Ling Chuxia stood still, blinking her large eyes several times before she slowly came back to her senses... Had she failed?

Shi Che pulled the phone out and glanced at the screen. He paused before sliding it to answer the call.

"Hello!" His voice still carried the deliberately suppressed depth and hoarseness.

"Hey, what’s with that voice? I didn’t interrupt something good, did I?"
