I started to read on this site since a month. The story is varied, slow paced but most characters are be taken with him through the journey at different times. It's very creative how it's written and I find the progress unexpected. Things that happen are quite surprising. So it makes me continue to read after so many chapters
It was my first novel so,in past,It was very enjoyable and fun for me to read it.But the writing quality dropped day by day.At first the paragraph texts were detailed. But it feels very fast paced now.The backstories are good but the side characters Pov are not well written and not easy to connect with them. The love stories are good but not the best.Although not like author's other work 'Dual cultivator' but the heroines should be more possessive and yandere type. The female characters shown at the very beginning,I quite liked them but hope that the author would make them reappear later in the story.Sometimes the MC gets very dense.Like he should at least be a bit possessive of the heroines. After reading the novel 'The conqueror's path',my perspective of romance changed a bit.The time requirement for power leveling are getting too much. Also the mc is too much overpowered. He has that demishes 99% of his progress. That's too much and cliche. He also has some personality issues.Like he has millions of years cultivation experience but still acts naive. He should be more ruthless and cunning. There are also many more secrets that are yet to be shown.Author should have taken his time in the story.None of the past live of MC are well explained. If the author can keep up with the current pace and not get bored then I am sure this wholesome novel would at least have 6000-8000 chapters.Overall I am very excited and have high hopes for it.
If you want to read the absolute biggest harem ever seen then this is for you. It's also one of the best novels to leave comments on as in it is impossible to read it without leaving a comment or two.
The thing I really enjoy about this novels is that the story shifts the setting to reveal the main character's past lives. I expected myself to dislike this change in focus from the main plot, but it gets very interesting as these side stories have a charm that draws you in. And all these side stories shape the main character's growth and rediscovery of himself.
This is a perfect fast food novel!, the plot is easy to understand, the narration is simple and easy to follow and you can easily get hooked by it since the early chapters are somewhat pretty interesting and beginner friendly. this is the perfect read if you just wanna chill. Only downside is that it's pretty MID, it's just a normal cultivation novel with op/lucky mc + harem(got brainrot from reading too much of these stuff), the only unique thing about this novel is that it has VR and stuff but VR tag would almost be nonexistent to the plot after a certain simple and predictable plot twist gets revealed(ain't gonna go deeper than that cuz that would be a spoiler) it also has some seggss scenes(yeh if ur just gonna read because of that just read the authors other work specifically "dual cultivation" since that novel focuses more on the seggs stuff) tbh the seggsss scenes aren't really that good and you have to read through hundreds of chapter to get to those scenes. Characters are quite bland, not that much side character development and most of the FMC easily falls in love with the mc, romance is very underwhelming it didn't give me the "giggly" feeling (if you know what I mean) instead it cringes me out. overall this is a very solid read, although kinda mid it's still pretty good, I would definitely recommend this to beginners and those who loves to read novels with op mc and harem
Really constructive deep world building and suspense to see where the mc will end up, amazing little stories along the main goal of the journey. One of my absolute favourite. It also has some good advice hidden in there.
Cultivation online flashbacks. There a lot and lot of flashbacks but I think it is still a good story. Yes mc is super op, as the story progresses he get even more op
Lemme cook. The novel here has downsides, which ar rather self evident. The largest flaw in my opinion is it creating a huge and intricate world, and while the author is capable of managing all of that, the man does not f*cking upload to save his life. For those familiar with his other popular novel, Dual Cultivation, Cultivation Online is so different you would think they are written from different individuals. Cultivation Online has plenty of characters introduced, which some hold onto relevance, while other are slowly forgotten or have little to none screen time. The main focus of this story is our MC and his past/future. Now, the reason I gave it 5/5? It is because the novel itself is good. Action?`Good. Story? Engaging. Writing? Good, not amazing but no large mistakes. Characters? Here the issue. As I said, there are plenty of characters, so it is impossible to actually juggle all of them, because at the end of the day, it is a WRITTEN novel, you simply cannot have every characters thoughs and actions without it being thousands upon thousands of chapters. So we come back to the original issue, a too large of a world. From what it is seen, the author, despite his upload schedule, does not seem to rash the story, nor give up on the story. So we should be fine. The negative reviews on this novel are not unjustifiable. To some degree they are correct. Now, depending on YOU, the reader, the intensity of these 'flaws' might be very apparent or you might not even notice them. I personally never noticed any of the 'issues mentioned. The only pet peeve I have with this novel is the slow growth of the MC. It takes time for him to grow. He is very naive at the beginning and it takes time for him to shed himself of that naivety. That being said, there is a warrant for it. Argumentably, I believe there to be no extreme flaws with this novel, at most, some small things. Anyway, neither my nor others opinions matter here. Give it a try and see for yourself.
the best novel I have ever read and we are not even at the main part of the novel yet, in my opinion. I really believe that people that cannot stand the beginning of the novel and cry about the main character being stupid or naive just dont know how humans work because its clearely stated that the main character was basically only taught to play music and was forced to play music his whole life until he was cripped afterwhich he never ended up learning anything else. also the main character quite quickly stops being naive it just takes him time to learn everything (dont expect him to start being fang yuan brutal or anything because that just wont happen) and he doesnt evolve like a pokemon. if you dont immediately die after seeing an embarrasing/cringe/naive moment I strongly suggest to read this novel but remember that until around chapter 500-600 it is the intro of the novel basically so you wont understand why im hyping this novel so much until you get to around that part and further.
While I have no bad things to say about the story, I can't for the life of me say this novel has good writing, and that's for one reason. Subtext. There is not a single hint of subtext throughout the entire thing, the author treats every reader like they're an absolute idiot who can't understand that sometimes things are implicit not explicit. Now, that's not to say a lot of people reading webnovels aren't idiots, but I'd like to be treated like I have basic reading comprehension sometimes.
Edit: Seems my review was disliked a bunch of times by the same exact guy, phat tan. While you should always take every review you see with a grain of salt, please don't take the large amount of dislikes I've gotten as indication that I was trolling.
