They found the path and soon after driving down it, a small village appeared, with just a few dozen households, many of which still had their lights on.

He did not plan to enter the village or consider finding accommodation, but simply wanted to find a populated place to park and take a break.

Tan Wenbin could have slept at the front of the car too, but he said he was a policeman’s son and insisted on going outside to stand watch.

He got up, went to the corner where Zhu Yang was sleeping, lifted the plastic sheet, and discovered that there was only a jacket inside. The person was gone.

"When did you officially start your watch?"

Even if he really went to the village to stay the night alone, he should have come back by now.

How could a truck driver be far from his own vehicle?
