Caleb smiled enigmatically, “You were at Lowen Clubhouse the whole time and didn’t go out?”

Xaviera nodded hurriedly, her face sincere as she looked at Caleb. He looked back at her with gentle eyes and a soft tone, but his words made Xaviera’s heart skip a beat.

“I see, so it wasn’t today, but you had already visited previously.”

Immediately, Xaviera choked on a piece of chili in her throat, her eyes turning red. She quickly grabbed her glass and gulped down the red wine inside.

Caleb gently patted her back, “Xaviera, don’t be agitated, I’ll get you a glass of water.”

With that said, he stood up and left the private room, the gentleness and amusement in his eyes disappearing instantly, replaced by a layer of coldness.

“It seems the Drew family hasn’t changed a bit, daring to cause trouble for Xaviera.” Caleb’s face was expressionless, but a trace of murderous intent flashed in his eyes.

His thin lips opened slightly, and he chuckled, “Sean Price, since Mr. Drew enjoys faking illness so much, let him lie down for a few more days.”

Xaviera’s attack on Sir Drew must not have been solely because of Winifred Drew. There had to have been other reasons. Had the Drew family been doing something to Xaviera behind the scenes?

Caleb was filled with murderous intent, and the thought of his beloved wife being calculating and bullied by others made him unable to control his rage.

Sean Price remained silent for a moment before asking, “President, is Sir Drew’s fainting related to madam?”

Caleb nodded, his voice laced with coldness, “Yes, it was done by Xaviera. But Xaviera wouldn’t have attacked without reason. Since she took action against Sir Drew, it must be because the Drew family did something.”
