Chapter 131: Stay at Home

Ryan laughed. "First-brother, of course, sister-in-law can go home. Wounds like this don’t need to be hospitalized." Ryan turned his gaze to Mel and said, "Sister-in-law, you can go home. I’ve prepared a medicine for you to take and a kit to change the bandage. The most important thing is that the wound shouldn’t be exposed to water." Said Ryan, patiently explaining all the dos and don’ts to her.

Mel nodded eagerly at Ryan’s explanation with a big smile. She was thrilled that she didn’t have to spend the night in the hospital.

She immediately looked at Andrew, asking him to hurry up with the paperwork so they could leave the hospital quickly. But she was surprised to see that his expression was still worried.

’What’s wrong?’

Before she asked him, Andrew said to Ryan, "Third-brother, I’m afraid there will be side effects from your sister-in-law’s wound. So, tonight you will stay at my place, just in case there is a side effect. You can help her immediately." Andrew ordered him.

Ryan couldn’t refuse his first-brother request. He was forced to agree.

After finish talk to Mel, he left the two lovebirds. He then returned to his office to continue the work still piling up because he had to care for his sister-in-law all day.

His Sister-in-law’s wound was only a superficial wound. Other doctors could handle it. But the first brother forced him to take care of her. He could only follow Andrew’s orders. He could never refuse him. Actually, for him, there is no problem helping sister in law.

Still, the problem is, his reputation has dropped to the basement because, as the director of this hospital, he has to perform stitching up the tiny wound. Nevertheless, his sutures would be perfect and beautiful. The thinking of excellent sutures brings his mood back to positive.

’Damn you, first-brother! I’m the best surgeon in this country, alright!’ He still cursed his first brother a thousand times in his heart but is now in a much better mood.

Return to the VIP room.

"Andrew, don’t you feel sorry for your third brother?" Mel asked when Ryan left the room. She knew, at this time, Andrew was too much. Ryan didn’t need to stay at Andrew’s place just to observe her. Because this kind of wound is nothing to her. As a member of XTeam, she often suffers from cuts, even experiencing a broken bone, resulting in her having to use a cane to walk.

Andrew shook his head. "No. It’s his job." Then he helped Mel out of bed. They’re getting ready to leave the hospital to head back to his penthouse.

"Young master, everything is settled. We can go now." Raymond suddenly appeared in front of the VIP room.

Andrew nodded and took Mel’s right hand, and walked out of the room.

Arriving in front of the main door, Mel saw Hans already standing beside the car. He opened the door for them, with a very guilty tone he said, "Young miss, I’m really sorry." for the umpteenth time he said that, making Mel feel annoyed mixed with pity.

"Hans, please stop saying that. I’ll be furious if you say it one more time. I’m fine, and it’s not your fault." Said Mel slowly but firmly.

Hans shut his mouth and immediately got back behind the wheel. Along the way, Mel didn’t say much. Her mind recalled what happened earlier at the park. She was now starting to worry about Harry.

Is he okay at his family home?

Mel wanted to call him, but her hand was held tightly by Andrew, who had been treating her like a glass that would break easily. Mel could only chuckle in her heart at Andrew’s act.

After a while, Mel finally remembered the bag she left at the office. In that bag, there was a laptop and her gun. She is worried because if someone else sees it, she could be in trouble.

"Andrew, can we go to my office first? I left something important there...."

"Your bag?"

Mel nodded.

"Hiro has already delivered your bag to the penthouse."

Mel was relieved because Hiro knew that she is a member of XTeam, and she often carried a gun.

It wasn’t long before they were in the living room of Andrew’s penthouse.

Andrew was immediately busy in the kitchen cooking dinner for them. Actually, Mel forbade him to cook, so he asked Andrew to order dinner from Wolfgang. But, Andrew refused. He wanted to cook a special meal for her and healthy food so that her wound healed quickly.

Feeling uncomfortable sitting alone on the sofa, she sits in her favorite spot in the kitchen, on the island, while watching Andrew cook. She opens her computer. She reads the document Amy sent for the Annual General Meeting at Tanner Entertainment tomorrow.

"My Love, don’t use your hands too much. Your veins will work harder, so your wounds will take longer to heal. Stop typing on the laptop. Just watch a movie or the news." Andrew said, making Mel stop typing.

She looked at him. "Andrew, tomorrow I’m going to Tanner Entertainment. There’s an Annual General Meeting."

Hearing Mel’s words that she would meet the bitch Vivian, Andrew’s face instantly turned darker... "My Love, I won’t let you go to the meeting. You will stay at home with me." He stopped doing anything, washed his hands, and sat beside her, "My Love, I will send my people to help your team to handle the meeting tomorrow. Your goal is to get Vivian fired, right?"

Mel Nods before saying, "No Andrew, I don’t want Vivian to know that W Group is connected to me. She can find other ways to damage your company reputation." Mel refused.

Andrew took a deep sigh.

She adds, "Andrew, I know you want to help me." Mel held his warm hand.

But Andrew didn’t say anything. He just stared at her.

"Okay, tomorrow I will not go to the meeting. I will ask Hiro to replace me. He will go with Amy and Aunty Bella there. You don’t need to send someone from W Group, okay?" She decided to follow Andrew’s advice.

Andrew happily smiled because Mel agreed to stay at home. He was so worried, knowing that Mel would meet Vivian tomorrow when she is not in her top physical condition. Vivian would likely be angry because she was fired. She might express her anger on Mel and do something that could physically hurt her.

He didn’t want that to happen. If Mel is hurt, he will not forgive himself, and he will severely punish whoever harms her, physically or mentally.
