Xaviera slowly looked up, her eyes clear and calm as a lake. She lightly glanced at Cory and gave a small smile, “Sure. Go ahead.”

Seeing Xaviera’s calm demeanor, Cory cut to the chase, “Xaviera, you had never presided over such an important collaboration before, and the Heninger family’s demands are high. If anything goes wrong, we wouldn’t be able to handle it!”

“Your grandfather knows that you’re capable, but being in charge means you’ll be very busy every day. I’m worried that you’ll run yourself into the ground. So we want to assign an assistant to you.”
