"Hello Ms. Vivian, long time no see." Aunt Bella said with a small laugh before she continued, "You still look the same as before, so powerful and domineering." Her voice was calm, but the tone seemed to mock her.

Vivian’s face turned pale from the shock of seeing Bella, Linda, personal assistant.

She was even more shocked after Mr. Teddy invited everyone to sit back, and he completely ignored her.

’What is this? Why did Mr. Teddy ignore me?’ Vivian started to panic.

Mr. Teddy sat at the end of the table. He introduced Aunt Bella as Vivian’s replacement from the CEO position.

Vivian, who heard the announcement said by Mr. Teddy, almost passed out. Fortunately, her assistant immediately grabbed her from falling from her chair.

She realizes everything has been set up, and she can’t do anything. With her last dignity, she would back down this time, but she wouldn’t just give in yet.

’Melanie Tanner, you’ll be getting my revenge soon! I will kill you like I killed your mother.’ She made an avow in her heart.

After Vivian left the meeting room, she wasn’t straight to her office but upstairs to the Tanner Group’s CEO’s Office. As soon as she arrived, she immediately entered the room with her sad face, her eyes reddened with tears.

"Husband..." her voice sounded so sad as if she had just been bullied by someone.

Alan Tanner, who was currently on the phone with someone, was a little surprised to see Vivian in such a pitiful condition.

He immediately hung up the phone. "What’s the matter with you? Why do you look like this?" He asked.

Vivian immediately sat on the sofa and buried her face with both her hands, "Husband, what did I do wrong? Why does Melanie hate me so much? You know I’ve been trying to find her all this time, right? And I want to make things up with her. But now, after she appeared, she treated me like I am trash! How could she have done that?" She said while sobbing.

Alan Tanner was surprised to hear Vivian mention Melanie’s name. He immediately approached her and sat opposite her. With a calm voice, he asked Vivian to explain what happened.

Vivian, who now is a little calmer, told her husband everything that had happened at the Annual General Meeting. However, she didn’t tell him about her misuse of company money.

Alan Tanner was shocked to hear all of this.

’Melanie do that? Did she hate her stepmother so much that she dared to remove her from the CEO position of Tanner Entertainment?’ Alan Tanner was perplexed about what his daughter was doing.

"My dear husband, you have to give me justice. I cannot accept this humiliation. What if the socialites in this town find out that I was removed from the CEO? And it was done by my stepdaughter?" Her eyes looked at her husband’s eyes with a sad look. "T-they will definitely laugh at me and think Melanie is a useless child." Her cries grew louder until secretary Alan Tanner, who was outside the room, could hear her.

Alan tanner ignored Vivian, who almost fainted from crying too hard. He was too busy thinking about what made his only daughter act like this. He’s confused, too, that his father gave all his shares to Melanie without talking to him.

After a while, Alan Tanner finally asked Vivian to return to her office. Because right now, he still had some important matters he had to solve.

Vivian, who was still sobbing with heavy steps, left the room.

After Vivian left the room, it wasn’t long before Alan Tanner left the room and headed upstairs to meet his father at the Group’s president’s office.

By the time he gets to his room, he sees uncle Teddy, the COO of the Tanner Group, talking casually with his father. He went straight in. Then, said hello to his father, also uncle Teddy and sat down on the couch with them.

"Teddy, you can go back now." Old Tanner said, asking Teddy to return to his office.

"Father, can you explain to me what really happened at Tanner Entertainment Agency? Why did the CEO suddenly change? And why suddenly you give your share to Melanie without consulting me?" asked Alan Tanner, confused.

Old Tanner laughed before he said, "That woman deserves it." Alan raised his eyebrows, not understanding his father. He wanted to ask his father, but his father said first, "Don’t you know? Your wife has embezzled company money! And I hope you have nothing to do with it."

"WHAT!!" Alan Tanner was shocked.

"If it wasn’t for My Lovely Mel finding evidence of her corruption, maybe now she is still corrupt." Old Tanner took a deep sigh before he continued... "Does she think this company belongs to her family?"

Alan Tanner was speechless. He doesn’t know how to answer his father. He also didn’t think that his wife Vivian, who he knew was very gentle, could do that. Impossible!

Old Tanner continues to scold his son, "And you!! Have you forgotten who built the company? How dare you ask me why I give my Lovely Mel the share? I give her because she is the rightful owner of the company. The company belongs to her mother. Not your new woman’s." Old tanner shook his head while sending a daggered glare to Alan Tanner, his stupid son.

Alan Tanner’s face instantly turned deathly pale. He had never seen his father this angry. In fact, at the time he divorced Linda, his father didn’t flare up like this. He just kept quiet and didn’t say anything. But now? His father’s aura made him unable to move.

"My Son," Old Tanner adds with his disappointed voice, "That’s why I haven’t dared to give you full power in this company. Because your eyes are too blinded by that woman. Since a long time ago, I never agreed to you marrying her and divorcing Linda, but you insisted. You even make them leave this country."

"Father, I know, I was wrong. I’ve been trying to apologize to Melanie, but she really hates me." Alan Tanner pleaded with his father.

"You deserved it!" Old Tanner said with a sad look to his only son.
