Chapter 518: Dylan end(II)

Blood drained from Dylan’s face and his eyes popped out of his socket in terror. He stumbled on his feet as he watched the person standing in front of him.

Noah stood by the wooden door of the cabin. His bloodshot eyes glared at him in rage.

"LEAVE. HER" Noah spoke gnashing in teeth looking at Dylan’s hand that had grabbed Alice’s hair.

As if his warming hit right into Dylan’s gut, his grip instantly loosened.

Alice took his distraction as a chance to escape. Forcing herself up, she ran towards Noah and hugged him tightly.

"Noah... you.." unable to hold herself, Alice burst into tears crying desperately into his arms.

The sheer sense of helplessness she went through left her disheveled. She was scared that Dylan might do something to her and their child, but watching Noah come to rescue her gave her hope.

"Shh...everything’s going to be fine," he said caressing her back gently.

"Alice" Anna and Taylor dashed inside the cabin and immediately sided the couple.

Alice broke the hug and embraced Anna, who too tried to calm her down.

"Mom, take Alice away" Their happy moment was cut short when Noah asked the ladies to leave.

Giving his father a meaningful glance, Taylor gave him a nod and asked them to step out along with him.

Once they left, Noah turned his attention towards the man who was now trembling watching his feral gaze.

Dylan had lost the sense of thinking. He was still trying to process Noah’s arrival when his voice itself broke his trance.

"You thought you were the only one who was smart, huh? You will enter the Wayne house and no one will recognize you?" Dylan stood stunned hearing him.

Noah had everything monitored since the day they caught that drunk stranger. Even though the man was intoxicated, however after getting beaten to a pulp, he sobered and spilled everything.

To cross-check, they provided him with Dylan’s photo to which he positively responded. It was then, that Noah changed his mind and patiently waited for Dylan to carry his plan, assuming no one was watching him.

As Noah watched Dylan’s face turn pale from deadness, he slowly started walking towards him.

Dylan took a step back with every step Noah headed closer to him until his back hit the wall making him realize that there was no room for him to run.

"N-Noah... let me go.. p-please. I promise I won’t show my face" Dylan knew his end had come and to escape from Noah’s wrath, he decided to beg for his mercy.

Noah’s deadpan face didn’t flinch a bit, but hearing Dylan’s pleading words made him laugh.

"You chose to mess with the wrong person Dylan and you know in my dictionary there is no word called mercy"

Dylan’s eyes widened in shock when Noah suddenly pulled out a gun from his pocket and pointed it right in between his brows.

"However, I will spare your life a mercy" Noah’s words confused Dylan, and before he could understand Noah turned the head of the gun and shot his arm, before tossing it towards him.

Dylan caught the gun however before he could process it, the police force broke inside the cabin.

"SHOOT..." Dylan heard the head officer command and several gunshots came his way piercing through his flesh until his body landed lifeless on the ground.

Outside, Alice shuddered at the sound of gunshots covering her ears, and once those noises were silenced, her head flung in the direction of the cabin and she saw Noah step out.

Alice was about to smile, but when she noticed the blood stain on the sleeves of his shirt, everyone panicked and she ran to him anxiously.

"Noah!" Alice’s trembling voice caught his attention and he quickly engulfed her in his arms.

Alice pulled back and looked at the blood. "You are bleeding?" she said moving her terrified eyes towards him, however in return, she watched him smile.

"It’s nothing, Alice. I am fine. It’s just a small scratch" Noah assured but Alice refused to agree. She was about to voice out when the head police officer walked out of the cabin’s door and approached them.

"Mr. Wayne" Both Alice and Noah turned his way.

"Dylan has been taken care of, however, we will need Mrs. Wayne’s statement for further process"

Noah assured the officer and soon they returned to the mansion.

"Ah!.." Noah screamed in pain when Taylor treated his wound.

Giving Alice a pitiful look Noah buried his face in the crook of her neck and let Taylor finish his job.

"I think you both need to rest. It’s been a rollercoaster ride and I don’t want Alice to stay awake" Taylor said and soon he and Anna left the room.

Alice caressed Noah’s head and watched him pull back.

"I am sorry you have to go through that dreadful event" Noah’s apologized.

Alice smiled lovingly, admiring his face, and leaned closer to seal their lips for a few seconds before pulling back.

"But you can on time" Alice assured.

Noah had to keep this a secret from Alice. He didn’t want her to panic after learning Dylan was working in the Wayne Mansion. He wanted her to remain carefree while he executed his plan.

Thanks to his parents who supported him and made sure Alice was fine.

Dylan had thought he managed to win a jackpot, but it was all a trap they had set up for him. Fortunately, everything went according to their plan and now he had finally been taken care of.

Noah had promised Alice that he wouldn’t taint his hand unless it was needed. He kept his promise the the biggest hurdle in their life was gone.

As the couple kept staring at each other with utmost adoration and love, they couldn’t hold back their desire for one another, and in a split second, they were back kissing each other.

These few days away from each other were like torture to them but now everything was fine, they were fine.

With every lick of their tongue, both Alice and Noah expressed their sheer admiration and longing for one another. Their mouth devouring each other like there was no tomorrow.

As their lips sank into the rhythm of their heart, Noah slowly helped Alice lie on the bed, while he carefully hovered over her. They both needed each other like a bee needed a flower.

Alice was like that flower that helped Noah live his life. She was the nectar from whom he withdrew the true meaning of life.

It was no less for Alice too. For her Noah was that ray of light that fell onto her dark, dull life and pulled her out of their stagnant existence. She began to live like a child slowly getting to learn about life and its beautiful meaning.

Once they were out of breath, Noah pulled back and stared at her flushed face. "You need to rest," he said breathlessly and watched her nod shyly.

Flipping, Noah lay next to her side and pulled her closer to his chest. His fingers gently stroked her arms and watched her snuggle further into his solace.

"Noah, I love you" Alice confessed craning her head to look at Noah who also had his gaze fixated on her at the same moment.

A smile curved on his lips and responded," I love you more. You are the world to me, Alice. Without you I am nothing" his words moved her heart and she found her eyes tearing up, but before she could let them fall, Noah kissed her eyes and swallowed those pearl.

"I promise to bring you only happiness," he said and she bobbed her head in agreement before they drifted to sleep.

The news of Dylan’s death shocked Ashley and she immediately drove to meet Alice. She was happy to see everything had been taken care of thoughtfully and both Alice and the baby weren’t harmed at all.

"Now you need to relax Alice and enjoy your pregnancy phase. You need to embrace this gift without any fears" Ashley said.

While the girls kept on talking, Anna asked the maid to bring Alice and Ashley some snacks and fruits.

"By the way any news about Sandra?" Alice asked munching her apple.

Ashley shook her head in dismay but assured," Don’t worry, if everything goes according to our plan we will find Sandra, until then let’s live out life"

Alice bobbed her head like an obedient child and finished eating her fruit salad while they enjoyed their talks.

After meeting Alice, Ashley drove to the set. The shoot was soon going to wrap up and last week’s schedule was quite hectic.

Ashley had been monitoring Jennifer’s actions thoroughly however to her surprise, the woman remained indifferent.

After creating a scene a few days back, the director warned Jennifer about her absurd behavior. But as if her true face was slowly becoming visible to everyone, Jennifer remained proud and indifferent to his warning.

She demanded the team to wrap up her scenes as quickly as possible as she had no time to spend on a film that didn’t value her work.

Her rudeness left everyone shocked, but knowing how she was thrown out of her current agency, it was clear that Jennifer was purposely giving everyone a hard time.
