Andrew knew that his parents never supported Mario’s dream to become an officer in the military. Still, it was his grandfather who thoroughly helped him to make his dream come true. If his parents found out Mario had an accident like that, they would definitely force him to quit the military.

Alex was stunned.

Andrew continued, "Does my uncle know?"

"Yes, he knows. He said the same as you." Alex was surprised to hear Andrew’s answered. The answer exactly was what Uncle Daniel Adams had told him when he reported the Mario kidnapping case to him a few days ago.

"So, what are you going to do to catch the kidnapper?" He asks with his icy voice.

"We’ve caught him and are gathering important information from him. We will find their base and destroy this evil organization. They are so disturbing that several countries are involved in eradicating this organization."

Andrew’s heart tightens when he hears Alex’s words. He raises her brow. "What organization are you dealing with?"

"Ghost!"

Andrew turned to see him with a surprised look. "Don’t tell me the Ghost you are dealing with is the same as the Ghost I know?" Andrew was starting to worry.

"Brother, do you also know Ghost? Ghosts who often cause trouble in several countries, to the point that they are labeled as terrorists?"

Andrew turned his gaze away from Alex and saw the dark forest while he took a deep sigh ignoring Alex, who was now staring at him.

"Brother, you know them, don’t you?"

Andrew didn’t answer Alex. Instead, he asked him back, "So Mario’s mission is to spy on their base in Africa?"

"Yes. But we failed. The Ghost somehow had empty the basecamp before Mario arrives." Alex said with a disappointed tone.

Andrew chuckled as he shook his head slowly, and he said... "Your team is indeed the best in the country, but sadly you guys misjudge Ghost."

"What do you mean, Brother?"

Instantly Andrew felt sorry for Alex and told him about the evil organization’s Ghost...

"They don’t have a base. The Ghost doesn’t even have the top commanders. Alex was shocked to hear Andrew say, "Brother, have you ever dealt with Ghost?"

"Hmm, several times. But they are nothing to us." He chuckled then continued... "They are just a bunch of stressed people who want to seek attention."

Andrew smiled at him and patted Alex’s shoulder lightly, then he walked towards the house... "Good luck, brother!"

"First-brother, wait!!" He cried then ran after him, "You have to help us find Ghost who is doing his evil deeds in this country."

"Why should I help you?" He chuckled without stopping his steps.

Alex cursed him. He knows Andrew has an alliance that can help him solve the Ghost case. However, he knew that Andrew had never been involved with the military.

"Because this is for the sake of the country!"

Andrew stops and turns his body to see Alex. He laughs. "Second-brother, I’m really sorry. You know, I’m a businessman, right? I will not do anything that is not related to my business interests. I don’t care about state affairs. That’s your business anyway." He said and walked away from Alex.

Alex took a deep sigh before saying, "Brother, you must help us because my sister-in-law is involved in this case."

Andrew suddenly stopped walking. His heartbeat beat faster when he heard Mel has been involved in tracking and fighting the Ghost’s cases! He immediately turned his body and looked questioningly at Alex.

"Brother, We have a pretty serious problem. When Mario was tortured, he spilled his sister-in-law’s name ’Mel Tan’ to his kidnappers. And the kidnapper had told his superiors about sister-in-law’s name." Alex pauses before continuing, "Brother, you know her role in XTeam, right?"

Andrew’s hands clenched tightly at Alex’s explanation. He already knew Mel was a member at XTeam, but he doesn’t know her primary duty at the team. He believed his lovely Mel must be a reliable hacker until XTeam was willing to recruit her.

Seeing that Andrew didn’t respond, Alex continued his sentence... "Sister-in-law is our powerful hacker, and Ghost knows her name. But don’t worry, she has now cleared her name ’Mel Tan,’ and she is back to using her real name. We also sent a backup team to protect her from afar."

Andrew can only close his eyes, trying to calm his heart and mind, which are currently very chaotic. If this person in front of him wasn’t Alex, he might have killed him by now.

"Brother, we will talk again later. Let’s go inside. Your sister-in-law will suspect something if we talk too long. And, please don’t say anything about what we’re talking about to her." Andrew said, then he opened the door and entered the house.

He knew his beloved wife must be waiting for him because they had been chatting in the backyard for too long, almost an hour.

He also felt that he suddenly wanted to hug his wife because the feelings raging in his heart were torturing him. He needs her to calm his mind and soul.
