Chapter 175: Making Baby

Two days passed quickly. Not much has happened in the last two days. Because Mel spends her time just staying at home. She completed some advanced gadgets in her Playroom and took some light tasks from Hacker Community when she felt bored.

Lately, she rarely appears in the Hacker Community because she is too busy with the Company.

When she started the company, she needed a lot of fresh money. The hacker community has become the fastest cash cow for her. That’s why almost every night, she shows up there and takes the highest-paid task. But right now, money isn’t her problem anymore. She has more than enough funds to cover all her plans, backup plans, and any plans that haven’t even been on her mind yet.

She also occasionally chats with her friends on Play Hard and Eat Hard. The four of them could be her comfort escape when she was tired or bored.

Unfortunately, last night she couldn’t join them to try one of the newly opened restaurants in the central district. Because every night, Andrew video calls with her to make sure she is staying at home.

She couldn’t believe she was trapped in her own house. But, she was happy, because basically, she is a homebody. And, somehow, Andrew’s excessive attention like this made her feel warm inside her heart.

Even though Andrew is far away in another country. They are still actively talking via video calls. Mel’s ability to hack into the hotel where Andrew stayed makes communicating and monitoring Andrew really easy for her.

It makes them more satisfied to hear and see each other through the big screen TV. It was as if they share the same room

And yesterday, after completing his work in Singapore, he immediately flew to Hong Kong. He had a lot of meeting agendas there until this morning. And he was only able to arrive back in town J at 11 AM. He will go straight from the airport to Uncle Tom’s restaurant.

Today is Saturday. The day she and Andrew would meet with Grandpa to tell him about their marriage plan.

She was a little worried, afraid that Grandpa would sulk at being told now. What’s more, Grandpa Will already knew before him.

The plan today is, Grandpa will pick her up in the green forest, and they will go together to the restaurant.

When she went downstairs for breakfast, she saw Grandma was waiting for her at the dining table.

"Girl, let’s have breakfast."

Mel sat down in the chair she usually occupied. And immediately ate the breakfast that had been prepared by aunty Chen.

"Grandma is at home today?"

"Yes, today Grandma wants to garden in the backyard." Grandma looked at her Granddaughter. "You want to accompany grandma?"

Mel raises her head slowly to see Grandma in the eyes. She laughs... "My dear Grandma, I don’t like gardening. I just like to enjoy flowers in the garden." She laughed.

Grandma could only shake her head. Mel’s habits have worried her, as she can’t cook and is not too good at playing musical instruments. Household chores are also not her best feature, nor gardening or taking care of the garden. She just likes to spend her time in front of the computer.

Before her Granddaughter met Andrew, she was always worried, afraid no man would accept a wife like her. She couldn’t compete with the young misses in this country. Her only advantage is her beautiful face and kind heart.

Luckily there is Andrew, who is willing to accept her Granddaughter as she is. She was very grateful because her Granddaughter would not grow old alone to be a virgin, Mary.

If only Mel knew what her Grandma thought. Maybe now she would have vomited blood.

"Alright, Grandma won’t force you to do gardening." She could only smile at her before continuing her sentences. "Girl, if I’m not mistaken, you will meet old Tanner this afternoon?"

"Hmm, he’ll pick me up at 11 AM," Mel said while chewing her food.

"Old Tanner, be delighted to know you’re getting married to Andrew. Several times he’s called me and complained about you being single. He really wants you to get married soon. Old Tanner said, he can’t wait to carry his great-grandchildren, and neither do I."

Mel choked. Her face was red from a sudden cough.

Grandma immediately patted her on the back and gave her a glass of water... "Girls, eat slowly. No one will take your food. You can choke to death if you eat too fast."

Mel dumbfounded.

"Gosh! Grandma, I’m choking because you guys want me to have kids soon."

"Why? You don’t want to have children right away?" Grandma, who had sat back in her chair, almost jumped off her chair and yelled to hear her Granddaughter’s words.

"I want to... but please don’t say it like that because I feel under pressure. Just let it happen naturally." She said shyly while lowering her head and staring at her breakfast.

Grandma laughed, seeing her Granddaughter’s face now turning red. At this time, she knew her Granddaughter must be feeling embarrassed. So, she stops teasing her.

"Alright, Grandma won’t say anything about it. Are you feeling calmer now?"

"Hmm..." she answered without lifting her head. She feels so shy when Grandma talks about making babies. Somehow she was relieved the dangerous man wasn’t with them. If he was here, he would definitely be enthusiastic and force her to make a baby right away.

After breakfast finished, Mel immediately went up to the third floor and entered her computer room to do some unfinished work.

"Max, any news from Stefan?" Mel felt two days more than enough for Stefan to catch Grigori Yefimovich, the hacker who hacked Mario’s cellphone.

"Not yet, Boss. Looks like they’re going into action today. I will continue to monitor their progress. Don’t worry, boss."

Mel just nodded at the information Max had just given her. She went back to her work.

At precisely eleven at 11 AM, Mel is ready to meet Grandpa.

Today she wears simple clothes; Black tight jeans, a white t-shirt and she wears a light gray oversize blazer and white sneakers. As usual, she carries her favorite black backpack, which always accompanies her wherever she goes.

In her backpack, there is her super laptop, a new concealed sniper rifle she has just developed, and her other neat gadgets. She’s all set to defend herself against any surprise attack.
