Up until now, Ke Kai still thought that the young master of the Yan family was joking.

The lady seated next to Young Master Yan looked young. Under the dreamy lights, her skin was smooth and radiant, seemingly untouched by makeup.

"Young Master Ke, you’re so funny. In President Zhu’s villa, there are plenty of guest rooms. We could pick any one of them to rest, why bother driving?"

No matter how innocent Xiao Mei might look, her words were so bold that they left Ke Kai speechless.

Ke Kai didn’t bother to explain himself, only waving to a waitress to bring him a glass of water.

Compared to Ke Kai’s cold and dismissive treatment of Xiao Mei, Young Master Yan seemed to be more cordial towards Xiao Yan.

The usually accommodating Young Master Yan pushed his glass back into Xiao Yan’s hand. Unexpectedly, his body swayed and he leaned against Ke Kai.

Ke Kai was startled, he held up Young Master Yan’s shoulders and saw his face slightly flushed. His eyes were tightly closed but his breath was regular and strong. He didn’t seem to show any signs of a mishap but rather appeared to be asleep, or to put it accurately, he seemed drunk!

Xiao Yan had already put down the wine glass and bottle, bent down to check on Young Master Yan and whispered in his ear.

"Young Master Yan, let me help you upstairs to sleep, okay?"

Fury rose within Ke Kai, he stretched out his hand, pushed Xiao Yan’s shoulders back and shoved her away.

"Go away. I’m taking Young Master Yan home!"

Xiao Yan stumbled backwards from Ke Kai’s push. If it weren’t for Xiao Mei catching her quickly, she would have fallen straight onto the buffet cart.

After Xiao Yan was helped back onto her feet, she stuttered in a quavering voice, "Yo-Young Master Ke...Mr. Zhu instructed..."

Ke Kai abruptly waved his hand and curtly said, "Get lost!"

Xiao Yan thought he was going to push her again, so she quickly retreated a few steps and watched Ke Kai nervously.

However, Ke Kai had already lifted up Young Master Yan’s arm over his shoulder and walked out of the extravagant site with measured steps.
