Daddy is too Strong -
Chapter 128
Chapter 128
Monday mornings, after a weekend of sweet rest, were often the hardest days of the week for workers.
However, that wasn’t the case for Do-Jun. He was always grateful for the chance to work and be part of society.
Yoon-Hee adjusted Do-Jun’s tie.
This was a first, as usually, he would tie it himself. Over the weekend, Yoon-Hee and the kids visited a department store and bought a new tie for him. She had insisted that she be the one to tie it for him when he left for work, and he reluctantly agreed.
“What do you think? Do you like it?” Yoon-Hee asked, hopeful for a positive reaction.
The tie was a simple navy blue, without any patterns. Looking at his reflection in the full-length mirror, Do-Jun smiled and said, “It looks great.”
When she saw that he liked it, Yoon-Hee beamed and clipped a small, straight pin onto the center of the tie.
“This came with the tie. It was costlier than I thought,” she said, recalling the price tag.
Yoon-Hee had plenty of leftover allowance because she usually came straight home after school instead of hanging out with friends. She had saved up that money to buy the tie and pin set for 150,000 won at the department store.
To her, it felt ridiculous that a tie and pin could cost that much, but she didn’t feel it was a waste at all since it was a gift for Do-Jun, her father.
“Oh no, it’s already 7:40...” Yoon-Hee said, checking the time.
It took an hour by subway to get to school. If she didn’t leave now, she would be late.
“Well then, I’m off!” She bowed politely before heading out the door.
Do-Jun waved at her with a smile. Then he opened the door to the bedroom to check on the sleeping kids. Two dragons lay curled up, fast asleep, and at the center of the bed was Byeol, softly breathing in her sleep.
Actually, one of the dragons wasn’t asleep—just pretending.
Do-Jun closed the door gently and headed off to work.

The moment Do-Jun left, Yong-Yong opened his eyes. He crawled out of bed, leaped up to the wardrobe handle, and opened it. He pulled out a small white cloak hanging in the corner.
[Aduntath’s Cloak of Invisibility]
Category: Armor
Grade: S
Strength +50
Special Effect: Activates invisibility when worn.
Description: The cloak worn by Aduntath, the Assassin of the Deep Realm. His unseen presence struck fear into all.
Yong-Yong draped the cloak over himself. It shrank to fit his small body, and his form became transparent as his presence vanished.
He waved a paw in front of Karsiel and Byeol to ensure they were truly asleep. Then, following the sound of Do-Jun’s footsteps, he quietly slipped outside.

“Morning, Do-Jun,” Cheol-Soo greeted him.
Despite Do-Jun arriving early at 8:10 AM, Cheol-Soo was already at his desk.
After a slight bow, Do-Jun sat down and turned on his computer. While the computer booted up, he went to the break room to make coffee. Debating between latte and black coffee, he opted for black and waited for the water to boil.
While waiting, he focused his senses on a particular area. Though invisible, he sensed a faint presence lingering near the office entrance. He briefly deliberated on what he should do about it.
Soon, the water finished boiling. He added three ice cubes to cool it slightly and returned to his desk.
Hyuk-Soo stumbled as if he had tripped on something while entering the office.
“Woah!” he exclaimed, turning around to examine the floor, but found nothing and tilted his head in confusion.
Seeing Do-Jun glance toward his location, Yong-Yong trembled slightly, wondering if he had been caught. However, Do-Jun quickly returned his gaze to his monitor, and Yong-Yong exhaled in relief.
“Good morning, Chief,” Hyuk-Soo said after finding his balance.
“Starting the week with your trademark clumsiness, are we?” Cheol-Soo said jokingly.
“I actually did trip on something! I swear...”

Meanwhile, at home, Karsiel and Byeol were eating breakfast. Today’s meal was leftover braised beef and potatoes from the previous night’s dinner.
“Sieh, where is Yong-Yong?”
“I don’t know. Where could he have gone?”
Judging by the fact that there was no trace of his qi, he was definitely not in the house. He must have wandered off somewhere. Hopefully, he wasn’t skipping any meals.

Monday’s workloads were always heavier than usual.
Processing the inquiries and complaints received over the weekend kept the morning flying by, and before anyone knew it, it was lunchtime.
“Let’s continue after lunch,” Cheol-Soo said, patting Do-Jun on the shoulder.
Reacting to the mention of food, a faint shift in energy came from the spot near Do-Jun’s desk where Yong-Yong was hiding. Noticing this, Do-Jun decided to continue observing for now. He grabbed a loaf of bread from the break room, placed it on his desk, and headed to the cafeteria with his colleagues.

“Do-Jun, something on your mind?” Cheol-Soo asked, chewing on some pickled scallions.
Pausing mid-bite, Do-Jun hummed as if deep in thought. “I’ve been thinking about how Senior Hyuk-Soo almost fell this morning.”
“Ha! Hyuk-Soo has a knack for comedy sometimes.”
Embarrassed, Hyuk-Soo protested, “Chief, I swear something was there!”
“Come on, it was probably just your foot hitting a desk leg,” Cheol-Soo teased.
“No! It felt like... like there was a cardboard box or something in the middle of the walkway!”
Hyuk-Soo’s face flushed red with embarrassment, a stark contrast to his usual composed demeanor, which Cheol-Soo found endlessly amusing.
Though Do-Jun knew exactly what had caused Hyuk-Soo to trip—the invisible Yong-Yong—he chose to stay quiet.
Is he wearing that cloak? Do-Jun wondered, thinking of the artifact he had acquired last month after defeating the Deep Realm Assassin Aduntath in an event Fissure. The cloak could render the user invisible and conceal their presence.
But why would he do so much just to follow me?
Though it was baffling, Do-Jun suddenly had an idea. Smiling faintly, he took out his smartphone and sent a message to Yoon-Hee.

Do-Jun was on his way home after the end of the workday, but Yong-Yong still hadn’t shown himself.
However, when Do-Jun returned to the office after lunch, he found the bread bag he had left on his desk emptied, its remains discarded in the trash. Yong-Yong had likely eaten it and cleaned up afterward.
The automated announcement rang out. “The next station is Bangbae Station. The doors will open on the right.”
The subway doors opened with a screeching sound, and Do-Jun exited. He tapped his credit card on the turnstile’s reader and passed through.
Behind him, there was a sudden clatter and a loud groan from Yong-Yong. It seemed he had accidentally bumped into the turnstile’s arm.
Yong-Yong thought it wouldn’t be surprising if Do-Jun had noticed him by now.
Meanwhile, Do-Jun wondered what Yong-Yong had been doing all day. Do-Jun had spent his entire day in the office, handling administrative tasks. There hadn’t been any Fissure explorations.
As such, Yong-Yong spent his time idly. Sometimes he sat quietly on Do-Jun’s desk, while at other times, he roamed the office, climbed on Cheol-Soo’s computer monitor, or wandered into the break room to drink water.
Upon reaching his apartment door, Do-Jun punched in the pin for the lock and stepped inside. Yong-Yong slipped in swiftly behind him.
“Welcome home, Father.” Yoon-Hee came out of the kitchen, wearing her apron over her school uniform. As always, she greeted him with a smile and took his coat.
Looking at her, Do-Jun commented, “I don’t see Yong-Yong.”
“Yeah, I haven’t seen him all day. Where could he have gone?”
Yoon-Hee glanced down at the floor by Do-Jun’s feet, then went to hang up his coat in the bedroom before returning to the kitchen.
“Daddy! Look here!” Byeol toddled over and grabbed onto Do-Jun’s pant leg, pulling him toward the living room.
On the floor were several neatly folded towels. Byeol carefully folded another towel and placed it into the storage compartment of the TV cabinet.
“Did you see that, Daddy?”
“Yes, I did. You are getting really good at housework,” Do-Jun praised her.
“Watch me do more!”
Byeol returned to the pile of towels, folded another one, and tucked it into the cabinet. Do-Jun chuckled and patted Byeol’s head.
“Dinner’s ready,” Yoon-Hee called.
***
Tonight’s dinner featured Yong-Yong’s favorite: braised short ribs. The glossy ribs, glazed in a sweet sauce, glistened temptingly.
Yong-Yong decided to make his big reveal just before the family started eating.
“Ta-da!” He suddenly appeared, removing his cloak in the middle of the living room.
“This is dewicious!” Byeol exclaimed, completely ignoring Yong-Yong.
But she wasn’t the only one.
“Eat a lot, Byeol,” Yoon-Hee said with a smile.
“Young Master, your cooking is always wonderful,” Karsiel added.
The atmosphere at the table was warm and lively.
As she swallowed a bite, Yoon-Hee remarked, “But where is Yong-Yong? I made his favorite short ribs, and he’s not even here...”
Yong-Yong approached her and said, “I’m right here!”
However, Yoon-Hee didn’t react, continuing her meal as if she hadn’t heard him. Frowning, Yong-Yong grabbed his food bowl, marked “❤Yong-Yong❤,” and carried it to Karsiel.
“Karsiel, can I have some short ribs too?” he asked.
“It’s strange how Lord Izaas has been missing since morning,” Karsiel replied.
“What nonsense are you saying? I’m right here!” Yong-Yong prodded Karsiel.
“Huh...? What’s this? Something seems to be poking me,” Karsiel muttered, rubbing her thigh.
Yong-Yong’s expression hardened. He turned sharply toward Do-Jun, forcing a smile, and asked, “M-Master, you can see me, right?”
However, as usual, Do-Jun ate silently, not reacting to him. Yong-Yong’s face started to show signs of panic.
“T-this isn’t funny anymore,” he muttered, moving toward Byeol.
Surely, Byeol would respond. Children wouldn’t be able to pull off such an elaborate prank—or so he thought.
“Byeol,” he called.
But Byeol simply ate her rice topped with ribs Yoon-Hee had deboned for her with a contented smile across her face.
“Byeol, can I have a bite too?” Yong-Yong asked, swallowing hard.
Without acknowledging Yong-Yong, Byeol remarked, “Mommy, this meat is soooo yummy.”
“Make sure to chew it properly, okay, Byeol?” Yoon-Hee said.
“Okay! But weally, where is Yong-Yong?”
Yong-Yong froze. Even Byeol? He started to get worried. Could they actually not see or hear him?
At that moment, Do-Jun got up from his seat, walked to the sofa, and picked up Aduntath’s Cloak of Invisibility.
“Why is this out here?” he muttered.
“What is it?” Yoon-Hee asked.
“It’s a cloak that turns you invisible. Once you put it on, others will never be able to see you again.”
“F-forever?” at Yoon-Hee’s question, Do-Jun nodded gravely.
He continued, “Not just your appearance. Your voice, too.”
“Could it be... that Yong-Yong put it on?” Yoon-Hee asked, sounding horrified.
“No way. If he did, that would be a big problem...” Do-Jun stroked his chin, feigning concern.
With a loud clang, the bowl Yong-Yong held dropped to the floor as he muttered, “W-what did you just say?”
Do-Jun calmly folded the cloak and placed it deep in the closet before returning to the table.
“Anyway, make sure no one touches that again.”
Looking utterly defeated, Yong-Yong trudged toward the bedroom closet. Yoon-Hee stifled a laugh as she watched him go.
“So cute,” she whispered.
When Yong-Yong returned to the living room, Yoon-Hee resumed her “act.”
“My life is over,” Yong-Yong said, resigned, collapsing onto the floor.
Then, he wailed and thumped the ground, yelling to himself, “Why! Would you! Put something on! Without even knowing what it does! You idiot!”
His tears fell to the floor like a waterfall.
“All I wanted... was to pull a harmless prank... on Master...”
Seeing Yong-Yong’s pitiful display, the others exchanged glances.
“Should we stop now?” Yoon-Hee asked.
Do-Jun nodded, and Yoon-Hee grabbed Yong-Yong’s bowl, filling it generously with short ribs. Sliding it toward the still-sobbing Yong-Yong, she said, “Here you go.”
“Huh?” Yong-Yong looked up at her, teary-eyed.
“Gotcha,” she said with a smile.
Yong-Yong’s eyes widened in disbelief. “You... can see me?”
“Of course,” Yoon-Hee replied with a smile.
“And hear me?”
“Obviously.”
Yong-Yong seemed utterly stunned. Then he slowly smiled, which turned into a wide grin.
“I knew it, haha! I was just playing along with your joke!”
Watching him, Do-Jun muttered flatly, “Yoon-Hee, why are you talking to yourself all of a sudden?”
Yong-Yong ran to Do-Jun, once again tearful. “Master, this isn’t funny anymore!”
Do-Jun chuckled softly.

Meanwhile, on the third floor of the Deep Realm.
A man grinned as he crushed the neck of an adventurer in his hand.
“So pathetically weak.”
