The next day.

Andrew picks her up from Grandma’s house. Today she will spend her time at Andrew’s house. Well, she was again put under house arrest by that dangerous man.

"Andrew, why haven’t you left for the office yet?"

"My Dear Wife, today I will be working from home. I will accompany you all day." He said while sitting next to her, who was watching the news.

She was speechless. No wonder he forced her to come to his villa.

Mel ignores him, her eyes focus on the TV. She wanted to see if yesterday’s events were on the news this morning. However, until the morning news report was finished, there was no news about yesterday’s incident. She also asks Max to track the info on the internet but to no avail.

She was sure someone had deliberately covered up yesterday’s news. The image of Andrew appeared in her mind. She immediately turned her gaze towards Andrew.

"Did you do it?"

"Do what?"

"Covering up yesterday’s news?"

"Hmm, you said you didn’t want Grandma to know. That’s why I asked Raymond to make sure there was no news of yesterday’s incident," Andrew said in his charming voice.

Mel was happy that he thought that.

Andrew Adds, "And we’ve found evidence that yesterday’s incident involved Vivian."

"YOU DO??" Mel is both surprised and excited because now she can get this bitch out of her life.

Andrew told her; They had checked CCTV footage of the past month around the Tanner Mansion. And focused on seeing people going in and out of the Tanner mansion from the employee door at the mansion’s back.

From the many recordings they saw, there was one suspicious female staff member. They decided to focus on her. The woman left the mansion but not where the staff was supposed to be.

She headed to the train station, and entered the women’s toilet, then disappeared. She was seen reappearing from the women’s restroom after 6 hours of being inside.

Because of the first discrepancy, they investigated deeper and finally found the biggest clue.

It turned out that the female staff changed clothes and used another wig when she came out of the toilet.

"So, that staff is Vivian in disguise?"

Andrew nodded before continuing his sentence, "Hmm, she left the mansion and disguised herself three times since the Tanner Entertainment Annual General Meeting was over." Andrew pauses for a while to glance at Mel before continuing... "We also found evidence of money transfers from anonymous accounts to people she met."

Mel could only shake her head at Andrew’s explanation. That bitch sure is vicious. She’s so professional, knows how to disguise and how to hide her tracks. She became suspicious that Vivian was a swindler or even a criminal?

"My Love, the last meeting she had was not with the killer she hired but...." Andrew stopped talking. He opened his cellphone and gave it to her, "You see for yourself who she meets."

Mel took Andrew’s cellphone. She immediately tabs a play button. Instantly her eyes widened, seeing a video of a woman and man kissing on the edge of the lotus river. They got into the car not long after, and the fast-forwarded video shows the two came out after 2 hours in shabby-looking clothes.

Without needing to ask Andrew, she already understood what they were both doing in the car. She almost vomited to imagine her father’s woman making out with another guy. Gosh!

She focused again on seeing the video. To her surprise, the face of the man was the same as someone.

"This man!?" Instantly she raised her head and saw Andrew asking for confirmation.

Andrew nodded before replying, "My wife, the man’s name is Zack. He’s one of the leaders of the ’Black Rose’ in the city of B. They are just lowly gangsters who do nasty things. They are no benefit to society, and I can’t believe the police or city government still allow lowly gangsters to exist in their city!" Andre shakes his head, baffled.

"No wonder Vivian has access to the killer. It turns out that her boyfriend is a gangster leader. Damn!! I really hate that bitch." Mel cursed.

Andrew continues, "His face is very similar to Andy Tanner. I’m sure he is Andy’s biological father. We will get the results of both DNA tests soon, so there will be a reason to get Andy Tanner removed from the Tanner family."

Mel speechless.

So all this time, that bitch snatched her father by manipulating him using her son from another man?

It seemed she had heard a story like this before!?

Mel thought hard. After a while, she remembered the plot of one of the dramas that Grandma and Aunty Chen watched. The story’s synopsis, same as Vivian, is the slut climbing to the top using this and many other sleazy tricks.

Instantly she feels sorry for her father.

"I will never forgive that fucking slutty bitch! Damned her!!" Mel is yelling loud in anger.

"My Wife, can you reduce your cursing? Soon you will be a mother. It’s not good if later our children find out that their mother’s hobby is cursing." Andrew said in a calm voice.

But in Mel’s ear, she seemed to hear her grandfather scolding her.

She cleared her imagination to have a child with Andrew. She has focused again on that slutty bitch case.

Andrew was delighted when he heard his little wife call him ’Husband’ for the first time... "My Dear Wife, from now on, call me like that." He whispers in her ear.

Mel pauses, then raises her head to look at him, confused.

"Call me, ’My Husband,’" He said.

Mel blushed.

"Did I call you like that?" She was utterly unaware of calling him like that.

"Hmm, can you do it again?"

Mel ignored him.

She went back to talking about Vivian, who was going to be arrested today by the police.

"If from the start you agreed with me to help you, maybe this accident wouldn’t have happened." He had offered to help her to clean up Vivian several times, but she always refused.

"I know that’s why I regret it."

"Wife, I will make sure she will suffer."

Mel nods before saying, "I never imagined that heartless women have a gut to send assassins to kill Grandpa. Did she forget grandpa’s status as a founder of this country? Is she tired of living? Obviously, she will be sentenced to death, even if the assassination attempt failed."

"Definitely! She’s going to rot in the dungeon!!" Andrew talks to himself then a sinister smile appears on his handsome face.
