The Elders only knew that Old Tanner had an accident, but they didn’t know he was in a coma.

"Child, is Old Tanner sleeping?" asked Grandpa Adams.

"Do we need to wake him up? How could he sleep when we came to see him!!" Grandpa Will said in a booming voice, he did it on purpose so that Grandpa Tanner, who he thought was sleeping, could wake up.

"Old Will, don’t be noisy. Maybe he was under the drug effect, so he fell asleep." He patted his friend’s shoulder. Then glanced at Mel, "Little Mel, has Old Tanner been sleeping for a long time?" Grandpa Hill asks.

After a while, Mel broke the silence, "Grandpa hasn’t woken up since the accident happened." Unknowingly, tears rolled down her cheeks. She cried.

Grandpa Will, who was standing near her, walked to her and hugged her. He knew that his future granddaughter-in-law was so sad.

"Don’t be sad. Old Tanner will wake up soon. You have to believe that."

Mel nods. And wiped the rest of her tears. She slowly raised her head to see Grandpa Will in front of her. Grandpa gently pats her shoulder. Mel smiled at him then said, "Hmm, I’m sure Grandpa will wake up soon."

It wasn’t long before Ryan appeared with several doctors behind him for morning’s round of patient checks.

Mel asks Ryan to explain Grandpa’s condition to the Elders before she comes out to the living room.

When she wanted to sit on the couch, her phone vibrated. Her smile widened when she saw Andrew’s name appear on the screen of her cellphone.

"Hi Andrew," She greeted him cheerfully.

"Have you reached the hospital yet??"

"Hmm, thanks to you for sending me a new car." She chuckled.

"Do you like it?" He had always wanted to give her a car, which was spacious and luxurious. But his little wife was too low profile. She only wants to use an SUV-type vehicle. The incident a few days ago gave him a reason to force his little wife to accept the car.

"I like it, especially the refrigerator. Lots of food that can accompany me on the trip. So I won’t be hungry anymore."

Andrew laughed at that. His lover is one of a kind. Mel is always happy with the food and literally doesn’t care too much about luxury things. And if the item he gives is helpful or the food is delicious, she would shamelessly show her gratitude and joy.

He likes women like this. Not too hard to be satisfied and is genuinely understand what is essential in life.

"Andrew, the elders are here visiting Grandpa. They just found out that Grandpa was in a coma. Now, Brother Ryan was explaining to them about Grandpa’s condition. I couldn’t stand being in that room. My heart ached. It made me cry..." Mel took a deep sigh before she continued, "A-Andrew, what if Grandpa won’t wake up?" Her voice sounded trembling.

"My dear, don’t say things like that. Have you forgotten, there is a proverb; Words are prayers?"

Mel was stunned. She realizes that Andrew is right, and she shouldn’t have said that.

Andrew continues, "You have to believe he will wake up soon, alright, my love?"

"Hmm. I Will," She took a deep sigh before asking him about his activities today.

Andrew told her that he had just finished his morning meeting and now he is on the way to the Private Airport. He would be visiting one of their automotive factories in city B. So, he would not be returning to city J in the late afternoon.

"Wife, I will pick you up tonight. We will have dinner together. And, don’t skip lunch. Ask Irina to order food for you from Wolfgang Steak House or another restaurant."

"No Need. This noon, I will have lunch with Anna and Harry. They will come to see Grandpa this afternoon, and we will have lunch after that."

"That’s good then. Where will you eat?"

"We decided to eat at a Korean BBQ Restaurant across the hospital." Mel suddenly remembers Grandma asks her to bring Andrew to Dinner at home.

She immediately tells Andrew about it, and he agrees right away. Andrew promised to pick her up before dawn. After they talked about a few things, Mel turned off the phone because Andrew was already on his private jet and soon left for city B.
