"She is surely something" Ashley sighed in defeat.

Tristan threatening Mia in exchange for her life wasn’t something surprising, but what surprised her was how quickly she changed sides.

Mia worked according to her convenience by quickly agreeing to Tristan’s threat. After all, it was the question of her life, but how did she suddenly decide to betray Jennifer who was her only provider?

’Shouldn’t she be loyal to her’ she thought.

"For now, we need to keep her under our supervision. I am sure through Mia we would come to find out about the person who is secretly supporting them" Tristan stated, breaking her chain of thoughts.

Ashley agreed with a silent nod before getting up from the couch.

"Are you sure, you are fine with me staying at Wayne Mansion for tonight?" she asked, still skeptical of how easily he agreed to her request without whining like a child.

Tristan was like that clingy husband who liked to stick to her all the time but respecting her profession and determination to work, he had to cut it for the day, but for the night, there was no way he would leave her side.

Ashley creased, tilting her head in confusion when she watched him force a smile. His lips twitched in annoyance as he tried his best to hide his anger and said," It’s fine wifey. I can manage for a night, but make sure you come him tomorrow" he demanded between his forging smile.

Ashley remained quiet for a moment, assessing his reaction before letting out an agreeing hum.

On her way home, Ashley received a call from Alice, expressing her wish for her visit tonight. She was suddenly missing her friend and wanted to spend some time with her at their familial mansion.

At first, she was skeptical to agree for the night out, but when Alice assured her that Tristan didn’t mind it, she felt confused. So after ending the discussion Ashley still initiated to ask, whether he was fine with sleeping alone for tonight to which he agreed without any hesitation.

Without pondering much, Ashley then headed to the changing room and soon the couple drove to the Wayne Mansion.

"I knew my son wouldn’t decline my request. After all, I am his favorite aunt" Anna laughed praising herself in front of everyone.

Ashley pursed her lips into a thin smile and looked at Tristan who tried his best to hide his displeasure.

’So it was Aunt Anna who convinced him. No doubt he agreed so easily’ she said sipping the water from the glass.

It’s been a while since she last met the couple, so when Alice expressed her wish, she couldn’t refuse and immediately called Tristan. Since he refused to stay because of some work-related issue, he agreed to let Ashley stay for tonight.

Spending some time talking, Tristan then left the house, while Alice dragged Ashley to her room.

"Hmm... my godson is growing faster than I thought" Ashley expressed looking at Alice’s profoundly growing belly.

Alice smiled caressing her stomach and nodded. "He just wants to come out earlier, I guess" She smiled expressing the child’s thoughts.

It’s been a while since they met. After informing them about that stalker outside their house, Ashley came to learn that the person who was monitoring their house was not Dylan, but some drunkard who wanted to sneak into the house and steal money.

After a thorough interrogation, Noah finally settled on his words and handed him to the cops.

Ashley was relieved that nothing happened to Alice and her doubt turned out to be false.

"By the way, how’s your shoot? I heard you are getting praised for your impressive acting" Alice asked.

She heard from Noah about Ashley’s progress through Tristan and how proud he sounded as her husband. Alice knew Ashley wasn’t someone who easily gave up once she made up her mind and her decision to change her profession would lead her to immense success.

Ashley smiled shyly. "I am just doing my job. Soon the shoot will end and I could finally see myself on the big screen" she expressed.

There were still a few days for them to finally wrap up the shoot and Ashley found herself getting excited to watch her performance. She knew she wasn’t as convincing as other actors but she won’t let down Franklin and Tristan who trusted her for this difficult role.

"I know you are going to win many hearts. I am confident you will" Alice never doubted Ashley and she knew with her passion and determination, she would reach her goals.

As the girls kept talking when they heard a knock on the door and soon a maid walked in informing them about the dinner.

Halting their chat, they soon joined Anna and Taylor at the dining table.

While the group of four where having dinner inside, a certain someone had been keeping an eyes on from from discreet.

His eyes looked at them from the windows, especially the girl for he troubled himself so much.

"You can’t escape me Alice" Dylan smirked starting at her with sinister eyes before turning around and walking away.

It had been a weak since he disguise as one of the servant in the Wayne House. After replacing that drunkard on behalf of him, Dylan starter finding another way to get closer to Alice and out of anywhere in the world, it was none other than the Wayne House.

It didn’t take long to manipulate his identity and disguise as one of the servant inside the House. From his name to his appearance everything was fake. But his intention remained the same.

Dylan knew he was taking a huge risk by stepping in the Wayne Mansion, but to kill Alice and the child in her womb, he could go through any extend.

He was tried of waiting now and wanted to eliminate them sooner. He wanted to see Noah suffer and go through the same pain and now the time had finally arrive.

With Alice staying in the Wayne mansion, he was now even more closer to executing his plan and all he have to wait for the right time.

Sitting by the balcony of Bianca’s room both Gabriel and Bianca silently enjoyed their dessert.

Gabriel who wasn’t a fan of sweets, couldn’t decline her request and joined her without any hesitation.

His eyes kept glancing at her delightful face, every time she took a scoop of the Belgium ice cream.

Gabriel had always wondered why girls enjoyed eating one, but now he understand the reason behind it.

"Do you like it that much" He asked stopping the girl midway.

Bianca turned to look at him and smiled cheeky. "Hmm... It’s my favorite since childhood" She said before resuming.

"Do you like it?" She asked this time and watched him look at the almost full cup.

"Not that much. It’s just too sweet" He said frankly.

Gabriel had one eaten a spoon or two and rest was melting. He was so busy savoring the expression of the girl sitting next to him that he didn’t care about the ice cream anymore.

Bianca gave him a wide eyes look as of she was shock to hear that response from him. But then how could she deny his physique. To maintain such strong and masculine body, he had to look after his dietary.

"Hmm" She simply humed in response making him arch his brow in questioning.

Gabriel thought she would ask him why, but her response just simply left him hanging.

’Does she find me boring ’ he thought as she concentrated back on finishing her cup.

"Apart from trying cooking is there anything other things you would like to do" He spoke up and watched her eyes go wide the next second.

Bianca coughed when he brought up the same topic. She just wanted to forget whatever happened today and promised herself to never step into the kitchen ever again. But here is was sprinkling salt on her wound.

"Mr.Riel, if you are trying to make fun of me then please don’t. I know I suck in cooking but there are many things I can do." She stated watching him smile at her.

Bianca would have gone gaga over his deadly smile but she realized he was just teasing her.

Gabriel watched her frown as she stated the oblivious. He knew she was the daughter of the military general Austin Peterson, but she kept her identity hidden as she wanted to make a name of her ow and not relying on her father’s reputation.

She left he house to study medicine at eighteen and since then she had been living alone.

Gabriel thought a self independent lady like her would come to learn household chores but he was wrong. Apart from cooking the girl knew everything and be couldn’t deny the fact that’s she sucks in making delicious food.

Gabriel agreed to her and said, " I trust you" Those meaningful words from him left Bianca surprise and her heart melt at the sight of his smiling face.

’Why are his lips so kissable’
