Ashley had no idea where Jennifer had brought her, however, she soon realized that it was just the two of them heading somewhere. She could hear the sound of three more footsteps along with theirs.

Keeping her senses alert Ashley memorized the the direction. Thanks to Tristan who sharpened her defensive skills, hoping it was finally the time to use it.

After about ten minutes they finally stopped and Ashley heard the sound clicking sound of the digital lock and soon the door opened.

"Follow" Ashley once again Jennifer instructed her and she silently walked along.

It was weird as Ashley couldn’t hear a single sound apart from their footsteps wondering if the place she was brought to had no one around.

Jennifer tucked her arm and they finally stopped.

Ashley’s ears twitched at the sound of approaching footsteps and suddenly her blindfold dropped, exposing her vision at the sight of the person she was dying to come across.

"We finally meet" Sandra stood right in front of her, flashing a vicious smile that irked Ashley even to this date.

Pursing her lips, Ashley clenched her jaw while her eyes glared at the woman, observing every little detail of her being.

"We finally meet" Ashley repeated her words and smirked.

After all these months of hide and seek, Sandra finally decided to expose herself.

Jennifer who sensed the heavy tension between the two gulped.

She could feel the chills run down her spine watching the two women glare at each other silently.

"Ahem... I.. Did what you said. Now I should go" Jennifer tried to sneak from the burdening situation.

Sandra wanted Jennifer to help her guide Ashley to her territory and now that she finished doing her job, Jennifer wanted to leave.

Sandra averted her eyes and gave Jennifer an agreeing blink and soon she left the place without another word.

The day Jennifer joined hands with Sandra, she understood the severity of going against her.

Jennifer would never backstab her as her entire life now depends on her charity. If she ever tries to double-cross her, Sandra would kill her the next moment.

Getting into the car, Jennifer drives back to the venue to enjoy the successful night and garner praise for hard work while Ashley gets killed at the hands of her old enemy.

Back inside the room, Ashley stood unfazed before Sandra. Her blood boiled in rage, but she kept herself on the edge as she still wanted to find her father.

Due to the blindfold, Ashley wasn’t able to see the route however she was mesmerized by the directions.

Once she found Richard, Ashley would escape this place. That was the first thing she thought, but will she be able to leave this place?

No, because she wouldn’t let Sandra live after whatever she did to her child.

Ashley hadn’t forgotten anything and she would make sure this time it would be the end of Sandra.

"Tsk, you haven’t changed a bit and are still a coward who likes doing things discreetly" Ashley mocked Sandra staring right into her eyes and watched her smile stiff.

Ashley hated this woman and she knew no matter what she said, Sandra would never change.

The woman was far away from humanity. But Ashley had to keep pushing her buttons until she found her father.

"You used so many people just go get back at me, but have you realized one thing-"

Sandra’s eyes darkened watching Ashley smile at her as she slowly made her way towards her.

"You still don’t have the guts to fight me. Even after scheming for your entire life, you couldn’t break me. I am still standing strong, and have my husband’s support and love. But what about you? Have you realized how many people you lost in your life"

Ashley tried counting the guards she came across while coming here and to her relief, there weren’t many. Which concludes that Sandra didn’t have that many people for her protection.

But what surprised Ashley was the digital protection that was similar to Lucas’. The setup was somewhat the same as she had seen back then when she was drugged.

’Does it mean the person who is helping Sandra is none other than Lucas himself’

A realization son struck in Ashley’s mind when she connected the dots.

’But wasn’t he dead?’ She pondered.

Ashley felt dreadful but she soon masked her fear and stood unwavering in front of Sandra.

Nothing could be trusted when it came to their enemies.

Ashley understood that Lucas too faked his death just like Sandra and now they both were back to get their revenge.

Lucas wasn’t just Sandra’s Alley but an important part of her scheme. While Sandra wanted to destroy the Knights, Lucas was rooting to replace them through revenge.

Once the leader of such a huge organization dies, he would take over and rule the underworld.

Using Tristan’s connection Lucas wanted to gain a position where even the cops feared him.

Ashley could now understand why Bianca’s life was at risk.

It wasn’t because she was the only lead that would somehow expose them, but it was because her father, General Austin, his only rival.

"You think lecturing me would make me change my mind? " Sandra’s voice withdrew Ashley from her thoughts and she watched her scoff.

Starting her for a moment, Ashley then chuckled.

"No, but did you think using Lucas would help you reach your goal"

The smile on Sandra’s face washed away the moment Ashley mentioned Lucas’s name.

"Caught you"
