The next morning, Zhu Qianying arranged to meet the decoration company’s designer at the shop. After having breakfast with her mother, she unexpectedly saw the Yan family’s car parked downstairs. Seeing them come out, the driver immediately got out of the car to greet them.

"Missus, the Young Master said that things have been unsettled these days, and asked me to pick you two up to the shop," the driver said.

Not long after they left the community, while they were still discussing the Spring Festival, the car, which had been driving smoothly, suddenly braked sharply and, without warning, forcefully changed lanes. The car quickly sped up.

"Missus, someone is following us, quickly call the young master," the driver urged as he turned the car abruptly into a small alley.

Zhu Qianying, with no time to consider anything, took out her phone and dialed the young master Yan’s number.

"Ying’er, have you met the designer yet?" The young master Yan’s voice sounded leisurely and calm.

"Young Master Yan, we are being followed, and now Chen has driven the car into an alley," Zhu Qianying replied while looking at the situation behind, "There are three black Land Rovers following us, I can’t see the license plates but all the models are Land Rover Aurora. Three or four minutes ago, we left the community and turned right at the first traffic light."

Zhu Qianying managed to relay the current situation and geographic location to young master Yan in one breath.

"Okay, I will arrange for people to check it out immediately! Don’t answer irrelevant calls and keep your phone available! Chen will handle anything else."

Young Master Yan had got straight to the point. After replying to Zhu Qianying, he hung up the phone.

After she hung up, Zhu Qianying turned back to the driver, who was speeding up the car, and relayed, "Brother Chen, Young Master Yan said he would arrange for people to check it out, you handle the rest."

"Ok, hold on tight!" he responded.

The small alleyways seemed very old, where the walls were sprayed with big "demolish" signs. There was little human activity and the road was bumpy. The driver must have been driving at top speed, Zhu Qianying and Chen Jing kept bumping into each other even though they were holding on to the back of the seats.

Despite these circumstances, Zhu Qianying continued to keep a close eye on the Land Rovers behind them.

Perhaps it was because Brother Chen was driving so fast, or because he was familiar with the roads around here, after several bouts of winding roads, the cars behind them seemed to have temporarily disappeared.

Asking more wouldn’t help, it would only make things worse.
