I don’t want to leave him awake all alone tonight."
"Sure, that would be wonderful. May I order the food now?"
"Hmm, yeah. Please order for dad and uncle Jim too."
Andrew smiles at the fact his wife is willing to share food with her father.
